Dimitri would have to talk to Seraphina....and suddenly liked the idea of the cave now...but the other two needed to be out of here.

Dimitri was already ahead, wondering if Seraphina was still behind him.

"See," Alex grinned with the torch in his mouth. "That wasn't so hard."
Seraphina stayed in the rear, watching Alex and Takako carefully. How had this happened? It was true, she knew Takako kinda had a thing for Alex when they were kids but...she still couldn't believe it was really happening.

"Oh no," Alex shook his head, careful of the flames. "I leave your side, you topple over, and I won't hear the end of it..."
Of course you should have, Seraphina answered upon catching his thought. Why didn't you help her sooner? She couldn't help herself, didn't even think about it, the thoughts just seemed to flow from one mind to the other without knowing any boundaries.

Dimitri seemed startled. It was the first time she willingly made contact through a personal link. Would it change anything if I said I was about too when I heard you two calling out?

Seraphina wasn't sure what to say about that. Why was she here with you? she asked cautiously, not sure if she really wanted to hear the answer.

What? It took Seraphina a second to realize who he was talking about. Oh come on! That was how long ago? And you were right even... Seraphina averted her eyes to the ground. He never even looked at me.
