It's just as nice as a violin, so I don't understand why it's so ignored D:
It's almost like we're just some replacement violins sometimes...

The only reason cellos and violas are ignored in modern music is because alot of composers these days don't have the brain capacity to realize that instruments other than violins can have a damn melody. xD

I play the cello! I love it biggrin
(there are times that I really think strings are my instruments.... but oh well. we payed for it.)

I play Violin, and I'm concert mistress in the summer program at my old middle school....but I'm gonna play snare in drumline next year, and I play Cello decently...

String Bass no one likes it now a days D: its the first instrument i fell in love with <3 like i was ment to play it and toying with the positions is fun as well and the deep sound is just lovely

I play the violin, but i also like and play the chello..so...its a hard decision, but i pick chello the low yet very pretty x3 aha

i play the viola, but I gotta say... the cello is my all-time fav instrument. It's so warm and mellow.

I play the violin and I played the bass for a jazz band during the school year. I think that violin playing is great, I think it's made to make people smile. I think that playing the bass is great, 'cause it makes you want to go "Aww, yeah." in a low voice. The viola and the cello really sound nice too, and if you listen, by themselves they sound really good.

I play viola and absolutely love it! Second, in my mind, to viola is cello. I love the mellow, relaxed tone...
