That's not what I said at all, you silly fool. *Says with a note of fondness in her voice, pausing to flip through the paperwork in her hands to make certain she has all of it*

*Muffled exclamation behind the door, Harry having been alerted of their walking up and waiting, sounds of things being run into, squeaking noises, popping noises, a loud noise that sounds like loud, drawn out farting, some stamping, some 'oofs!', a few swears, and a general sound of surprised mayhem*
*Opens the door, looking ruffled with his wand gripped in his hand, confetti in his hair and looking a bit harassed (truthfully he'd just sort of forgot to uh.... have an obvious homecoming party thing set up...... he and Godfrey had been making a 'special' dinner, all the things Gilderoy liked, but other than that........ had kinda forgotten about doing anything else, having spent the most part of the week readying the house and trying to get at least two weeks off*
Aaah..... *Opens the door all the way, the smell of a delicious meal wafting out, there was a slightly crooked and obviously hastily erected 'Welcome home!' sign, a number of dead balloons on the floor, but at least 30 floating around, and a hasty amount of paper confetti had been shot from his wand to make things look somewhat festive*
........ welcome..... welcome!! *Puts on a grin, running a hand through his hair and causing the confetti squares to pop into the air and settle down around his shoulders, mostly*
..... Madame Pomphrey. G-Gilderoy.

MMmmphmm! *Flails a moment, surprised, but then lets it happen, furrowing his brows lightly but trying not to close his eyes*
*Moves his hands up to set them lightly on Gilderoy's waist, trying not to appear as awkward as he felt*
*Breaks away after a few moments, taking a deep breath*
Welcome, ah.. back. The kids are excited...... excited to see you! *Raises his voice at the end, hoping the kids would rush out and.. well.. save him for the moment*

*Takes a step back, turning to the side so they could enter the house*
It wasn't any trouble. The kids and a friend of mine helped.
*Rubs the back of his neck, still looking slightly awkward, but Harry was, at best, able to convincingly play dead. He wasn't much of an actor otherwise*
Would you like to stay for lunch, Poppy? *Looks up at the ceiling and clears his throat, either admiring the high ceiling of the foyer, looking for heavenly guidance, or avoiding Poppy's eyes so he wouldn't be tempted to get on his knees and beg her to stay*
Ah.... Godfrey's making cornish hens. Kiddo makes a good meal.

Really, Harry, haven't you learned anything from all these years in the press? *Frowns* "Harry Lockhart seeks company of male friend while husband - attractive and talented author Gilderoy Lockhart - suffers, alone, in hospital." Are those the headlines you want in the paper? Tsk! *Sweeps into the house*

*Was about to open his mouth and likely start arguing with Gilderoy, but then freezes. PAPERS?? HEADLINES? Oh dear, he hadn't thought of that. All photos and all other 'evidence' was removed from the house, but what about a paper? One stupid owl could blow everything to pieces! One article along the lines of 'Potter's husband, lover, and all their children living under the same roof' could ruin everything! Gilderoy would never remember, never get better, and never be able to live on his own!*
*Is patted on the shoulder, and sways lightly, nodding*
... if... if you would just follow me into the sitting room. Lunch won't be ready for about- *checks his watch* .. fifteen minutes.
*Closes the front door, trying to ignore how ominous that little click sounded, and leads them over to a door on the right, turning the knobs on the large double doors and pushing them open, revealing the very large and very nicely decorated sittingroom*
*Takes a deep breath, but isn't sure how to answer Gilderoy, because he'd have to reveal there was someone living with them, and that he had a job, and a few other things, without fudging it all up*
*Decides not to answer right now, and only sighs in an exasperated way*
((Sittingroom: Fireplace smack dab in the middle of the far wall. Three large couches placed around it with a coffee table inbetween. There's two small tables with chairs near the back window for taking tea or eating a small breakfast, a large piano, bookshelves for decoration with signed/rare tomes and signed things on shelves. Basically just to make a guest comfortable, and at the same time tell them everything they needed to know about the occupants of the house, career wise and a bit of hobby wise. xD Gilderoy's books are always put out and stuff.))
