"ALRIGHT!" Noirimex shouted. "LETS GET THIS THING ON THE ROAD!"

Zeximkanec looked out into the beautiful twilight, and remembered, "Oh, I forgot, I need to get some money to go to the beach today!" Quickly he put his clothes on: A gray and orange sleeved shirt, with grey blue pants and black shoes. He ran out the front door into the golden city. "Hmm, maybe I'll do grandstanding, or mail carrying?" He thought to hmiself.

Nikupo started loading his ship with items when another moogle appeared at the hanger door and approached him. "Hey what's up Kupopo, Kupo?" He called out to the moogle "Oh we're just gonna come say you good bye, kupo!" Kupopo answered and a about nine other moogles appeared and surrounded him. "Howdy everyone, thanks for coming, kupo!" He called out to all of them, there was Mog, Stiltzkin, Kupopo, Kupop, Kupo, and multiple other moogles. They all gave him something, elixirs, potions, and whatnot. Stiltzkin gave him a nice new blade which glowed with magic. After saying good bye he hopped into his ship. He called it... Ragnarok. He set off into the space between the worlds, wondering where he should go next.

Zeximkanec decided on Grandstanding, because he was good at it. He took the job up for money, and also to give people a show. "Hmm, a duel contest?" he read on the flyer. "Whoever keeps the ball up longest wins 500 munny...I wonder who my challenger is?" Zeximkanec questioned. He goes to the section of town where the people gathered waiting for him to start. The person he knew that hung around Rai and Fuu was the challenger: Seifer. "Um, I have come to compete" Zeximkanec said. "Hmph, a loser like you won't defeat me" Seifer said. "Oh yeah, well if I win, you have to admit that you are the most ignorant person in the world, for a week" Zeximkanec says sounding confident. "Never gonna happen. If I win though, which is innevitable, you have to go find the journal of the person who lived in the Old Mansion and bring it to me" Seifer said. The Mansion? That place was rumored to have monsters inside it, I have to win Zeximkanec thought. "Deal" they both said.

The announcer for the small competition spoke, "Alright, the first person to have his ball touch the ground is out! Have fun and begin!"

Zeximkanec struck his ball into the air, and so did Seifer. They both hit the balls up high into the air. Both of them landing multiple hits and having the crowd cheer. Seifer was tiring out, but Zeximkanec was managing. Seifer took it upon himself and jumped up near Zeximkanecs ball and hit it down onto the ground hard. Zeximkanec was shocked at this, "Hey that's cheating!" He shouted. The announcer spoke up, "Oh, to bad, anything goes for the rules keep your ball up. Seifer wins!". Seifer looked pretty proud of himself at the moment, "Seifer's the best ya know?" Rai said. "Undefeated" Fuu remarked. I can't believe I lost Zeximkanec thought to himself. "Hm, looks like you have to get something for me" Seifer says. Zeximkanec looks at him detesting, "...Fine". Zeximkanec turns and slowly heads towards the Old Mansion.

Xai watched the exciting battle between Seifer and Zeximkanec intently. It was even better because there was a bet. The old mantion? Xai had heard the whole story behind that place. Her eyes widened. He was actually going to do it? Xai had to see this, so she followed behind in secret.
