"Mm ~ Sometimes. It would depend on who's home. I normally tend to make dinner when I get home and leave for the others when they get home. Sometimes Roo or Emery will help me with setting up the table if everyone is home." He grinned, well aware of course, that Kaspar would have no clue about who he was talking about. "Sometimes Dante does. He's recently become a bit more helpful."
Chuckling at the joke about cheese he teased lightly, looking at Kaspar at where he saton the counter, "Ill make sure we have that." Then at the inquiry of what he liked he thought a moment, before stirring something on the stove. "Well, I like mushrooms... and... olives.... and sausage." He personally wasnt a fan of pepperoni but he'd get some for Kaspar. "Ill just get a a variety. Hows that?"
Dante remembered their meeting... Of course he had a different view point on it. He'd never thought he'd actually run into Chance again, let alone seen him several more times after, including now...
(Must be fate~! o: ! Lol ~)
Ears perking he glanced at Chance when he was offered more tequila. Finishing the contents of his glass he gave a small smile. "Sure ~" He offered the glass.

(( lol... or writers' convenience. xD;
Oh, and in response to Dante's pov. Ouch. xD; ))
"All right." Chance gave a brief smile and approached the swing. He took Dante's glass with a smooth motion and poured it before returning it to the wolf. Screwing the lid back on the bottle, he raised his glass to his lips.
Kaspar nodded. Talking to Anatu about cooking made the angel want to help out around the house a little more. Everyone pretty much helped themselves, but wouldn't it be nice to sit down as a family once in a while?
He grinned. "Think cheese is all right?" Unless he couldn't eat cheese, of course, but if that had been the case Anatu would never have suggested it. Imagine, a feline who could not handle dairy products... "Well, I like all of those things. We could do mushrooms, olives, and sausage."

(( XD LOL Seriously ~
-prods Dante with a stick- He's still normal Dante in this RP ~ xD;; ))
Dante took the glass with a thank you and leaned back in the swing a moment, watching Chance a moment... His tail flicked beside him as he took a sip of his drink before his ears went back a little... Ever had the annoyed feeling when someone stands right next to you but could be sitting? Well, maybe not so much annoyed just...
Holding his glass to the side, the wolf leaned forward enough to wrap an arm around Chance's waist so that he could pull him onto the swing. He perferred the other to be sitting too. Though given some strange miscalculation he ended up pulling the unicorn onto his lap instead. His ears perked as soon as he realized...
The tiger glanced at Kaspar then chuckled, realizing he hadnt said cheese. "Yes, and cheese." Absently he stirred somehting on the stove before looking back at the angel. "Okay. those sound good." He gave a grin.
((As far as Dante goes, I dont know if you've ever had a situation like that when someone just stands around while youre sitting, but it can get annoying because it's sort of an awkward feeling xD;;; Thats the best I can discribe it. xP;;
And for Anatu, I lost my train of thought 8D;; <33 Sorry ~ X3 ))

Ever try not to spill something while attempting to land with some measure of grace when falling backward? When landing on a swing? It is possible that only Chance had. However, since Dante actually owned the swing, it is also possible that others had as well.
One moment he was standing there looking outward, tail flicking with mild impatience and about to sit on the stairs or something. How long does it take to decide on a date and time? The next moment he was in Dante's lap, tequila sloshing dangerously. Ears flattened in a combination of several mixed emotions, the unicorn turned to the wolf, practically nose-to-nose. "You could have asked me to sit, you know," he said softly, not sure what to make of Dante. Though judging by his shocked expression, this had not been Dante's intention at all.
Kaspar smiled, pleased but definitely starting to feel like he was encroaching, or at least distracting the tiger from making dinner. The last thing he wanted was to overstay himself. He glanced at the glass and quickly finished off his lemonade, then hopped off of the counter and crossed over to the sink. Rinsing it out then setting it down in the sink, he turned back to Anatu.
"I know you're busy right now... so why don't I give you my phone number. We can talk later, set an actual time..." Blushing faintly, he fished around for some paper and pen (say, near a kitchen phone? ). Then wrote down his name and a cell phone number, his penmanship making it obvious he had studied calligraphy. He left the paper laying on the counter top and smiled.

(( To Chances question ~ I have not tried that 8D You're so lucky ~ X3 LOL ))
Dante did in fact have a bit of a surprised look but he played it off a bit as he matched gazes evenly with Chance, ears back lightly. Without really any hit of emotion he replied, "I could have... but you know what they say. Actions speak louder than words... And besides, my words normally come out wrong..." The wolf was true to his words as he didn't release Chance, even though it hadn't quite been the plan, it wasn't too bad off track.
Anatu's ears perked as he watched Kaspar hop off the counter, then instinctively looked at the clock on the stove top even though it didn't matter what it said. Glancing back at Kaspar he blinked. "Oh, okay ~" He gave a small smile, "You're welcome as long as you'd like to stay, really. It's nice to have someone to visit with." He tended to multi task just in general, he hoped he hadn't made the other seem he was too busy to visit.
But it really wasn't a visiting type of visit was it? They were supposed to be setting a time and day for dinner not chattering about who fixes dinner and what not... though he didn't mind, it was fun. Wiping his hands on a towel he moved away form the stove, "Let me give you my number too..."
Finding another scrap of paper he wrote down both the home and his cell phone. His hand writing was neat, but not nearly as fancy as Kaspar's. Purring he held out the paper for the other, "You know where to find me too ~ I tend to linger in the same places."

The fact that Dante did not let go brought a smile to Chance's face. So that's how it was. The wolf had not intended this... but was happy enough with the result. The last part was what mattered, the part that the unicorn had been unsure of. Dante was always so difficult to read; he may think he said things the wrong way, but when he withdrew into himself, even his body language became misleading. Chance leaned closer until his lips hovered near the wolf's ear when he murmured, "I know." Nibbling lightly at the wolf's ear lobe, Chance leaned against him and draped an arm around the other's shoulders, fingers running through his black hair.
Kaspar was blushing faintly when the other handed him the piece of paper. Most likely, he would stash it away in a drawer and refer back to it whenever calling Anatu, even though his phone was fully capable of storing the number, and even after he had it perfectly memorized. He definitely did not want to leave, and though he had had a great time with Chance earlier and the meal wonderful (and filling!), he almost wished he had not eaten dinner yet. Even so, he doubted Anatu was being more than polite inviting him to stay. "Well... I might be by the shop later this week. I don't know how my schedule will be." He smiled. Most likely he would try to make it by the shop even if he was busy, though he would never have said so. "But I thought exchanging numbers would be a good idea."

His ear flicked lightly be fore he gave a small smile and tilted toward the nibble. Shifting to get a bit more comfortable under Chance, he nuzzled against the uni's neck, giving a small nibble. The shift only made the swing move a little, he made sure not to rock it to much, and put his feet down to get a better stance on the porch below.
Gently Dante rubbed the others lower back a little. There really was no reply to Chance's 'I know' that he could think of that seemed suitible for the moment, so, he just let it go wit ha smile...
Anatu grinned, "That would be fantastic." He was actually quite fond of when Kaspar came to the shop. It made him happy ~ He still remembered the first day that the angel came... That had been entertaining. Purring a bit he nodded, "Numbers are always good to have, just in case."
Tail flicking lightly he watched Kaspar a moment beforesighing lightly, "Suppose I should show you to the door?"

Chance attempted to help Dante move by leaning off of him, but there's only so much one can do on a swing. He took a swig of his drink to finish it off then relaxed against the wolf, hand sliding down from Dante's scalp to massage the back of his neck. The only reply to his short sentence had already been "spoken."
Kaspar laughed lightly. "Yeah... just in case." He felt a little silly now, but one never knows when a phone might go down, or who knows what. Yeah, it was a bit silly... "Oh... only if it wouldn't harm dinner." Nothing worse than burnt food, unless it was intentional. But in truth, he would prefer Anatu show him to the door. And maybe to his car.

Anatu grinned, "It wont harm anything. Everythings just simmering right now." Giving a purr the tigers tail swished... truthfully he didnt want to have to walk Kaspar to the door, because he wished the other would stay longer, but all good times had to come to an end at some point didnt they?
"I think Chance and Dante are on the porch... I hope they're being nice and sociable..." Little did he know...
The wolf crooned lightly as he gave a small nibble then nuzzled at Chances neck. His tail swished as it waved and wrapped itself around them, then settled once again. Shivering lightly he relaxed arching a bit at the neck rub, continuing to rub Chances lower back.
Smiling he gave a small sigh against the flesh just enjoying the contact for the moment.

"Oh, well all right..." Kaspar smiled, obviously pleased, and started off toward the door. Anatu telling him that he thought Chance and Dante were on the porch agreed with Kaspar's assessment, and when he got to the door, the two figures on the swing outside the window confirmed it. The angel stepped back in mild surprise. "Yes... they're on the porch. On the swing..."
Well now he was not sure what to do. Did he interrupt them, after they had shared a most obvious awkwardness their whole visit?
Chance shivered a little as the other nibbled and nuzzled his neck. He reached down to gently stroke the other's tail, near the end, as it wrapped around them. With the other hand still rubbing the other's neck but moving up into his scalp, the unicorn smiled faintly. This was nice...

Anatu followed Kaspar to the door and blinked when the angel seemed shocked at what he saw. Ears perked he went over to see if it was true, looking over Kaspar's shoulder the best he could. It wasnt that he didnt trust Kaspar it was just one of those things he needed to see himself... Oh, there they were! The tiger couldnt help the small grin the crossed his features as he stepped back and glanced at the other who seemed obviously torn.
"Would it be a problem if you didnt leave just quite yet?" Watching the other, Anatu's tail flicked as he continued, "I dont think we should interrupt them just yet, it's a good change and possibly a good step for them since they have such hard times communicating... Well, at least Dante does... I cant really speak for Chance."
Shifting he held an arm out showing the way back to the kitchen if Kaspar would like, "You can have another drink or.... help me set the table?"
Dante murred his obvious agreement enjoying the moment thoroughly. Quietly he hoped Chance wouldnt have to go soon... Closing his eyes he relaxed at the others hands, his own still massaging the others back, feeling pretty much the whole length of it, fingers sometimes tracing the others spine.

Kaspar was indeed torn. He tried to keep the annoyance and faint bitterness from his face. It would have been difficult to explain to Anatu... He shifted his wings a little and turned away from the scene. It was a sweet scene, but...
He forcibly relaxed and looked at Anatu, smiling faintly. "Apparently, it wouldn't be... I hope we're not intruding too much." He was about to offer to just sit on a couch or something so that he was out of the way, it was almost dinnertime anyway. But Anatu's suggestion, that Kaspar set the table, sounded like a good idea. It was the least he could do... He nodded. "Yes, let me help you set the table," he said gently, then went with the tiger to the kitchen.
Chance shivered a little as the other traced his spine, but the back rub was so relaxing... He sighed lightly, wondering if Kas was almost ready. He was losing the impatience that had been growing before, but they would be eating soon, right? He glanced at Dante and nibbled lightly at his jaw. "I hope we're not keeping you from eating..." he said quietly, tracing fingers along the wolf's belly. Of course they were; it was more a question of how hungry Dante was versus how much of a good time he was having here.

The tiger waited silently curious why there seemed to be tension and how it could be such a difficult decision. Ears going back slightly he watched the others back waiting on the angels decision... When the other finally turned he didnt really say anything, not sure if he had done the best thing, though in his mind he had done nothin wrong besides let the two have a quiet moment...
Shrugging it off lightly gave a smile and purred. "Youre never intruding ~" Once in the kitchen he first went to the stove to stir things then went to the cupboards to pull dishes and plates and such out. "I think... Emery and Andrei are eating tonight... Roo might be too. So... we can set..." Mentally he counted, "Six spots, just in case someone else shows up."
If Kaspar wanted to leave after they set the table, he wouldnt try to convince the other otherwise this time...
Dante's tail flicked lightly as he tilted his head to the side at the nibble and smiled a bit. Giving a shiver at Chance's fingers he nipped at the others jaw before nuzzling, "Nope ~ Foods overrated..." Especially since they were finally in a comfortable moment, no awkward silences, they were just nice, and quiet. Relaxed.
Still rubbing the others back he murred a bit. He wouldnt give this up for anything right now...

Kaspar blushed faintly at Anatu's reassurance. Maybe he wasn't just saying that, after all. Regardless, he was determined to be helpful if nothing else. "Six spots? All right..." He smiled, faltering only slightly at the mention of Emery. He'd heard the name in passing before and thought it interesting that he knew an Emory too.
He thought he knew where the utensils and such were so he wandered over to the counter-top to grab them, but Anatu was quick in the kitchen and just as quickly picked them out. The angel simply smiled and picked things up then carried them over to the table. He began laying everything out, even setting the silverware in the correct spots. As he worked, he decided that if Chance was going to distract himself like he was, he could come back inside and get him when he was ready. Kaspar could always find something else to do. He was used to finding ways to entertain himself...
(( try to read into that last sentence beyond face value and die~ <3 8D;;; ))
Chance grinned at the wolf and nodded, then lay his head against the other's shoulder. "Fine..." This was definitely all right with him...
Well... was it? Should he have just let Dante go? Never mind that this current situation was "all Dante's fault," the fact remained that whenever he let someone like this get too close, things quickly became complicated, painful, ruinous... And then he'd have to leave. Again.
He really hated that part. He hated causing anyone pain, but it always ended up that way when he stuck around. So wanting to sit like this was really a selfish desire. And yet he found himself holding on - nuzzling the crook of Dante's neck, playing with his hair, tracing his chest - not letting go. He just couldn't help it, even though he knew this was all bound to crash down around them someday.

Dante wasnt really thinking all that hard about the situation or that of which was to come later. The only thing really going through his mind was one, the fact that he was really enjoying it, and two, he didnt want it to end. Though, of course, he knew Chance would eventually leave with Kaspar and then he wouldnt have a clue when he'd see the other again, but eh, maybe theyd have a nother sporadic meeting. You never know ~
The wolf tended to take things at face value, seriously why not? What was the point of over thinking a really quite basic moment? He didnt hope or dream of anything but neither did he try and attach depressing and sad thoughts and such to anything. Maybe it was just the way he was. Basic. Simple. He enjoyed things when they were at face value. He wasnt a dreamer, but he didnt try and think about the pessimistic side to every detail. That would just ruin the fun of things... He tried to live in the 'now'.
Smiling a bit he kissed the top of Chances head before resting his cheek to it. Tail flicking a little, though still staying wrapped around, he continued to rub the unicorns back... Yep... he was totally fine with face value. He was going to take what he could get.
Be quick was what he did. So this do that. Grab this, give that. It was a thrill to him and he loved it, which was why he did what he did. There was always something to be done, something to be moved around. Multitasking was fantastic. It wasnt a chorse, the things that needed to be done. but rather a challenge or a game to see how quick and effieciently one could do all the tasks, or if it was possible to do it all at once.
Purring lightly he took what was left of the table settings and went to the table, helping Kas. Quietly he tried to dig for a conversation topic but ended up with, "Thank you for helping me set the table ~"
