If you want to add a prize option, perhaps you could base it on a random number or result of a dice roll. It still seems like bribery to me, but I'm lawful good, and we just tend to think things like that.

Oh, I don't enjoy shackling prisoners to walls...that's just part of the job.
I enjoy hitting prisoners with this 2x4 with nails sticking out of it that I got in the Dungeon, though!
But only prisoners that cause trouble.
