He was about to open the list of who had dissapeared when he heard fokkusu's rant on the intercom. A quick flip of a switch and his speakers was back on. "Uh...boss, next time your gonna insult us, keep your speakers off so we don't have to hear." He flipped it off and went back to the list.

After several pages he stopped immediately and stared at the name of the latest team to dissapear. He quickly flipped on his speaker so the others could hear him. "Guys...you aren't gonna believe who went missing."

"...eh what the heck, it's not like we're enemies. More like rivals. Heres the frequency." He sent the guy their com frequency and turned back to the list. "Well guys...looks like fox mccloud and his team are the latest team to dissapear. Which means...all the good jobs are back!" Anyone who hadn't heard him would have thought him strange because of the little dance he was doing. "Uh uh! Goods jobs are back!"

"You just found that out? Its been all over the holos since I left. Name's Koudo and this ship here is my Fist."

He was glad they were friendly, most mercenaries were social outcasts that merced for some lowly cause, these guys seemed legit. The one up front seemed to be sensitive abotu his ship, obviously these guys were more expiernced pilots. Hopfully this job wasn't too competitive, maybe it was jsut a rumor and no relics were there at all. One thing was for sure though; Without Fox and his flunkies, things might get alot better for the mercenaries looking for work.

"Boss! Quit being rude, you even said there might be nothing there!" Oull glared madly at kokkusu and looked back at the huge ship. "Hey you got a group kodou? We could do with another team member."

He heard the sound of the halberd turning and put his wings over his ears. "Gagh, what is with that ship? It makes such a racket." He put his hands back on the control as they entered the meteor feild. A small one scratched his paint near the cockpit, leaving a black mark on the white body of the ship. "God dang it, I'm tempted to blow up these meteors now!"

"This is no time to talk to random people! We won't even be able to eat if we don't earn money off of this." Fokkusu saw Meteo approaching, although it still was very far, it was obvious he would be the first there. There where small asteroids floating around but they where of course no problems for the Shadow Striker. At these speeds however, it would be hard to maneuver within the Asteroid field.

"Nice to meet you McKnight, he is a McCloud? Explains alot about him. My name is Koudo Gonhor and I like it heavy. I only use heavy weaponry, sacrifices some speed, but makes up for it in fire power. Don't know why McCloud was worried about you, does that team have a hsitory with you Shadow? They seem to fear you, I thought it was your ship that striked fear into them at first."

This guy didn't seem to bad as those guys made him, of course he could be a deceiver. No matter, Koudo trusted him to an extent till he had proof of Shadow's trusrtworthiness. He treated Koudo alot better then that McCloud did. Koudo changed back his course, but closer to the Halberd. It was indeed a big ship, might have alot of strength within it.

Fokkusu was worried and interested all at the same time. He quickly started to tune to different channels to find the one that Shadow and Koudo where talking through. He found the channel right as Shadow mentioned the relics only confirming what he had feared.

"Tha-" Fokkusu almost spoke aloud before realizing he was on the same channel as they were. He quickly stopped himself and switched the com system off.
