HeartPool Looked at the medicine cat apprentice with shock. It was very out spoken of her to tell larksparrow to do something. SHe shook her head and looked at the new queen. "Just let your body do its thing." SHe nodded. "If you think you have the strength push a little..." HEr eyes were warm when they settled on the Queen. "Your body knows what its doing... Dont fight it." Her voice was soft and warm flowing sweetly...calmly. So much for LarkSparrow Jumping right on the chance. SHe looked to StarPelt. "Send A warrior or an apprentice to go get a moss full of water..." She nodded and twitched her tail. SMiling softly she ran her tail softly down her side "EbonyPaw...Listen carefully... Your going to live... StarClan will see you through" Even as she said the words she prayed they would be true. Queens Had kits... Although she was younger she would be fine...she had to be.

((She couldn't let them become warriors, because it isn't time yet. Duh.))
Moonstar hadn't been able to reply, but had kept bracing Ebonypaw until she was in the medicine cat den, and from then on, she had been keeping watch from outside- she had the right, as leader and mother of Ebonypaw. For her, there had been herbs to keep the pain at bay, and knowledge of how many were due, and what would be okay for her to eat- Ebony's case was different; she was too young! There was pain, but five kits were coming out, one after the other, and she had to lick them until they could breathe. Thank StarClan she had Heartpool and Larksparrow to help her with that! But her baby, Ebonypaw...would StarClan let her live, or have her die like many of the queens that had kits more recently?
And it wasn't her fault the cats weren't warriors- it was hers and Swiftcloud that kits were being born!

((Its a timewarp rp Glitch, the reference is to the apprentice naming, being delayed, in this rp Ebonypaw is just about old enough to be a warrior))
Ebonypaw heard HeartPool and she stopped fight the feeling to push. It was obviously taking a lot out of Ebonypaw though. Her front paws scraped at the nest while her back paws stiffed. She stopped moving for a moment falling into just gasping for breath the first kit was almost out.
Ebonypaw felt tired she felt like dropping right there. "Poppy seeds." The apprentice squeaked she wanted the pain to stop right now. Her body flew into movement once more and the first kit was out. Ebonypaw lay her head down gasping for breath as her body seemed to settle for now. It would be another moment or two before the next one came. She was thankful for this if not for the rest she could not push out another one.
Tuxedopelt stiffened as he was ignored. "Fine, but this will not be dropped so lightly. You need to make a decision some time soon Moonstar." Tuxedopelt prowled away from the group and looked at the den with worry filled eyes.

HeartPool Looked at the apprentices pain. SHe couldnt giver the medicine now that she was so far into labor. Her paws worried the ground. "Breath EbonyPaw...I wont let you stop...The pain will go away soon." SHe moved the the kit. Biting through the protective mucas membrane she licked the kit. The opposite way and continued until it squeeked. SHe sighed "YOur doing great EbonyPaw... Do you hear you kit?" SHe picked the kit up and moved it away slightly so the mother didnt hurt it in the process of the other/s. SHe curled it against her stomach to keep it warm. "Come on EbonyPaw... YOu can do it..." She looked at the supply of poppyseeds and wanted badly to give them to her. "Im so sorry..." SHe frowned and waited tuicking the kit firmly against her licking it to make it squeek more. "EbonyPaw...YOur a mom now... just a bit more pain then you have a life to look foreward to. YOu have kits that need you..." SHe smiled. "Just push slightly...itll be over soon."
RottenBone looked about and frowned . "StarPelt?..." He was holding moss soaked wet. He had run for it knowing it would be needed. "Can you take it in there?"

Starpelt grabbed the moss and laid it by where Ebonypaw's head was, she then ran back to where some of their scattered herbs were at and quickly picked up some poppy seeds. She ran back to Ebonypaw and gave them to her.
((So one more kit now right?))

((What 'delays'? There aren't any delays in the naming ceremonies, and I don't want Moonstar to be yelled at because Ebonypaw's still Ebonypaw. She couldn't help there was so much going on they couldn't become apprentices right away, and I don't see why there's a delay in naming since they're ABOUT old enough to be warriors.))
Moonstar hadn't heard Tuxedopelt earlier, as she had wandered to the den. She knew Tuxedopelt had to be complaining, and in her confusion she hissed, "Well, you aren't leader, and I haven't heard from Chaosstar for awhile. Ebonypaw will be a warrior when it comes her time. They aren't ready to be warriors, and there was so much going on they couldn't be apprenticed right away, so if you want to take charge, then ask StarClan to make you and Larksparrow leaders, since it seems I'm not doing a good job."

HeartPool gasped and hissed quickly "No Starpelt dont..." SHe swatted the seeds away. "I know i wasnt clear but i know that giving a relaxent during this seems wise but her body could go into shock and potentially kill the kit." SHe sighed thanking star Clan she had seen what had happened "Go ahead EbonyPaw...take a bit of water."

Larksparrow watched the scene unfold with hawk like precision, ready to launch herself into the commotion at the slightest sign of trouble. For the moment she was content to wait and watch the other two cats, much like a mentor evaluating their charge on a first hunting trip. She seemed to exude authority; any onlookers may have guessed that nothing was happening without her silent approval.
The pleading in Ebonypaw’s eyes tore at her heart like claws ripping into flesh, cleaving fur from stinging wounds, but still she held back. She was proud of Starpelt, taking initiative and making herself useful without prompting, yet still knowing her place in the den, and clan, hierarchy. Heartpool was doing fairly well too, she had to admit.
“Poppy seeds are too strong,” Larksparrow supported, “but Windflower used sparingly will ease the pain slightly. Only two shoots,” she mewed, separating the large bundle she had gathered earlier. The small stems she placed in front of Ebonypaw looked rather pathetic when compared to a full dose, but they couldn’t be too careful.
Moving next to Heartpool, Larksparrow picked up the tiny dark furred kit gently and repositioned it with its face toward the ground and its tail in the air, balanced neatly against the other cats light fur. “Keep it like that,” she mewed, referring to the squirming bundle that now attempted to right itself once more. “With its face down its airways should clear in a bit; we don’t want any fluid dripping into its lungs, licking its nose and mouth will speed up the process if you can get to them.”
She then settled herself next to Ebonypaw, waiting for the second kit.
 Kits!! You get preview images of them because the Shadowclan newborn hides any markings pretty well. Since they were from the Valentine's breeding, the first kit has tiny heart markings right above each paw, and the second has a heart marking on it's left side.

Swiftcloud watched by Ebonypaw's side as the first kit came. The first one. He thought to himself. He didn't know what to do now so he watched for the second kit to come.

Heartpool nodded thinking it sounded reasonable. Yes of course it did. She reogransed the kit lightly and lapped a pink tongue across its mouth and nose. She Purred softly comfertingly to the kit and half to herself. She helped deliver the kit. One more step to being a great medicine cat.

((OMG soo pretty!!! Sweet #2 is your's cause #1 is calling me XD))
Ebonypaw's ears twitched as a sign she had heard the kit. Her eyes seemed to soften to the pain the subdued mewing of the first kit calming her as it should for any mother. Her eyes watched as the kit was passed out of the way. She gave a broken purr through the pain, for a moment she thought poppy seeds had been placed before her and in a blink they were gone. Whimpering a bit she licked the moss trying to her water into her dry throat. She felt as though she was catching fever and her eyes seemed to be releaved as something was put before her for her pain. Ebonypaw took the windflower quickly hoping it would help her.
Ebonypaw closed her eyes, the pain was starting again. How many more would there be? She couldn't take much more, but it seemed Starclan smiled on her for that much. Opening her eyes once more she found Larksparrow, wordless she let her know the next kit was starting to come.
With a grunt of pain her claws dug into the nest. Her struggle was less this time her body losing it's strength as the moments passed. For a moment she seemed to give in her eyes becoming dull for a moment, but the mew of the first little kit seemed to bring a determined spark back to her eyes. She pushed, struggled and yowled till the second kit was out.
Her body seemed to know the birthing was over. She lay her head down and closed her eyes. For a few moments she stopped breathing, but in the very next moment she gasped for air. Her mind was screaming for her kits and her mouth moved trying to ask for them, but nothing came out. She let out a mew that sounded like a weak kitten as she attempted once more to ask for her kits.
Tuxedopelt shook his head before padding to the warrior's den. "You should talk with me later Moonstar, you don't know what you are saying." What did Starclan have in store for shadow clan? Things seemed so odd now, but Tuxedopelt would not go too Starclan asking for leadership, he did not want that burden, but he did not like what was happening to his clan. He would wait for a sign if any ever came, till then he was loyal to the clan and everyone in it, but that didn't mean he couldn't speak up, they where a clan after all.

Heartpool glanced to larksparrow knowing she was taking care of the other. "Here" SHe gently picked up the kit and placed it close to her. HEr voice was soft. SHe licked the queens ear then sniffed over the kit once more and nodded. Now to the next kit which larksparrow had. SHe nodded and looked at the soaked moss. It could wait she decided. THe queen needed her rest. "Take a bit more water and rest for now we are watching nothing will happen...you need your rest now." the kits could suckle even if she was pretty much asleep.
SHe nodded and Breathed a sigh of relife. turning to larksparrow she said quietly. "Ill go toell moonstar...although i would leave it up to EbonyPaw i dont think moonstar would appresiate it if we left her to worry." she nodded. "Be back in a second." She walked out and frowned lightly. "Shes fine...you can relax..." she was speaking to the entire of the cats still gathred. Moving slowly she found moonstar. "EbonyPaw is fine but resting...I think she should be aloud to rest for a day before anyone questions her..." she smiled Ebony paw could tell her how many kits there are and the details. IT was strictly between medicine cat and patient.

Larksparrow deftly freed the kit from its bundle and began to slide her rough tongue against its fur. As soon as the kit began to wriggle Larksparrow settled herself around her and tilted her in the same manner as her sibling.
As Ebonypaw sank down and her gaze darted around, desperate to meet the little lives that she had been carrying for so long, Larksparrow knew it was over. She sighed, relieved. All parties concerned appeared to be healthy. Taking care of the kits would be a challenge for such a young mother, but with guidance and support Ebonypaw would make it.
The kit sputtered and Larksparrow licked it a few more times to comfort it. As soon as she was sure that her air passages were clear, she carried the little one to Ebonypaw. Surely it was hungry.
"Do you have names for them?" she purred.
