My sister asked me to get her one of the dresses for her birthday so I did...
but while I was deciding which one to get for her, I decided I actually liked a couple of them... so ... yay?
As for prom, I didn't go to mine, and don't miss not having gone...
but this dance thing might be fun... so yeah. :3

Eruravenne You guys... you're doing it again... crying Why does it have to be a horrible thing just because of what it's called? I never had a prom because I was homeschooled, but I always wanted to go to one. I probably didn't actually miss much, but still... The closest thing I had was my 18th birthday party with mostly old people from my church that I barely knew but had to invite because I didn't have any friends. emo Also, I adore Christian Siriano. I think his designs are great. I think it's amazing that he's actually designed items for Gaia and I'm buying every one of them as soon as I get more money. Project Runway is one of... maybe two or three reality shows I actually enjoy. Sigh... you guys are such a bunch of party poopers. Who cares if they call it a prom? It's probably just going to be exactly the same as every other Gaia party. A forum full of spam. And now I'm not happy anymore... Thanks. You didn't miss much. The proms are usually at one of the casinos, usually MS but that's just because it was closer to our school.

Proms are fun when done right. I went to my Jr. Prom recently and since there was no drunk people, seinors trying to ruin it thats to all the cops, good music, and food, it was fun. It was either eating the snacks (we had a mini chocolate fountain) and danceing to the music. And the music was actual dance music too (tecno!) so it was fun.
I'm looking forward to the gaian prom.

Yeah. Where I live, they all listen to freaking awful music and essentially dry hump each other to it. I think prom is more of a "Let's all get laid!" thing to a "Yaaay! Party!" which makes the gaia one a bit inaccurate.

Party!" which makes the gaia one a bit inaccurate. You don't get laid or drunk at prom, that happens at the afterparties.

DracoDraconus jgk102490 DracoDraconus Dunno bout adult. If they are then they're pretty young adults. And theres more than enough teenagers bout that age among the users though. Older folks like me will have to just turn up, scare people and spike the punch. YOU ARE MY HERO. biggrin I am going to prom next year. Crimson is also going to his senior prom next year, or should be since he went to his junior prom this year. Glad to be of service. And I'm going to my girlfriends prom either next year or the year after depending on when she graduates and I will probably do exactly that if I can get away with it. With added making out in the corner with my gf... I never got a prom, my school didn't do them. England sucks sometimes.
That's your school, not your country - our prom is in July. ;D

For the dresses... well I kinda like them, but still have not spend any gold on them. The cape in the cash shop looks good to have and it kinda beats getting all the tickets for the Royal Cloak Red. Kinda of a rip off for the other people...

Allynna Vincente General Tso Any excuse for a party, I suppose. I don't mind it. At least Gaia is DOING a plot. I almost certainly prefer a regular down to earth (relatively) plot rather than OMG Vampires! I think though, I may have to take umbridge against how it could shape up. More Moira x Loius and I think I will blow their vampiric heads off myself. Oh, and Damian x Sasha. (To be honest, I could probably spin THAT one into an interesting plot though. Largely revolving around Sasha rejecting Ian cause he's a bloodsucker. And in the end, they'd learn absolutely nothing about tolerance or acceptance! Yay!) I will keep my hopes up as to what they proceed with. Though honestly, I wish they'd expand who they make their plots revolve around. (more a complaint about previous plots rather than pre-emptive complaints about this one. Like I said, I'm gonna keep my hopes up) Oh, and why must we nitpick? Semantics. Cause now if they retcon them all into school, it's going to screw with established canon. If they don't retcon them all into school, then it's silly they call it prom. Um, so you didn't like the Zurg plot? confused That was out of this world..... Nah, they were pretty original with the zurg plot. Well... for the most part. The love triangle and finale both... seemed lackluster, I guess. The Believers getting featured in the manga was cool (though by god, I still say we should have appeared with Glarg! Where's the love for the other groups admin! mad ) The Vampires one though, was so cliched, hackneyed, corny, contrived, and straightforward (not to mention how it MASSACRED some of the established characters) that it became a #1 suckfest. No pun intended. However, I will say that the event portion of it was enjoyable. The story parts of it were painfully bad for all reasons listed and that abomination of video animation. But it screwed up the Von Helsons, it kinda screwed up Ian (kinda) and it pretty well ruined Moira. The entire relationship arc of it made no sense at all (terrible pacing) and really could have been done better, if it should have been done at all!
