When jon arrives he sees the town in total chaos buildings are on fire, people are arguing, everyone looks different or has strange powers, and he continues to hear talk of "zombies." A woman runs up to him, "you look kinda funny kid, you better not be one of them!" a man comes to jon's defense, "Come on Sharon, I know your scared, but he doesn't look like one of the flesh eaters." Another voice sounds in the distance, "Necrodons I told you that's what we ought to call them."

Kaci hears elliots voice, this snaps her out of her sick carnal desires and she lets the little girl go, who intern runs into elliots arms. Kaci softly says his name.

"yeah," she says as tears fill her eyes, "keep that kid the ******** away from me." She backs further into the dark not wanting to be seen.

"I can't come into the light elliot, it hurts" she groans with hunger and pushes further away. "I don't know about ******** bitches on fire but I know why their sisters might want to eat them." Kaci can't handle the thoughts going on her head about what she'd like to do to elliot, she grabs on to something to throw at him. It's soft and furry, it's a dead cat. As kaci goes to touch it she feels her body painlessly contort and reshape itself into an identical form. She runs off toward darker places but cannot leave the apt as the sun is now high in the sky.

elliot walks the full depth of the corner and finds nothing, he sees a hallway to his right.

Kaci hears Elliot's voice coming from upstairs. She realizes he doesn't understand that this is what's best for him, would he rather she accidentally attack him? She decides she'll keep an eye on him and wait until she's eaten something to explain what's going on with her. In the mean time she'll do her best to avoid him in the apt, which shouldn't be that hard in a pitch black basement.

Elliot hears a shuffeling from the ceiling, the male vampire from before prepare to attack elliot.
