Oora stared at all of the fireflies with wonder-filled eyes. Surely this is magic, the most wonderful and rare kind. "This is wonderful!! It's so pretty!" She looked all around them entranced by the dancing bugs. She kept her hand tightly in Siko's, a huge smile on her face. She was right about this being the most perfect night.
Haru knew that Siko wouldn't let anything happen to Oora, but he couldn't help it. She may be older than him, but she is still his sister. He stood up and turned the hourglass over. "I know they'll be ok." he assured himself. He made a small smile settle back into his face, and looked back at Eaxipil, giving a nod.

"The fireflies congregate around this area every year. They're really something." Insiko smiled and lifted his hand with Oora's in tow. He kissed the back of her hand, his smile not fading from his face. "Indeed," the cattair crooned to her. "We can't linger here. It'll only get darker and I'm sure Haru and Eaxipil will be starting to worry. I can take you back here whenever your heart desires."
"Definitely, lad." The flame rose and gave a bit of a stretch and a sigh, causing the fire in the hearth that he occupied to flicker and crack, a small plume of embers rising before fading into the darkening room. "Do you know if you two are staying here tonight or if you are going back out to your home?"

Oora blushed a little when he kissed her hand. "I guess we should head back. I don't want them to worry." She squeezed his hand a little. "I love it here. You're right beside me, there are fireflies doing their beautiful dance, just for us... This night has been perfect." her tail was swishing happily back and forth. She gave a small, content sigh, looking up at his face.
Haru smiled, remembering their past "homes". "Well, when you live with a Cattaur who thinks she's a Wolf, you don't exactly sleep in a house." he nodded. "We don't exactly have a home right at this moment." he laughed a little "probably not even a cave, knowing Oora." he gave a small sigh. She could be so absent-minded.

"Yes, it has. I look forward to many more with you." Siko briefly cast his eyes heavenwards to watch the stars and fireflies dance for a time longer before wrapping his arm around Oora's waist and turning towards home. "Let's go. I don't usually leave Eaxipil in charge of the house this long. Heavens know what's going on over there." He chuckled softly.
Eaxipil gaped slightly. "Seriously? Well, you both are welcomed to stay the night here. I mean at least you'll have something over your heads should the weather turn nasty or something. I'm sure Insiko wouldn't mind."

Oora laughed "With Haru, it must be very dangerous there." Oora stayed as close to Siko as she could, starting to feel a little nervous for the pretty house. "That's a scary thought." she made a face. "Hopefully the house is still in one piece." she was half serious.
Haru nodded "Seriously." He looked over at Eaxipil "I know Oora should be welcomed," he smiled a little "that's my main concern. That she's safe. She may be older than me, but she's a little out of it a lot." he nodded to himself. "I would appreciate it, though."

"I'm sure it'll be okay. I mean I did make sure it was sturdy and we haven't been gone all that long. How bad could they be?" Siko inquired pondering his own question. "I mean, sure, Eaxipil can be a hot head at times, but I'm sure the combination between Haru and him can't be all that bad."
The fire spirit gave a bit of a whistle, his brows raised slightly. "Wow. Heh, ya don't hear something like that everyday." Eaxipil then laughed. "Well yeah! You're like her brother so its natural to worry for her. You both are welcome to stay here for a bit. I mean it'll be a little better than roaming all over without knowing where you're going to lay your head at night."

Oora took a deep breath. "You're right. I'm sure nothing is wrong." she laughed a little at her overreaction. "I hope they get along good." her mind was wandering. She held Siko's hand a little tighter, letting him lead her. Her sense of direction still wasn't the best.
Haru laughed a little "That's how we are. When you're following her, you really have no idea where you'll end up." he smiled more. "I would love to stay here for a little while." he nodded.
