The stab to his arm caused blood to spurt heavily onto the cold, steel floor. He now no longer had the use of his right arm, so now he had to get by with fighting using the left.
Roderick didn't know how much more of this he could take. He was tired, and now in a great deal of pain. One more moderately decent strike could take him down now, but he refused to give up until he was on the floor, out cold.
Using all the strength he had left, he dealt another blow to the face, hoping without any real rationality on his side that he could somehow walk away victorious.

Zeek got punched by Roderick in the face. He did not try to dodge the attack. He knew it was going to be over if Roderick could only use one hand now.
Zeek tightened his fist to give one huge blow to the face. He knew this was going to be the final blow of the fight. Roderick was taken back from the hit and fell backwards on the floor. The fight was over. Both of them were very bloody at the end of the fight.
Zeek approached Roderick who was on the floor huffing and puffing. "Moral values huh.", Zeek helping him, "But you have strength that I need. Follow me we have some work to do. You can't be slacking on your first day as part of my crew", he smirked. "Oh, Roderick is too long of a name. I am gonna call you Rod.", he added.

He didn't much like the name Rod, but he'd had worse nicknames.
Roderick got up, feeling dizzy from all the blood he had just lost. By the look of it, his new employer had suffered almost as much pain as he had. But not quite.
Roderick wiped away some of the blood spilling down his nose, and said "Rod will be fine. By the way," he added, "I never did catch your name..."

They arrived at a medical building to recover the bodies. Rod asked him what has name was. "It should be obvious that my name should be captain." They both looked at each other in the awkward moment of silence. Zeek laughed, "I am just kidding lighten up", he joked. "But seriously, I am Zeek D. Marksman. You can call me Zee, Mark, or whatever as long as you can get my attention." They went inside the medical facility where some small round robots guided us to a bed. They treated our wounds very fast. Spraying antidotes and other chemicals on our small cuts which regenerated within a few seconds. Afterwards, the robots stitched our bigger cuts at high speed. They injected us with liquid that would make our bodies create blood faster for a short period of time.
"Time for some business", Zeek approaching Rod. He reached into his pocket taking a small round hologram projector. He turned it on and five hologram papers lined up. The first thing that caught Rod's attention was, The Conquistador. "I stole this from the Terran's Military database. The Conquistador is now known as Centuria. The Centuria has lost contact with the Terrans so they sent the Golems. The Golems are a series of military ships, the CNS Behemoth and the CNS Tarrasque. Our goal is simple we need to reach Centaria and intercept the military ship and make them our own."

"The Centuria? I've heard of it. Apparently it's one of the most powerful ships the Terrans have." he paused for a moment to recall where he had heard the term "Golem" before. "And as for the Golems...are you planning to start a rebellion, or what?"
