Clone Yami a_shy_girl_1999 Camron Flamheart General Tso Camron Flamheart People, think of it this way. If they only wanted 18+ to be in Beta, do you think they'd still put 17- age groups in the survey? Do you think they'd even allow the public to use the survey? Do you seriously think they'd let the vast majority of Gaia miss out? Qixter hinted that secrets would leak from Beta testing, 18+ or not. And even so, you can't keep little people away from everything. So, I actually think that that's only another one of those rumors that came out of an idiot's brain. The Beta Testing most likely won't have age requirements, just as it's likely that no one can hold secrets forever So seriously, stop being so negative. Yes. I'm sorry, I immediately thought that. I only heard from the MOD in charge of SCAS that all Beta Testers were required to sign NDAs. Forgive me for my idiocy. And on that, I am stopping my discussion on this. Think what you like, it makes no difference to the Devs. Ya know what, SCAS can think what it may, but I'm going to ask Qixter for the final word on it. That way, we'll all know the answer.I have been posting in the Battle forum and there is a thread in there called the quoteatariam and it has actual quotes from Quixer. Here one: Quote: "Qixter's Profile" You will not have to be 18 to sign up for beta. More details on how we're handling it instead of having an NDA later...but you can bet that it includes saying "If you leak info, kiss your account goodbye." So safe to say their going to handle it another way? But as far as SCAS, You have it the wrong way. You didn't have to go to a convention. Gaia will sometimes put announcements in the Feedback and there was once a big thing over it in the GCD. It was not a site wide announcement .. it was just in the feedback from what I heard. (don't quote me, lol, this is just the information that I had gotten, correct me if I am wrong, please!). In order to even apply to be an actual beta tester for the site you DO have to be 18+ to sign the NDA to make the agreement legal and binding. And it is true that the actual beta testers are hand picked from what others have told me. I was right that they want any age group but I am now scared at the losing this account. I should of never signed up for it. I'm screwed. if you get pick - as long as you don't leak info you will be fine.

They will probably have some parental agreement in order to have someone be a beta tester if they're under 18. I doubt they'll have very many of them, but they might have a few.

I'm sure there are other ways that they might be able to do it, but who knows.
Of course, it's just a guess of mine since I don't really know.

Of course, it's just a guess of mine since I don't really know. I suppose that would work. Or they could just threaten to ban anyone who leaks. Make sure that the people who they let in have been around a while and have a reason not to want to lose their stuff and that could work out fairly well. Again though, limited numbers. I think just for ease most of the testers will be 18+

And they might just get rid of the accounts and allow you to make a new one but it can't be a beta tester. Or they would just banned the account and I.P. Address. I want no legal contract to sign by parents or me just yet.

Gaia never said you have to be 18+ in order to be a tester.
I don't think they would miss that important detail if it was true. Never have before..
That means.. THERE IS STILL HOPE!

I'll shut up now xd You might want to use a vacuum to get her hope. It will be easier and if I become a beta tester it might conflict with my trip to Cancun this summer but hope not.
