Aru walked in after his female companion and glanced around the room. Ancelin was nowhere to be seen on the main floor. Which meant she was ether tending to the fish room in the distance or getting new bedding and food for the animals up front. He looked to Alida and smirked at her expression, before he glanced about at the rodent/bird/puppy pens, and then to the other side of the front desk at the cat cages.
"What do you want to look at first? I can get them to get out the keys if you want to hold something besides the puppies."

The rodent and bird pens had their usual animals. Bunnies, chinchillas, ferrets, mice and rats. The bird pen full of small parakeets. The more exotic birds where in the cages down the isle where the reptiles and exotics where kept. There where two dog pens, each with two mutt puppies inside.
"They rescue mix breeds from the shelters just as much as they do pures." Aru explained. "The pure breed dogs are kept in kennels in the back of the store, while the mutts are kept on the main display. It was Ancelin's idea." He said, a little bit proud of his 'kid sister'.

Aru smiled at her reaction to the animals and nodded his head. He tucked his hands in his pocket and relaxed his posture a bit, letting his index finger trace over the open pack of kools that he so desperately wished to smoke.
"Oh yeah, it's no problem. The worst the little guy can do is get down and run around the store." he said with a smirk and a relaxed shrug of his shoulders.

He glanced around the store and nodded a hello to the woman behind the counter. He wondered where Ancelin might be.

Aru turned his head back to Alida and smiled, shaking his head.
"Nah, I was just wondering where An might be. I wanted you to be able to meet her." He said, before he chuckled at the dog attacking her face with puppy kisses. He turned his head to the register, where a small woman was standing.

"Hey Sarah. Is Ancelin here?" he asked, a small blond behind the counter turned her head from a Victoria's Secret catalog to the multi-colored boy, before she smiled and nodded.
"Yeah, one sec." She said, before she hit the button on a microphone and called into it.
"An! A cat crapped on the floor again! GET THE MOP!" she said before she let go of the button. A loud groan could be heard from the back as the blond girl snikkered.

"Can't you litter train that damn thing? It's bad enough you let it roam around on the floor when you know how I feel about cats!" A blue hair girl complained as she came down an isle with a mop and bucket on wheels. She then paused when she got to the end of the isle, and spotted the couple.
"Oh, hey Aru. Who's your friend?" she asked, almost going threw a complete 180 in mood. An was for lack of a better word.. bi-polar.

"Her name's Alida. Me and her just came from Shi's shop."
"Ah, nice to meet you. I'm Ancelin." An nodded from her mop stick. "I'd shake your hand, but I gotta clean up after the cat." She said, before she began looking around for the offending pile.

Sarah simply grinned from behind the counter and blew a bubble with her gum. She'd let her find out on her own it was a false alarm.

When Alida signed her question, An stuck her head up from beside the counter and looked at Sarah, her two tone eyes thinning in anger.
"Sarah. Isn't the cat locked in it's cage now that I'm here?" she asked, the blond behind the counter simply blew a bubble with her gum and shrugged, a wide smirk spread across her face.
"Is it? I completely forgot." she said in an 'I'm completely innocent'. sort of way.
"You b***h!" An said as she flung mop water, causing Sarah to burst out into a giggle fit and duck.

Aru shook his head in embarrassment and looked to Ali.
"I'm afraid An hates cats." He explained. "But I can get a kitten out for you, if you'd like." he said, looking to his sister. An simply gave him a look and dug threw her key ring, before she held up the one to the cat canals.
"If you do, just don't let it on the ground where it can get to me." She said, before she shuddered.

Aru smiled and took the key from his sister before he went and unlocked the kitten kennel. The key ring was attached to a device so that when you pulled it, a string would follow so it was always attached to the owners hip. Once he unlocked the cage he released the keys and they went zipping back to An's hip. Content that Aru had opened the cage, Ancelin bowed her head to Alida.
"Nice meeting you, but please excuse me while I get the hell away from these feline nuisances." She said in the sweetest way she possibly could before taking her mop and bucket and dashing off to the back of the store.

"Don't mind her, she's sweet once you get to know her but she's a little bit stand-offish at first." Aru said towards Alida as he held the cage closed, small kitten paws batting at his fingertips. There where three kittens in the cage he had unlocked. One all light black with gray-blue eyes, one a black tabby, and the third a Siamese print. All with scuzzy fur and little pointy rat tails.
"Which one do you wanna play with first?" he asked, so he could pull it out for her.
