A deep growl erupted from Ryu. Her reply made him angry yet sorrowful. The anger is the side that chose to be untamable. He flicked his tail, knocking things over. "And being with me is any less dangerous?" His anger was clearly evident. Especially in his eyes. They burned an untold fury. He walked around the room, knocking things around un-itentionally with his tail. Ryu growled as he walked. The growls were angry but also had a hint of sadness. He hoped she couldn't tell he was sad. "A chance. That's all I ask for. A chance." He walked to where Exodus stood. He whispered into her ear. His velvet voice crooned, "By the way, saying no is not an option." He pulled away smiling his goofy smile.
"It's so fun! Are we gonna?" Lela asked. She was now an adult but was still sweet and outgoing.

Exodus was shocked but his reaction, to say the least. She glance at his face, scared at the fact his scarlet eyes burned with anger and frustration, all at her. She quickly looked away, not being able to stand those eyes or those painfully truthful words. Crystal tears rolled down her cheeks, a few landing on the moon-lit ground.
She looked at him again, tears in her eyes, and placed her head under his chin. Her ears lay flat against her head, so she could hear no more of his words, and few of the tears soaked into Ryu's creamy fur, but she didn't shy away from him as before, as she so longed to do. "I'm sorry.",, she whispered, silent tear making path-way down both of their fur.
"I'm so sorry, Ryu. I made you in pain and in anger because I was afraid to be true to my feelings. That I was too stupid and naive to interpet them correctly! The truth is, Ryu............. I love you too."
Starrla cheekily smiled at her apparently adult new friend. "Only if you want to!", she stated, wagging her tail playfully as if she were about to pounce on one of the glowing little buggers. It was considerably strange, but she felt like a kit again.
"I think I saw some of the shiny eye-sores over by a little pool of water, not very far from here!"

"It's okay" he whispered. "I still love you, no matter how you act or what you do. My love for you will never end" He watched her tears roll down their fur. His eyes were now soft, gentle, and sincere. His mood had shifted quickly. His tail wrapped around hers, and he decide it was time. He blushed so much his cheeks were red as cherries. Ryu leaned over and kissed her.
"Awesome! Let's go!" Lela liked Starrla, she was nice.

Exodus was shocked, to say the least. Over-coming her inital surprise, her gradually returned the kiss. She broke it in a few precious moments, staring deeply into his Rubian eyes. She looked away bashfully, prefering to stare at his creamy paws.
Starrla's smile grew wider at Lela's proclaim. If little devil horns could grow on a Modifox naturally, then at that moment, Starrla would have them! She liked Lela as well, feeling like an older sister as she did with Exodus, except they brought out different sides of her.
With Exodus, she felt like it was her duty to logical and pessimistic about every thing. But with Lela, she felt like any thing and every thing was possible if you set you mind to it! "Alrighty then!", she exclaimed to her new sister-friend, getting in a racing position.
"What do you say to racing there?!"

Ryu smiled as they broke away. "Thank you. So we are going to give us a try?" He saw her staring at his paws as he studied her face. He nuzzled her gently. "What am I gonna do with you?"
"I'd say you better get ready to lose!" Lela yelled as she left Starrla in race position, already off and running.

Exodus blushed darkly at his comments, still looking down. That is to say, until his muttered question. She quickly looked up, sending him a playful glare.
"Me?! You're you one that needs work! I mean, you're.......umm.......you're, uhhh........ Fluffy! Yeah! That's it! You're too dang fluffy! But, luckily for you, I know how to fix that!"
Annnnnnnnnnndddddd, that's about when she pounced him, knocking them both to the ground.
Starrla gaped as the black and silver streak sped through the forest. 'Lela might have more speed than me,' she thought, branching away from the new adult's choosen path, 'But I know more about the forest's geography and lay-out!'
With that knowledge, she sprinted the rest of the way to the clearing, coming to a hastey stop near the water's edge.

Ryu awaited and answer but realized he wasn't getting one. Exodus tackled him to the ground. He lay there under her paws, staring at her face. "That's the Exodus I've been missing. But really, you need more work." he spoke quieter. "Sweetie, one slip of the tongue causes you to have a major break down. Have you noticed?" Ryu tried to be playful again. "My fluffiness! No mess with my fluffy!" he took a paw and stroked her cheek fur softly. "I love you." he whispered in her ear and kissed her.
Lela finally arrived at the clearing, only to find Starrla had beaten her. "How'd you-?" She looked at her and then at the forest. "But- but I had a head start and everything..." She walked over and sat next to Starrla.

Exodus smiled sorrowfully down at him when he made a dark-humored jibe at the events partaining to both of them earlier that day. She kissed him back, and after it broke off, leaned in to whisper some thing important yet sad into his ear.
"We're gonna both have to be extra careful, then, if you really want to keep me....."
Starrla smiled slyly at the younger adult fox as she sat down beside her. "Knowledge of every thing and every one around you comes with age, Lela, never forget that." She sighed tiredly, waiting patiently for her frantic heart-rate to slow.
"One day, I will take you for a walk through forest. It will be in the morning, after the new rain. And after it, you will then understand how it is I beat you. I have taken Exodus through that path, and if you will let, I will do the same for you."
She quietly locked eyes with the young fox, Silver meeting Gold, as Gold tried to allow Silver to understand why it burned with the wisdom of many seasons past.

"Of course I want to keep you! After all this I hope you don't think I don't want you. I'll be careful if you will. I guess we need to set the limits so we don't push each other too far. My one condition is that you don't ever leave me." He whispered again. "I love you okay? Don't ever think I don't. And please, I don't want to send either of us into the pain we experienced today." He nuzzled her and gently lay her next to him. He kissed Exodus on the cheek. He stared at her for a while. He could stay like this forever.
Lela listened to Starrla. "Okay when that day comes we can go!"

Exodus smiled tiredly, dipping her head in understanding to his words. She yawned out of pure exaughustion from the eariler events, leaning on Ryu's fluffy cream-colored shoulder, sighing in contentment. "Mmmmmm....Warm and soft......Me sleepy......", she mummbled, sighing again quietly.
"I love you, Ryu. I will never leave you if I can help it......"
Then, dreams of their future together filled her mind, and she knew no more of that day.
(( Number of times Nature yawned typeing sentence number 2= 16.))
Starrla smiled to herself at Lela's excitement, reminising about Exodus's walk, and predicting about Lela's future one. Maybe it would be better than Exodus's walk?
Exodus, whom had only observed and listened, had never showed any interest in the subject.But, apparently she had been listening, for it could only be a well-informed Fox that could find a safe haven in a First Spring Storm. She gave a large sigh, staring out over to firefly-filled clearing.
"Yes....... Yes we shall."

Ryu smiled sweetly at his love. He kissed her cheek. "I love you, now get some sleep. Don't worry nothing will happen to you on my watch." He let her stay on his fur and sleep till morning.
He crooned a lullaby until she awoke the next morning, not getting any sleep for himself.
