The walker stumbled as one of its six legs were blown out. Shifting locomotion algorithm.....Done. 10% loss of mobility sustained. It answered Chen's bullets with a projectile of its own.

Aiming a shot just above the man, it fired a second rocket, which arced upwards. In a few seconds, it would come arcing down where Chen was standing.

Anyone particularly observant might have, at this point, noticed the logo on it's side: a partially faded Cat's Cradle logo, smeared with dry blood.

The rocket was fired, but before he could start running away or anything, it arcs itself upward, straight into the air, noticing a logo on it. He knew eventually it was going to come back down, so raising his left arm upwards, he aims and fires another shot, hoping to blow it out of the sky before it has a chance of coming down to explode on them. His right arm, however, kept the second gun aimed forward at another one of its legs. Speaking of legs, Chen was starting to make his move, running to the right as he would decide to strafe the walker to make it harder to hit him with anything. But even while running, he was capable of keeping his eye on what he wanted to hit. Just a few more seconds and he'll have another mind-powered bullet ready to fire.

Considering all Allen was doing was observing, he noticed the faded image, though he couldn't tell what it was from this distance.

The answer? Summon his katana into his hand, and begin charging energy into the blade, so he could do some damage the the machine, His goal? Actually to cut the plating with the image out of the robot, to inspect.

He'd have to wait a turn for that, though.

After panting and recovering for a little bit longer, Eileen straightened up and peered past the wall she had landed behind. Part of an industrial storehouse it seemed. The walker was there, being shot at and...was that Athan? She blinked. Big sword. Check. Big man. Check. No space elves with him though.

She rushed over to Bryant's and Sam's position, holding onto her bag carefully as she did so, and when she arrived, said, "...orders, sir?"

Gambion opened his eyes and took his arms out from in front of his face. He was lying on the ground some distance away from the fight. He saw the missile launch and scooted backwards on the ground, it was time to see if he could launch some payback.

Gambion was good at manipulating the surroundings and using circumstances to his advantage. The rocket-thing was already arching down, all it needed was a bit more of a push and maybe he could turn this around.

Gambion gave the rocket a good push on one side, forcing it to loop more than it was intended to. Forces being independent on the X and Y axis and all that, hopefully it would loop all the way around and hit the scuttling robot.

"Protect her!" He yelled to Eileen before picking up his pace to catch up with what was going on. He was fairly healthy given his age, and even as he ran, he dug into his side holster for his own gun, although he wasn't going to do anything as stupid at Chen with trying to stop a missile with a gun bullet.

"BRYANT!" Sam screamed after him, before giving Eileen a glare. "I don't need protecting, but his dumb a** might." She lifted the rifle over her head, and began walking steadily towards the 'enemy' as well.

"Right now, I'd say orders are to protect yourself and get close enough to do damage if you can."

All was silent in the storage building, just some dust and the sound of metal rattling around. And then...

Athan's foot planted on the edge of the building, and he looked down at the walker from above. His chest was sore, blood welled up in his throat, and the fingers of his left hand, the only real exposed portion of his upper body, were bleeding pretty badly as well.

But they were also holding onto the Rook's Destroyer, and that thing was all he really needed. He didn't look too concerned with his wounds, he just looked pissed. His eyes tracked downward, and he waited for the walker to get just close enough...

Pressing off his right foot, he jumped, bringing the sword in front of his body as he pointed the tip straight downward.

"YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"

And thus ends the picture-aided portion of this scene.

"Uh..." Okay. Protect Sam, or protect Bryant, or protect himself, or.. Guy bleeding on the ground.

Let's go help the guy bleeding on the ground. "Oi, you... alright?" Lahren ran off towards Kael, noticing the blood coming from his leg. "Oh, uh... guess not."

All Aiolos really can do is watch. He never had to down a giant robot before. A twister could work, but he needed a little break from his shrapnel cleanup move. It was hard to work in a tight space like this. He moved up forward to the next building, still a far way off from the robot.

He caught his breath and watched as a man wielding a giant sword come down on the giant mech. Aiolos also noted the rocket that Gambion was redirecting towards the robot.

Aiolos made a face. Ooooooh, this is going to hurt.

The many forces acting on the rocket interfered with it--the mind-powered bullet, the mind powers, and it's own computer-guided propulsion. The rocket didn't turn completely, but sensing that it was veering off course, it exploded mid-air, showering shrapnel on those who had remained nearby.

Meanwhile, the walker backed up rapidly, using its disabled legs to shield its other legs from Chen's bullets. Firing another thermal blast at the ground in front of it, it blew a cloud of gravel in front of it, ramming butt-first against a warehouse behind it.

Busting through the wall, it charged into the building, seeking to escape its enemies' superior numbers--and dragging Athan with it, unable to do anything about that menace.

Meanwhile, the attempt to knock it over with moss would have been avoided--the walker was specifically designed to handle any sort of terrain, even rapidly changing ones.

And...Accelerate. Allen's body would be a blur to everyone else, as he launched himself towards the walker, before it made it into the building. He would aim himself towards the logo, and if his energy enhanced blade could, he would cut the area around the logo off letting the plate of metal fall to the ground.

If it didn't work he'd be dragged along with Athan but if it did he would be left, likely near the building, standing next to the plate of metal.

He didn't hear Lahren. He didn't even see his companion or a moment.

After a second, Kael caught sight and blinked rapidly, trying to clear his eyes.

"-tweezers!" he rasped, motioning down at his leg with his head. Chances were no one had them but...

"Shrapnel. Pull it out."

There wasn't much he could do himself, his fingers and knife far too big to reach into the tiny wound. He was just applying pressure to minimize bleeding until he could get the piece of metal out and wrap some real bandages over his leg.

Athan hadn't really planned very far ahead, so as soon as he punched his sword through the top of the walker, he just sort of hung on for dear life as the walker rapidly backed up through a warehouse. It was tricky business, because the surface wasn't exactly meant to be stood on and they just went through a building.

If the walker ever stopped thrashing about wildly, Athan would hold onto the hilt of his sword with his left hand and start working on widening the hole with his right hand.

Maybe, if he got lucky, he'd find some sort of important wiring to yank out. Or a CPU, or a new sword.

Something that wouldn't shoot him, hopefully.

Chen was fortunately running, so avoided most of the shrapnel, his coat taking the hits from the remaining of it, though he kept his eyes on the robot, seeing it intelligently protecting itself with the remaining limbs that had their knees blown off, he tries to find another target on it. Then he sees Athan come down from above and stab into it.

"Woah....big guy can jump." But then debris is shot up by an attack from the robot as it goes crashing into the building behind it. Since he didn't really want this thing running around, he goes chasing after it, aiming once again as he runs through the smokescreen, aiming for two legs, one with each gun. With enough energy charged into his ammunition, he releases yet another two shots, hoping to take out two knees at once.

Oh.

"Anybody got tweezers, or, uh.... Anything that can pull out shrapnel? I'm not exactly a doctor!"

Lahren got to play combat medic while everyone else chased the big thing through a building or two. He was probably the lucky one.
