Joruri nods and watched her hands move to unsnap his shirt. He turned his head away, waiting for the silk fabric to be torn from his body. But hearing and feeling the gentle snaps of each one and how kind she was being to him caused him to flush and turn to look at her.

"Joruri not very strong...but he will grow strong for Idhril...he will give his life for her..." He wanted to stroke her cheek and show affection for the one who had saved him but his hands remained above his head clasped around his wires. He did not want to move and get in her way.

He just lay there in awe at her gentle touch. She must be wanting to be a doctor...maybe he could serve her as a test dummy. He was sure he could grow organs for her and blood and all that would be needed to test medicine.

As she lifted his shirt she would see a body as pale as the rest of him, it was soft and smooth like freshly sanded wood, cool to the touch but would warm quickly at her touch. There were no markings except a large, seemingly painted, scar across his left breast.

Idhril finished unsnapping his shirt and gently lifted it from his skin, setting it aside so that it wouldn't get dirty or be in the way while she examined him. His skin was ... different from most peoples' ... soft and smooth yes but ... somehow ... different ... yet as she touched him she could feel him growing warm beneath her fingertips, and she couldn't help but feel as if she were giving him life, making him real ...

Her golden eyes grew wide when she spotted the scar across his chest, and she reached forward with both hands and brushed her fingers across it gently.

"What happened?" she asked tenderly, her tone worried and sad as she looked up at him again. "You're ... hurt ... but not from the tree ..."

It looked so painful ... and old ... such an old wound ...

"Did your old master hurt you?" she asked, inching closer to him so that she could lean across him and peer at the scar more closely.

Joruri could feel heat filling his body as she touched him. She was so full of life. He was so wrapped up in her touch that he didn't hear the first part of his comments. He blushed a bit as she leaned over to look at it closer. Though he new it was innocent and she was worried his mind slid back into the darkness and his fingers tighten around his wires.

"I...um....Joruri does not remember..." his eyes snapped back to her. "Joruri does not hurt..." He said softly his tone worried because of the worry in her voice.

It was jagged and across the entire pecks. It was a pale pink and to the touch it was indented into his skin. Though it was jagged the edges of it were rounded. He watched her and blushing smiled. "T..thank you Mistress Idhril, you are too kind..."

Idhril frowned, but not at Joruri - at the pain that he would have felt when he had incurred the injury, and at the person that might have inflicted it upon him.

"Poor Joruri," she murmured softly, running her fingers carefully, lightly over his wound. "That's so sad ..."

Not knowing had to be worse than knowing if it was something bad. She lifted her hand to her mouth and kissed the tips of her fingers, then pressed the kiss gently to the scar, smiling faintly at him.

"I'll do my best to make you better," she promised him softly, "no matter what it takes."

Joruri felt her soft words pierce into him. Against his will a soft gasp escaped his lips as she give the scar an indirect kiss. "Mi...mistress Idhril...p...please do not be sad...Mistress can save Joruri.." he moved a hand down to rest it on her shoulder. "Joruri is unharmed..."

He gave her a soft smile though and his voice was just as soft. He started to sit up..."Wings work....no pain..." he tried to reassure her. Why did he get to be with such a good master and friend. He would try so hard not to disappoint her.
PostPosted: Sun Jun 01, 2008 10:58 pm

Idhril blinked, surprised at his gasp, and she drew her hands away with a jerk.

"Um ... okay," she said nervously, calming a bit when he put his hand on her shoulder. She watched his wings for a moment, and then she smiled at him, calm once more. "Okay," she murmured again, confidently this time. "You're okay."

And she put her arms around him and hugged him around the neck, glad that he was fine.

But now she had her own wounds to worry about. Yes, she had looked at her hands, but what about her legs? Her shins and inner thighs were scraped from climbing the tree, and she was certain that she had to have pieces of bark in the scrapes.

She sat on the ground next to Joruri and lifted her skirt slightly, exposing her torn and bloody shins.

"Oh boy," she murmured softly. "If only I had some water to wash them with ..."

Joruri smiles at her and kisses her hand. "May Joruri touch his vase Mistress Idhril? Joruri wishes to help Mistress Idhril..." he looked at her legs and winced. She had hurt herself so for him.

He placed his hand on the side of her knee. I looked so painful. He wanted nothing more to help her. He had to help her like she did him. He looked at her worried. He would make it up to her some how. He hoped for her sake it would not scar too much.

Idhril flushed when Joruri kissed her hand, but she smiled back at him warmly.

"Of course you can touch your vase, Joruri," she told him softly. "You don't have to ask me permission for that ... it is yours, after all, not mine ..."

She winced slightly when he put his hand on her knee, but she fought not to show how much her legs were hurting her. She had always been the type to hide when she was hurting, she didn't want others worrying about her, she preferred worrying about other people. But she could see in his eyes that he was worried, whether she showed it or not ...

She smiled again and put her hand over his. "I'll be all right, Joruri," she murmured softly, confidently. "It's just a bit dirty, I just have to clean it a bit, that's all, and then I'll be so good you wouldn't even know anything had happened."

And she tried to rise to her feet so that she could go outside and find some water, but a clap of thunder reminded her that it was still storming, and therefore not a good idea to go out. She stood there, holding Joruri's hand and staring out into the storm, and once more her heart began to pound in her chest.

Joruri shook his head, "Joruri's vase is Mistress Idhril's vase..." He looked at her golden eyes. The eyes that he was growing to need to do anything just for them to look at him with her joy. "It is true....Mistress Idhril is only one...who touch vase." he turned his hand to take ahold of her instead of resting on her sore leg.

"Anything Joruri can get to....use Mistress Idhril's pain?" he could see her fear of the storm returning and debated wrapping her up in his arms and keeping her safe or getting water to clean her wounds. He rubbed her hand inside of his as he tried to work out which he need to respond to more.

"Joruri will protect Mistress Idhril...no more harm will come to her...." He tried to smile to reassure her.

Idhril's small, delicate hand was swallowed up in Joruri's, and she smiled up at him.

"Well, if it's up to me to say who may touch it," she murmured softly, "then I'm giving you permission to touch it any time you need to, or any time you want to, or any time you have a reason, okay? You don't have to ask me, you can touch it and hold it."

She squeezed his hand and smiled warmly at him. "You're my friend, okay? My friend. Not a servant or a slave, but my very good and very special friend."

There was another flash of lightning, and she pressed closer to Joruri. "Maybe after the storm we can go get some water together?" she asked softly.

Joruri nods, "Joruri mistress Idhril's friend...and protector." He pulled her close to him wrapping his wings around her. "Mistress Idhril Joruri get water...." he gently let her go. "Wait here..."

He stood up and moved to pick up his vase though he almost looked pained to do it but he moved to the entrance of the cave and allowed his vase to start filling with water. This way she could clean herself in the sheather of his arms. He just wished there were a way he could stop the pain.

He sighed as he thought, hopping the water would hurry and fill. Once it was almost completely full he moved back into the warm cave. "Joruri bring water....Mistress Idhril can fix self." He smiled warmly at her again.

Idhril blinked and tried to stop Joruri, not wanting him to go - but when he moved to the mouth of the cave she shied back, not wanting to go anywhere near the storm. She sat at the edge of the cave, near the wall, far away from the thunder and the lightning, while she waited for Joruri to return to her. She was worried for him, but she wasn't going to stop him from doing what he wanted, needed, to do.

When he returned to her, she was so relieved that she jumped to her feet and threw her arms around him.

"Don't go into the storm again, okay?" she told him softly. "I don't want anything to happen to you ... storms are dangerous!"

She helped him lower the vase of water to the ground, then took his hand and sat him down as well. "You rest," she smiled, "and now I can wash myself up nicely. Thank you, Joruri."

Joruri looked at his mistress a little confused. He had not ment to make her worry. "I wont mistress Idhril...Joruri just wanted to help clean your wounds."

He lowered the vase with her help and felt a blush flow over his cheeks as she guided him to sit next to her her small hand around his larger one. "Joruri not leave Mistress Idhril again..." he promised and moved to stroke a strand of her jet black hair out of her face.

He motioned to the water. "Shall Joruri...clean wound....he promises to be very gentle with his Mistress..." he looked at her his hand still holding hers warmly.

Idhril smiled shyly at Joruri as he brushed her hair to the side, and she nodded slowly at his suggestion.

"I trust you, Joruri," she told him sincerely, squeezing his hand as well as she could manage, trying to make him feel comforted. "I know you will take very good care of me."

She smiled again and sat on the floor, legs out in front of her, and pulled her skirt up around her knees, revealing the torn and bloody skin on her shins.

"Just tear off a bit of my dress," she told him softly, "it's all wrecked anyways ... and get it all wet and wash the wound."

Joruri bowed his head and kissed the top of her injured hand, he let it go to move it down to the skirt of her dress. He felt the darkness filling his mind as both hands took ahold of the fabric and he could hear it tearing.

Images flashed into his mind and he had to fight to make the tearing smooth and gentle. But once he did he moved the clothe to the pure clean water to fill it with the cool refreshing liquid.

he wanted to hold her hand as he worked but he did need too hands to clean the wound and make sure he did not hurt her too much. "Does Mistress Idhril wish to be in Joruri's lap...it would be more comfortable than the ground?"

He looked at her dark skin stained in blood and bark. Her beautiful body and soul should never be so pained!
