Alayah's eyes shot open to the size of quarters. "W-what happened to you...? Are you alright...?" she asked. He looked like a dog, but she could tell that he was the same Clyth. "You're... a dog..." she said slowly. She wondered if this was intentional or not. What had done this...? she asked herself.

Alayah tilted her head, concerned.
"What are you saying? Is this... a demon?" she asked softly. That's weird, she thought, I didn't originally detect the presence of a demon... It just came on all of a sudden. She had no idea how to give him his old body back. Quickly, she ran through spells in her mind, trying to think of one that might work. She could cast a healing spell, but that would only heal the wounds. And what if this dog form was evil? She stayed on her toes, in case something happened.

Alayah leaned in closer.
"I don't know what you are, and I'm not exactly sure what you're saying, but I'm trying to help you..." she said in a slightly desperate tone.
She glanced back at Cassius, who seemed to be looking utterly and completely confused. Alayah extended her hand to help.

Alayah tilted her head to the side and raised an eyebrow, now utterly confused.
"I've told you, I'm not gonna hurt you..." she said, trying to be comforting to him. She didn't know what to do. A demon was inside him, but he was human only minutes before. "It's ok," she said.

Something deep within Alayah's brain clicked. She couldn't quite put her finger on it, let alone name it, but somehow she understood a teensy bit more than she did minutes ago. The rain had let up to a slight drizzle. She straightened her back and her hand went to a relaxed position at her side.
"Ok, I know what to do..." she said somewhat firmly, "dunno how much it'll help, but I'll try anyway."
Alayah lifted her arms out in front of her, palms facing toward Clyth. A teal bubble like substance seemed to form around the poor dog, enclosing him in a sphere. It wasn't exactly solid, you could easily stick something through it, yet it still seemed firm. She watched to see in anything else happened. If something went awry, she was devising a back up plan...

Alayah lifted her hand, and the bubble that Clyth was inside began to gently levitate. "It's ok," she said. She walked slowly, gently back a few paces and the bubble followed. This was the work of a demon no doubt, she thought as she walked.

Alayah was glad to see that Clyth wasn't struggling. The bubble was only made of energy, gathered from around them; excess energy. It could have vaporized it he struggled. Hopefully, he would be calm. She walked back, past Cassius, nodding to him. "May I go back to your house? It won't be long..." She continued to walk.
"Damned demons... always screwing up people's lives... How I'd enjoy if every last evil demon had his throat slit... beings, being mutilated, controlled... by vile demons... malicious... No respect for human dignity, emotions... I'd grin at the sight of their bodies shredded up and scattered all over the world... Theirwould run down the streets and drip into the sewers..." Alayah was muttering to herself as she walked back to Cassius's house.

Alayah walked by Cassius and into his house. "Sorry," she said, looking at Cassius, "but this is urgent..." She walked into the door, carefully guarding the bubble that held Clyth in front of her. Walking into a bedroom, she placed Clyth gently on the bed and the bubble disintegrated into nothingness. "What's wrong? Are you injured?" she asked. She didn't exactly know what was going on, but she knew it wasn't something good.
