I thought the episode was amazing, but kind of awful how The Doctor left Rose - she's sort of got the proper one, but sort of not... and he didn't even say goodbye to her properly. And that human Doctor can't do any of the things that he's used to, but he does get Rose so... that's good. I thought the whole thing was heartbreaking xx

I thought it was a great episode with good twists. I wish donna would of somehow kept her memory, but she "died" for the second time since turn left. I liked how the story ended for rose,though it is not exactly the doctor she ended up with. I can understand why mickey didn't go back to the parallel universe, he would just get shoved aside again since there would be a doctor there. With three doctor minds it wasnt fair for the daleks,lol. I cant wait till the specials,and season 5. I would love to see a non human companion, or atleast a male,since they have been scarce since the first series. I also was thinking about the half human part. lol, ill just say that when they say part human/timelord, it doesnt mean half(did it ever say half?, cant remember)

I don't like that they've just kinda disregarded the movie like that. They can hardly say its not canon D: Otherwise where did 8th come from? And the only thing really bad about that movie was the master who was out acted by a cgi snake.

Having not seen the movie, I'm no expert, but isn't there a lot of speculation that the Doctor had only made up the half human part? Like, wasn't he ranting off a bunch of random stuff at that point?

Ah I didn't realise that was from the movie, I've not seen all of it... but I don't think that it did the classic series justice from what I did see. Maybe I'll have to watch it after all xx

How they handled the re-generation and how all the secondary characters ended up being saved felt a bit anti climactic for me. Plus did they realy have to make the Daleks look so comical before, dare I say it, exterminating them?

Davros was awsome though. Best acting I've seen since the new series started! One thing though, I do hope when the series is picked up again they try and end the series on a real posative note this time! The very end felt somewhat empty since they had to get rid of ANOTHER companion and prevent any possability of coming back. Especialy because this one was so unique!

Seriously though, I REALY hope they don't pull another "******** you fans!" and make another depressing ending. Yes, tragedy is part of the Doctors life. But can't we have more consistancy with companions and NOT have to face tragedy at every series end? Surley they could end it on a posative note and have them go out swinging!

That's my rant over.

hmm Maybe thats whats been bugging me the fact that it was all just,too easy. Donna spews a bit of techno babble and everythigns all fixed. sad
But I for one loved the doctor with Donna's mannerisms and Donna with the doctors. It made me happy.
Also the line she has about being half human making her more clver bothers me cause isn't the other doctor part human that line confused me.

I agree that it was pretty contrived. sad

That line gets me a tad, too. It's...I have no idea.

Maybe the Cybermen in the Christmas special is a good thing. Maybe they'll finally tie up the Cybermen storyline like they did with the Daleks so that there's a reasonable chance we won't have to see them again, or at least for a long while.

That's what I was hoping.
'Cos if the Daleks can come back?
The Cybermen can make a return too.
I really do hope that they're just going to finish Cybermen off for us.

What my thoughts on the episode were?
I was damn happy they were pushing the stupid things around. It made me laugh. Davros? Yeah... He was real icky looking- they did such a great job on him.
Oh and the acting!
That was fantastic on his behalf.

And I liked that Jackie was there!
Hello, do you really think she's just gonna stand back and let her daughter dissappear off to god knows where agian?
I think not.
That woman is far too strong willed.

Oh, and on that note...
I wanted to punch the Doctor in the face for not giving Rose a proper goodbye.
Stupid males.

Anyway, DoctorDonna was fantastic. And the look on her face when she realised what the Doctoir had to do. He couldn't let her die. We may have lost the Donna we all love- but I sure as hell wopn't forget her.
She was one of my favourite companions by far. 'Cos taht's all she was. A companion. A friend.

And 10.5?
I loved him.
