Barry smiled slowly. Hmm. He had a funny urge all of a sudden. Maybe later.

"It is." Taavi grinned. He reached over with his free hand, tickling Barry's side.
"And, as delightful as this is, we should probably look at the food." Though, Barry was a bit more delectable than any fresh fruit.

Barry nodded and lead Taavi to a stand holding fresh fish on ice.
"Do you eat fish?" Oh, Barry. Merman. Merman.

"Oh, yes." Taavi smiled, like it wasn't an obvious question. "I'll eat just about anything."

Barry inclined his head then. He offered out a handful of gold, all he had to use at the moment, and stepped back. He wasn't good with people. Or haggling. Mostly people.

Taavi smiled and took the gold, knowing that the silly man wouldn't hear of him paying for his lunch. He moved to the woman at the stand, chatting. He talked for a few minutes, haggling the price down, then returned to barry with his change and fish.
"Now... Fruit." He said, looking about.

Barry did a little 180 and peered around. Summer fruits were his favorite, after all...
"Hm. There?" he asked, pointing to a stand laden with peaches and strawberries.

Taavi gave a salute and repeated the process of chatting and haggling, returning again with a bag of fruit. Hey, he liked it too.
"Anything else you can think of wanting?"

Taavi grinned, throwing a free arm around Barry and pulling him close.
"Trust me, I wouldn't live somewhere without one nearby." Old habits died hard. "To the car, then!"

Taavi grinned up at him, again resisting the urge to give him a little face peck. He opened his door for him, storing the food in the back seat.
"Here you are, sir." He said cheerily. Yay, beach~

Taavi again returned to the driver's seat, heading out of town. He hummed slightly as he drove.
"So, how good of a swimmer are you, Barry?" He asked, grinning. Never hurt to check.
