Iwona nodded, smiling still from her excitement. "We should both jump at the same time!" she deduced; she wouldn't be afraid to jump or of the falling if he was right there with him.

Nereus grinned. "Sounds good to me! On the count of three?" He positioned himself ready to jump and held out his paw for her to take if she wanted. "One, two..."

Iwona smirked back. "Yeah, on three!" She took his paw and croutched down near the edge of the cliff. "One... two... THREE!" she yelled as she hurled herself off.

Nereus leaped off with her and held tightly to her paw as they began to plummet down into the dark water below. Nereus laughed loudly as they fell through the air.

Iwona's grip tightened as she felt the weightlessness that comes with falling, and looked around smiling brightly. She exclaimed a scream of delight and laughed as they plummeted down towards the water below.

Nereus kept his eyes on Iwona as they continued to fall. He wanted to make sure she was having fun. He looked down to see the fast approaching water and yelled, "Hold your breath!" Not completely sure she would be able to hear him. He sucked in a deep breath as he prepared to hit the water.

Iwona cocked her head slightly to the side as she saw his mouth move, but heard no words. "Wha-?" she was cut off by realizing the water was quickly appearing below her. She sucked in her breath, closed her eyes, and felt the water come over her.

As soon as Nereus saw she was preparing to hold her breath, he too sucked in huge breath and held as they plunged into the water. The sudden pressure of the water made him lose his grip on her paw, but he quickly found her again. He opened his eyes briefly to look at her beneath the water.

Iwona opened her eyes and let her breath escape in bubbles as she felt his paw be pulled away, and she reached out until it was found once more. She looked at him under that water, and smiled before the realization of a need to breath hit her. She quickly swam to the top and gasped for breath.

Seeing she needed air, Nereus quickly helped her to the surface, finally feeling the need himself. He took in a deep breath and then breathed out again to take in another breath. He looked at her and grinned. "So..." he said as he breathed out again, "Ya liked it?"

Iwona gasped and laughed. She huffed in and out, and looked around breating deeply. She looked at him and smiled. "Yeah! That was so much fun!"

Nereus grinned from ear to ear hearing the excitement in her voice. "I knew you'd love it!" he exclaimed. He excitedly pulled her closer and hugged her without thinking.

Iwona blinked curiously at the hug, it was something new to her. She decided that she would try to do the same, and hugged him back.

Nereus smiled. He hadn't really meant to hug her, but his excitement had got the best of him. He continued to tread water with his back feet as he still hugged her. "Wow..." he breathed.
