Nova Blancke Dragon Sneeze Nova Blancke Silly Genji Shinyuudai Akira "Hm, what an odd bunch." Reznik chuckled, puffing on his own cigar.
"Russel, Rozalin and Daniel..." He smiled, blowing out a perfect ring out smoke.
The ring expanded, it began to break apart, as it grew it could no longer retain its bonds, spreading like a misty blanket and drifting off into space to tear the o-zone layer apart.
"Right, I wanna show you three something." He sighed, walking and motioning for them to come, biting down on the cigar and sticking his hands into his coat pockets for warmth.
"And keep it down, this isn't exactly a gentle neighborhood." Reznik nodded to the three.
'Hm, what a trio.' He smiled to himself.
"You know, you're going to be disappointed." He explained, removing the cigar from his mouth and extinguishing the smoldering tobacco, then popping it into a cylindrical tin for later.
"There probably aren't any ghosts at all." He smiled, turning away and leading them down a nearby side street. Daniel flicked away his cigarette and walked by his side. He remained silent, and would do until spoken to. Russel looked at Rozalin. Or checked her out a bit who cares? Then he raised an eyebrow at her." Watches?" "Yes. Watches." Rozalin replied. "Hmmm okaaay" Russel replied. Odd hobby he thought to himself. Reznik paused, his ear twitch habitually and he turned his head to face Russel, still walking.
"You're a daredevil..." Reznik sighed, looking at the man analytically.
"Your general appearance shows the 'bad-boy' stereo-type, yet your vehicle and the clothing itself presents wealth of some note. The manner in which you arrived shows recklessness..." Reznik muttered, recalling the tyre-marks on the road as they'd exited the bar.
"And you ask stupid questions..." Reznik added, "All stunt-men ask stupid questions."
He rounded a corner and pointed across the street, a tall and empty looking Hotel stood before them.
"Here we are..." He nodded, motioning again at the building.

"Good night Ms.Sena."
"Good night Dr.Lier."
"Be careful when walking home, Catori."
"I will, Laura, thanks."
"Your brother's waiting outside for you, Nurse Sena."
"Thank you Mrs. Thomason."
Catori trotted out the doors, waving over her shoulder. Beneath the a lone lightpost, a young man with his ebony hair pulled back into a ponytail leaned against the empty bike-rack, nose buried in a book. Catori smiled.
"Heeeey! Veyo!" she called as she jogged over to him.
The young man looked up from his book (or more precisely, a rather voluminous encyclopedia) and smiled as he saw his twin sister heading towards him. Closing the book, he stashed it away in his book bag with one hand while spreading the other one to let Catori run to him hugging.
"Hey Cat," he replied back, his mellow voice warm. "No troubles today, hmm? That's good."
"Aww, Veyo! You always have to ruin it like that!" Catori pouted, eyes dancing. "Let's go."
The twosome chatted amiably as they walked. Passing by a bar, Catori felt the compulsion to turn. There was no one there, but there were tire marks amongst the confetti of cigarette butts that littered the sidewalk and road. How odd, she thought. I wonder why I noticed that?
The answer became clear when the twins came to the intersection. Cheveyo's eyes strayed to the supposedly haunted hotel at the other end of the road, while Catori's eyes fell instead to the three men and one woman who were making their way to the hotel just across the street from them. As her eyes passed over a gruff-looking man who was obviously drunk, she felt a small twinge. She frowned. The man wasn't dangerous, but . . . something dangerous was bound to happen to anyone around the man in the future.

Reznik paused again, his ear twitched, his body felt extremely cold.
"Jesus..." He coughed, turning sharply to face the twins watching from up the street.
"This... eugh..." He groaned, his head ached acutely.
"Clairvoyance..." He seethed, falling to his knees and smashing his fist on the pavement in agony.
"The ********, ********... Why is this HAPPENING?" He groaned, his voice breaking with the pain.
The pain faded, his vision had become blurred, his mind had become a safehouse, locking him ********..." He spat, standing unsteadily and pointing at the two.
"Who the ******** are you?" He grunted.

Catori jumped when the man suddenly turned to them. And the moment he'd fallen she was gone, caution thrown to the winds as she dashed across the street to check on his condition. She didn't have to; moments later he was up, albeit unsteady, and pointing at her and Cheveyo, who was just catching up.
"We . . ." Catori began.
"She's a nurse," Cheveyo replied. "Are you alright, Mr.Woden?"

His eyes came to rest on the girl, she seemed on edge. "A nurse?" He asked, eyeing her suspiciously. "And you're a librarian, huh?" He chuckled, turning back to the brother. "This night is just getting better and better..." He grunted, patting Daniel on the shoulder in gratitude and straightening himself up, offering the hip-flask to his support.

Daniel stepped back refused the offer with a wiry, unsure smile and was sure to up-down scan the new comers. He kept his thoughts to himself, once again and did not utter a word of introduction and it didn't look like he was about to, either.

"He's fine, Cat," Cheveyo told her. "Nothing that you need to worry about. I'm sure Mr.Woden is made of brasher stuff than that." Turning his attention to Reznik and his three companions, he continued, "I'm assuming the only reason you're here is to investigate the hotel down the street?"
