There was a bright flash as Vanyel appeared in front of his old home. It had been so long since he had been there that it seemed unreal to finally be back. He breathed in the warm tropical air and looked around to get his bearings. Though some things had changed it was still primarily the same as he remembered it and he was soon walking down the streets. After many a worried glance along with pointing and whispering Van realized that he had neglected to put his blue hilted Keyblade away. 'I wonder if anyone else around has the power of the key.' Walking into an alley he was just about to put his weapon away when he noticed a shadow nearby. With a swift movement he destroyed the beast and then looked around for any other enemies.

Akemi had another problem with the note...
So it asks for Sora's son, but it doesn't say a word about Sora's daughter. What am I, a nobody or something? she thought angrily.
But no, this wasn't the way she should think. She crushed her thoughts and continued to look normal.
Akemi waited for the others to decide while she looked around, noticing the other Islanders coming out for the morning.

With a leap he jumped to the top of a nearby building and used this slightly more elevated view to get a better look at things. As he walked the low rooftops he saw a gathering of people wielding Keyblades. He strolled along till he was closer and jumped down and walked towards them, wondering if they would notice his approach before he actually reached them.

Because of her idle stance, Akemi was the first to notice a newcomer going directly towards them. She didn't recognize him...so he must be a new guy, probably he just moved in and wasn't used to this usual gathering of people with keyblades.
"Oh, boy," she said suddenly. "This day just keeps getting more and more crowded."
But of course she was pleased...that is, if this person might have any news of the outside world. of course, if they had some more devious purpose...
She readied her keyblade just in case.

Vanyel saw the other Keyblader tense up with her weapon. He did not recognize the girl or anyone else in the group but he continued. As soon as he was close enough Van heard one of them call out.
"Hey there." he called, "Any particular reason there are so many Keyblade wielders in one place, obviously you can't all have good intents with all these weapons out." Van shouldered his own weapon to seem like he was relaxed, but all his muscles were tense should he be attacked.

Akemi shrugged. "I don't know...why is your keyblade out?" she accused, noticing from experience that the newcomer wasn't as relaxed as he'd like them to believe. "It just so happens that we've just been attacked by a few measly heartless, nothing more."
