Rain cuddled into Frosty. “That would be nice.” Looking up at him she asked. “Do you really think he’d stay near by? Don’t kids usually want to get as far from there parents as possible?”

He grinned a little and nodded slightly. " I've never actually had my own children but I supposed some of them do try to get as far as they can away from there parents. I guess it depends on the type of relationship they had with there parents. "

Rain nodded her head. “Well its no use worrying about it right now.” Her ears flicked back. “Did you hear something?” Standing she flicked her ears back and forth listening closely.Diamond made his way carefully through the forest following his mothers trail. Stopping at the edge of the forest he blinked startled. ‘The beach but Mother told me it was to early to go swimming, so why would she come here?’ Looking around he frowned. ‘I don’t see her but the trail definitely leads here.’ Walking further down he began to see paw prints. ‘Two sets?’ He began to follower the prints. “Mother,” he called hoping for an answer.

Frosty's ears twitched as well and he stood to Rain side. His bright green eyes scanned the cave though it was some what dark and hard for even one of there kind to see all. " Perhaps just a small animale maybe? " Glancing at Rain he stepped forwards between her and the closest entrance before speaking up. " Hello? Is there someone there? "

Diamond followed the prints all the way to the cliffs. ‘What? The spring!’ He ran along the cliff until he came to the small opening. He froze at hearing a male voice. “Hello,” he called warily. “I’m looking for my Mother.
Rain frowned. ‘That sounds like Diamond.’ Stepping forward she nudged Frosty. “I think that’s Diamond. It must be getting late if he’s come looking for me.” She grinned happily. 'Frosty's right, Diamond isn't just going to up and leave one day, not if he's come looking for me now.'

Hearing a response Frosty took this as a good sign. If the other had been bad news Frosty didn’t gather that they would have responded at all. He turned to look at Rain as she nudged him and nodded to her words. “ Well then, I believe we should great him. ” Looking to the tunnel he stepped forwards before stopping again and smiling to the lightly colored female. “ Hang onto my tail when go trough the tunnel, that way you don’t get lost. ” Turning he headed back down the tunnel that Diamonds voice came from.

Rain laughed. "Lost in a tunnel?" Shaking her head she nonetheless held onto his tail. She sighed in relief when they reached the other side.
Diamond lunged forward at his mother and hugged her. "Mom! I was stating to get worried." He turned and regarded the male with her. "Hello, I'm Diamond and you are?" he asked coolly. 'He better not have hurt her,' he growled to himself.
"Diamond," Rain said shocked, not believing her son could be so rude.

Frosty was a little taken back by the younger male but as Rain spoke she looked at her gently and shook his head. “ It’s ok Rain, don’t worry about it. ” He turned back to Diamond and gave a light bow of his head and a friendly smile. “ My name is Frosty. I meet you’re mother on the beach. I didn’t harm her at all, I wouldn’t do that. ”

Diamond ducked his head in embarrassment. "I'm sorry." He looked at his mother. 'She looks happy,' he thought to himself. "It's nice to meet you Frosty." He offered a shaky smile.
Rain nuzzled her son. "I thought I was supposed to be the protective one." Walking over to Frosty she smiled softly.

Frosty smiled at Rain and poked her nose gently with his paw. " Even the child has the right to be worried and protective of the mother. " Looking back to Diamond he smiled still. " It's nice to meet you as well Diamond. Oh and don't worry about it. Really. "

Rain wiggled her nose. "I guess your right." Turning to Diamond she frowned. "But worried and protective is no excuse for being rude."
Diamond hung his head even farther. "Yes, Mother." He inched his way to Frosty and hid behind him. "So what are your plans for the rest of the day?" he asked hoping to get her attention on something else. "Mothers can be scary," he whispered to Frosty.

Frosty watched as the younger red, green and white male moved to hide behind him. He shook as he chuckled silently as the boys words about mothers being scary. He'd actually never had one of his own she he didn't know of such things but he gathered they could be. " Well I'm not sure if we really had plans for the rest of the day. Was there something else the lovely lady wanted to do? " He turned and looked back to Rain.

Frosty's smile sofened even more as he gazed upon Rain. He, unlike Diamond, thought she looked cute with that thoughtful expression in her face. He nodded at Diamond's suggestion as he glanced at the boy. " That sounds like a good idea. What do you think Rain? "

“Wonderful idea Diamond, maybe we’ll even find a sand dollar.” Rain brush Frosty as she went past him. “What do you think Frosty?, there supposed to be lucky.”
Diamond rolled his eyes. ‘She’s acting like a kid,’ he thought amused. Tuning sadly to go he called back. “Have fun.”
