Especially cello and bass clarinet.

I've tried out for trombone, and I did pretty well. I've played piano for 5 years and loved it. I'm learning how to play guitar; and I love the way the trumpet sounds, but the best instrument is... (wait for it--)

To be honest, I really love the Bassoon-and that's not just because I play it!
It has a wonderful sound that you can here, even though there's only about one or two of them versus fourty violins, twenty cellos, fifteen double basses five french horns, the percussion, and a couple of oboes (poor little double reed instruments that everyone always forgets...)
It's beautiful, and plays a unique part in the orchestral world.

Even as a Bassoon player...
I love the Cello.
I really love it when I play along with the Cellos during Symphony Orchestra.
Cello just beefs up the sound.

Marching Band no Jutsu piccolo. I can't explain, but I think piccolo is definitely the best. After a lot of thought, the best instrument is mellophone. Mello and French horn. Picc is second best now. >D

I can't pick the best one...everything sounds good when played well.
The worst instrument, though, is piccolo in the screamyscreamy range. It makes me want to rip out my ears.
