"No problem." Damaris said returning the smile. They finally came to a dirt road, the main road into the forest preserve that lead back to the main street and sidewalks.
"See, it wasn't any trouble." She said as she started to walk up the dirt road at a casual pace turning to look at Valens. He had been so kind, and she had just met the boy. She was scared that when the thunderstorm came that he'd think she were a scaredy cat, or that she was a little wimp. But he had done the exact opposite, he had comforted her and tried to console her. He had even seemed thrilled at the smallest little things like her art. She really didn't think a whole lot about it but seeing that he had liked his picture so much it made her happy.
Red kept his pace ahead of them all, strutting along importantly, head held high. His ego was possibly bigger than his appetite.

Ellie gave a very happy sound when they were out of the forest and her feet were again on the sidewalks. She looked around and seemed to be getting her bearings before figuring out where they were. This area was rather far from where they had started but they would be able to get back home without to many problems.
Valens gave a nod, "Yeah, you must be a great adventurer being able to find your way like that." He sounded a bit awed, could be because his own internal compass was very off and more often then not he'd go in the opposite direction then what he should when trying to find things.
The Silver dragoness reached her head out and closed her teeth on Valen's shirt lightly and gave it a bit of a tug in the direction they needed to go to get home.
The horse boy gave a bit of a pout at the thought that they would have to leave already, "I had a lot of fun today, we should go exploring again sometime!"
One could almost hear a groan from Ellie as she thought of her boy going on another of his adventures...

"Yeah...it was fun, thanks." Damaris said before giving Valens a big hug. He had been so kind to her, she just felt she should give him some form of appreciation.
"We should do something fun again sometime, bye!" She said with a big smile before taking off in the opposite direction after Red.

Valens returned the hug, lifting her up off the ground for a moment as he was rather tall and enthusiastic when it came to hugs. Then he took a step back, "I look forward to it!" He lifted a hand to wave as she started off before letting himself be led towards home by his Silver.
