en, when you think about it, its easyist for a vampire to feed from the neck. because theres no layer of muscel in the neck, like the rists to, its easyer to feed from the neck. Since the veins are right there.
To humans though, the neck is a very sexual area, and a kiss on the neck in body language means i want you
since vampire usually feed from the neck, this could be one of the reasons y

even then that heavy sexualness has bled over into our kind there are many amogst are race that plays into this sexual orgy bullcrap we are a race of high esteem we need to be civil, because we already have earned a title that shouldnt exsist to sentient beings "beast" "rapist" "whores" that is a title i can live without

Playing into that whole sexual bs is how some of us got into situations they are in now. (orgies and crap i mean) For some vampires they create the illusion of something sexual. For example I have a friend that when they feed say they go to a bar and pick out they're "dinner" for the night. When they find anyone who has shown interest (usually female) they walk over an advance flirt a little bit maybe buy that person a couple drinks and then my friend invites them back to their place and after cuddling and talking or whatever (no sexual relations) he will act like he fell asleep and then will wait for his vic to pass out and then he will feed lay them in their bed cover them up then off to his home he goes. Sometimes he says he waits for the person to "slip" into something better and when they run off to do that he "passes" out I've seen that a great deal of vampires do infact to the above mentioned and some continue beyond the point where it becomes a pure sexual experiance. Thus we are portrayed as lustful being. Blah...... I wish some humans would venture into our shoes. Some already have and thats a blessing. To finally be understood by some.

i agree for the most part... however i do admire the dark sensual eroticism of the vampire lore, though as for everthing else i completely agree... we are for the most part dark children of the night and i am rather upset what new stories of this age are depicting us as...but remember.. to each is own, everyone has their own personal views...their likes and dislikes, the vampire lore is so varied now...there are so many interpretaations, there is no "true" version...but what you believe is right and what you personally prefer
