"I really hope that guy over there doesn't ralph. That would be so disgusting, wouldn't it?" Sapphy looked around the waiting room but jerked his head to look at a door that opened by the receptiondesk. "Look! I think the doctor is finally ready. Maybe it's gonna be you they're calling."

"Alright. I'm going in capt'n." Nic mumbled as he got to his feet and made his limping way over to the doctor who was calling out his name from a clipboard.
It wasn't the most invasive of solutions, the doctor gave Nicodemus a few painkillers, slapped a bandage around his paw and told him to stay off it for a while. Nic was in and out of the doctor's office in little under fifteen minutes. He paid for the consultation with the kitsu at the front desk and searched the room for Saphy.

Sapphy stared at the door that Nico had disappeared behind. He hated waiting rooms. His friend had only been gone a few minutes and already he was bored. He perked up when the door opened, hoping it was Nico. But no.... it was only.... "Goh? What are you doing here?"
The multi-patterned kitsu looked up in surprise. "Sapphirio? I was here for my annual check-up. What are you doing here? We have to all but drag you kicking and screaming for your annual check-up, and its nowhere near time for it."
"Me? Oh. I....uhm..... I met a friend while I was out sunning myself. And I... well..... I tried teaching him how to climb trees......"
"Oh no. You didn't."
Sapphy nodded sheepishly. "I did. And he... uh... well.... he isn't very good at it and he hurt his paw..... So we came to get it checked out."

Nicodemus found the kitsu he was searching for talking to another. His ears perked up as he looked at this new Kitsu's beautifully patterned fur. Nicodemus loved artwork like that. His tail curling around his leg he pattered closer to Saphy, trying his best not to limp too noticably.
"Hey... the doc said it would be alright..." He glanced over at *Goh* curiously, but quickly looked away so he didn't appear rude or to be staring.

Sapphy looked up at his friend as he came in. "Ah! Nico! It went well I see. I have someone I want to introduce you to. THis here is my brother so to speak. His name's Goh. Goh, this is the friend I was telling you about. His name's Nicodemus, but you can call him Nico."
"It is nice to meet you Nicodemus. My name is Goh. I am terribly sorry about your first meeting with my brother. He never does seem to know when to stop. He tells me he is the cause for you needing to visit the doctor." Goh looked over the new arrival, admiring his jacket. He did so love nicely made clothing.

"it wasn't Saphiro's fault- really. I'm a bit of a bookworm and I spend all the time in doors, so I'm not the best at climbing or well.... anything involving physical exertion..." Of any kind, really.
His tail swished with something akin to interest as he tilted his head, glancing at this new kitsu with a badly desguised curiosity. Goh's markings were fascinating- like a kabuki actor- and the colours were very vibrant. Was he some sort of magical Kitsu? Did he know the sort of secrets that Nicodemus was searching for? His ears twitched nervously.

Goh nodded his acceptance at Nico's explanation. "If you say so. I just know that my brother tends to attract trouble of that sort."
"Hey!!! I do not."
"Are you trying to tell me that it wasn't your insistence at him learning to climb that he's hurt?"
"Well..... no.... but......"
Goh just shook his head and turned back to Nico. "There is nothing wrong with being someone who loves books. I, myself, like books. I do have to keep in shape however, as the stage can be very demanding."

Nicodemus' hope at having found a magical kitsu seemed crushed, until he realized that possibly the stage was a magician. His ears fluttered with the wavering of his emotional roller-coaster for a minute before he shifted from paw to paw.
"I don't tend to get out all that much- normally." Although with his calloused paws and the dirt and dust in his tail, that didn't seem to be the case at all. "What sort of books do you read? I love history books and reading about scientific facts." He'd seemingly forgotten that Saphiros was there at all.

"I don't blame you for not getting out. I don't like to much either. I don't have many friends either, most people I meet often think that I spend far too much time practicing my roles." He glanced over at his brother. "I think if not for the Sparkling Wonder here I would not get out as much as I do."

Nicodemus chuckled as he glanced back and forth between the two men. He padded toward the door as he spoke. "Hah, my sisters are a bit like that..." he laughed quietly to himself. "So active and excitable. When sometimes, I just like my peace and quiet." He chuckled, but the sound slowed steadily as he looked at Goh. "You know how it is?"

"Yeah. I suppose I do. I have also a little sister who just recently grew up. But dealing with her as a kit....." Goh shook his head. "It was troublesome. At least Saphirio here didn't add to the chaos, but rather helped keep her under control."
Sapphy looked mildly hurt. "See? I know how to behave. I just know how to have fun."
"I know. I am sorry that I made you think that. I meant nothing bad by it brother. Now come, shall the three of us go and get out of here? Leave the space to people who need to see the doctor?"

Nicodemus chuckled again and nodded his head, pawing open the door and doing his little hobble-walk outside. "I could really go for a cup of tea, I don't know about you guys..."
He ruffled his wings, folding them down against his back as he looked around the busy streets.

Goh nodded. "That actually sounds really good. I would love to get some tea." He looked over at his brother. "How about you? Are you coming too?"
Sapphy eyed his new friend his brother suspiciously. They seemed to be getting rather close..... Maybe...... No. He would not allow it. Not until he had made sure Nico was good enough for his brother. No, definitely no alone time for the two of them. "Of course i'm coming. Not gonna let you two have fun without me, that's for sure."

Nicodemus swished his tail happily and pranced (or limped rather,) toward the door, "I know a great place that sells all sorts of teas. I like herbal teas myself. What about you, Goh, Saphiro?" He asked, chatting innocently enough. He could talk about tea, it was a subject that didn't cause him distress and while small-talk wasn't his forte, he was making an effort. He wanted to know more about this Goh. Well they'd only just met... but still.

He smiled and nodded. "I agree. Herbal teas can be quite nice indeed. I don't know about Saphirio here though. He never seems to like them whenever he steals my teas." He followed Nicodemus as he limped his way down the street.
"Hey! It's not my fault they all taste like grass. But your other ones.... I dunno. There has got to be something to these teas that you like so much, right?"
