The autobots are too high-minded, but conversely the decepticons are too antagonistic for their own good. If they stopped conniving against each other as much as they do, the autobrand would be little more than a footnote in history.
Autobots lack the ruthlessness to eliminate the Decepticon threat.
Decepticons lack the unity to eliminate the Autobot threat.

IDW is freaking epic, but right now I'm completely obsessed with Animated. This is the best season yet!

toria94 Magni Prime Blurr wasn't just killed. eek That was one of the most brutal moments I can recall in Transformers. Not for cybergore, but the fact that we got to see the horror in his eyes as he knew he was dead. We . . . watched . . . him . . . die. A blaster or explosion is quick and to the point. He was crushed and knew what was happening. That was one of the most difficult moments to come along in a LONG while. Then, in a Bayformeresque moment, his remains were treated as utter garbage. Very telling for decepticon Shockwave, and a chilling moment in the show. true.. but in the G1 movie, Prowl, Ratchet, and Ironhide's deaths were.. NOT okay. especially Prowl's when that gas stuff spewed out of his mouth and his optics turned orange.. crying
That made me CRY! My parents were concerned for my sanity. gonk
