"Rivers, huh." Sebatian took a quick glance at the glaring Lux by his side. His sister was way to carefree. "Well," he looked back down at the girl on the floor, "Let me help you up Wendy." He extended his right hand toward her with a smirk on his face. He had to appear decent in front of his sisters 'friends', even if they may not be pure.

Wendy blushed a little as she took his hand and let him help her up. "Thanks," she said, still keeping her gaze down.
What're you so worried about? You're pureblood - he wouldn't do anything to you. But she didn't really believe that; most Slytherins were mean no matter what your lineage. They just might be a bit more lenient if you're a pureblood.

Lux rolled her eyes at Sebastian. He was so uptight. She looked at Wendy. "As I was saying before we were interrupted," glare at Sebastian, "I'm Luxury Moon. I don't know why my parents called me that but you can call me Lux." She said smiling.
Sebastian's smirk grew wider. He still had a hold of Wendy's hand so he bent down and gave it a light kiss. "Anytime Wendy." He let go of her hand and turned to Lux. "Meet me in the Great Hall at supper ok." It was not a request.
"I'll be there." Lux said as Sebastian walked away to continue whatever it was he was doing in the libary. "Would I be able to have that book back Wendy?" she asked.

Wendy turned scarlet when Sebastian kissed her hand - she used up all her willpower to not yank her hand away; good-looking though he was, she hadn't liked it. She couldn't really put a finger on the reason she'd felt that way - it wasn't necessarily about the actual experience, it was just him. There was something about that boy that she just plain didn't like.
Finally able to pull herself back to reality, she heard Luxury request the return of her book. Wendy handed it over. "H-Here. Lux, did you say your name was? That's pretty. Nice to meet you," she said with a smile that was only a bit shaky. She hoped that she wasn't conveying how hard her heart was still beating.

Lux took in Wendy's red face and shaky voice. Damn you Sebastian! "I'm so sorry about that. He gets a little defensive. That's just his way of greeting people I meet. You know how big brothers are." she stammered. Trying to make friends while Sebastian was around was next to impossible. "I'll, um, see you later then." She said, hugging the book and notes to her chest.

Lux smiled once more at Wendy and went to get the book checked-out. She then had to stop herself from finding Sebastian and kicking his royal butt. No matter what country we're in he always does this. I'm sick of it. She couldn't wait for supper that night. She was going to give that good-for-nothing brother of hers a piece of her mind.

Wendy watched her go, then took her seat on Remus's other side again, not really caring at that point whether they were done with their little talk or not. She'd come here to study at first, anyway. She flicked through one of the books she'd grabbed until she found a page on vampires, then tried to concentrate on it. What she discovered was that concentrating wasn't something she was very good at right now. Choosing to disregard this, she soldiered on.

The doors to the library opened, and what appeared to be a large pile of books entered. The book stack wobbled carefully over to the return desk at the front of the library and lowered itself onto the desk's surface. From behind the stack came a breathless and flushed moderately good-looking Hufflepuff, swiping her hair from her face impatiently. With a sigh, Marketa made her way to the shelves and began to heave more heavy books into her arms, about to resemble another stack of books in a few minutes.

Sirius chose to ignore Moony's last comment, instead turning his eyes to the door. His jaw dropped. His eyes flicked nervously back to Remus, and his hand went flying up to grab a lock of his hair.
Sirius was too stunned to move, let alone help her.

Still unable to concentrate, Wendy looked up to see what had induced the sudden silence. Following Sirius's gaze she saw Marketa. She turned back to the boys to be sure that neither of them was making any move toward helping the girl, then sighed and stood herself. I swear, sometimes boys are so completely and utterly useless! she thought.
"Oh, here, d'you need help with those?" Wendy asked, walking over to where Marketa was.

Mar turned around quickly, but managed to keep her stack of books upright. "Huh?" she asked. "Oh, no, I am fine!" she hurriedly said with a wan smile. She wobbled over to a table and set her books down.
