Oh no! A fox attacked and one of your clanmates, Moonstar, has been injured!
If you have a medicine cat in your group, he or she can heal your clanmate and you will be able to continue tomorrow. END DAY.
If you do not have a medicine cat in your group, you have two options:
If 3 healthy clanmates (or all, if less than three cats are left) choose to send the wounded cat back to camp, it must go to the medicine cat den at Fourtrees. END DAY.
If you decide to let the wound heal on its own you will have to take shelter for two days. END DAY. SKIP NEXT TWO DAYS.
The following RP counts for Monday, February 11th.

Starpelt had gathered some cobwebs from a rock and she headed over to Moonstar to inspect the wound. "It's a mild injury." She murmured half to herself she looked over the black she-cat to make sure none of the wounds were infected. Moonstar looked well so Starpelt dipped her head and sat down a bit farther away from Moonstar.

Nightdevil glared after the path the fox took in retreat when the rest of the patrol had attacked it and gave an audible growl. The tom was frustrated with himself for his carelessness; he had ventured this way before his clanmates, how did he miss the fox scent? What frustrated him even more is that because of his carelessness, his leader got hurt. Pacing back over to Moonstar and Starpelt, the warrior looked on anxiously. "She's not hurt too bad, right, Starpelt?" He meowed with concern, "That fox is lucky he left when he did! We should have ripped his tail off." The black and red tom sat down near them and inclined his head a little bit. "Is there anything I can do to help?" His earlier quarrel with the leader seemed like nothing now when her lives, and the lives of his clanmates, had been threatened.

HeartPool nodded to starpelt. She looked the way the fox had gone. "Do you feel well enough t continue?" Although what she saw of the wound it ooked shallow and not too bad. She had to know Moonstar's opinion. First rule of medicine make the patient comfertable. SHe nodded and casually glanced at starpelts work. although she trusted the medicine cat apprentice...she was still an apprentice... "Ill tell Larksarrow how you helped moonstar when we get back...you did a fine job of patching her up" HeartPool smiled. Maybe if she could win over starpelt as a friend she may not feel like such an outcast.

Starpelt smiled at Heartpool and turned to Nightdevil. "Yes Moonstar will be fine." She looked at the wound, it didn't look very deep but they should rest a bit before continuing. "I think we just need a bit of rest is all." She sat down and looked over to the path the fox had taken as it escaped.

HeartPool nodded thinking about the pile of poppyseeds back at the camp... They would have been useful... God what kind of medicine cat is she? SHe didnt pack any herbs... Well it was too late to turn back. "I think honestly...Although rest probably sounds appealing to Moonstar...we should keep going...her muscles would get tight...stiff if you will if she lays too lon with that ingery...so i say a short...very short rest then we keep going...Not only to keep up but so that moonstar isnt in too much pain."

Nightdevil nodded in understanding and gave his leader's injury another glance before shifting his paws a little and getting up. He paced towards the river before turning around again and glancing back at the three of them. "Well, since we'll be moving again soon anyway, what do you guys think about crossing here?" He began returning his gaze to the flowing water and watching it critically. He could have sworn that stupid two-leg bridge was around here somewhere; it must be just a little further. "The river looks pretty narrow here, but we have no idea how deep it is. Moonstar, do you think you can swim with your wound like that? I still think we should push forward, easterly. I know there's a bridge somewhere near here; I saw it when Chaosstar sent me out here during the gathering." The tom gazed over at Snowbird, wondering if seeing the river at this point or if the fox attack would change his mind any.

"It's very minor." she returned, wanting to get going. "Why kill a fox that's supposed to be another Clan's problem?" she asked. "We've done them all enough favors in the past. But this proves that it's good we have two medicine cats." she pointed out, positively.

HeartPool nodded. She cringed at the thought of swimming. "Well maybe we could find a bridge... Its going to be cold and withwet fur and no where to dry we could catch a cough or some kind of illneess." her mind was racing ith the water father downstream. She couldnt even come up with a sickness at the moment...god...she hated water... After almost drowning in the kiddy pool back in the gardens she would prefere not get wet...but she coudnt how weakness... she couldnt let her leader or her group down. "But it ddoes look shallow enough here to get safely across."

"Yes. The water is pretty shallow here. We could wade through." The though didn't please her at all but finding a way around the river could take ages so wading would probably save the most time. She waited to see what the others would say.

((I'm really sorry I wasn't on. Life has a bad habit of dumping things on me once I commit to something. v_v;; ))
"I don't think going through the water will do Moonstar's injury any good. We'll continue east and keep an eye out for the bridge you saw Nightdevil." Snowbird said. He did not wish to aggravate his leader's wound but they needed to keep moving. He began walking easterly along the river, keeping an eye out now for any thing else that might delay them.
As current patrol leader, I declare that we shall explore... East

What to do? One of your clanmates, Starpelt, has eaten some rotten prey and needs herbs.
Does your cat choose to search for them? If they take too long, the rest of the patrol may choose to leave on their own.
If no one chooses to help your clanmate, the cat’s will go to the Fourtrees medicine den. END DAY.
If you are a medicine cat you choose to heal your clanmate, it will take a while until they are ready to move. END DAY. SKIP NEXT DAY.
If you are a warrior and choose to try and help, roll a 6 sided dice.
1-2: Ooops, the herbs you brought have only made your clanmate more ill! You feel guilty and wait with them while the others fade away in the distance. Both cat’s proceed to the medicine den at Fourtrees. END DAY.
3-4: Whatever you brought was useless, there’s been no change. Do you help your clanmate again?
5-6: What luck! Those strange leaves you brought seem to have done the trick! Maybe you should be your clan’s next medicine cat. END DAY.
Hey, same event as Thunderclan XD
(Note: This means Heartpool can offer to get the herbs and your patrol will all be safe but will definetely skip a day, OR a warrior can try, which would speed things up but could potentially send cats back. Starpelt is ill, she can't get herbs for herself.)

Nightdevil was floored. She was supposed to be training to be a medicine cat, how on earth could she eat that rabbit, and not scent that it was crowfood?! The black and red tom's maw nearly hung open as he stared at the groaning form of Starpelt. She seemed to have gotten pretty ill from the food too, by the looks of it. They were going to be held up a while it seemed.
Raising his eyes to the bridge, which could now be easily spotted, the warrior stifled a sigh and turned his gaze back to his clanmates. He was a warrior, not a medicine cat, and even with his sense of smell, sending him to find herbs would be pretty useless; he wouldn't even know where to begin and would probably inadvertently make Starpelt worse. So, he opted to go hunting for good prey instead and began to head off in search of fresh scent trails, calling back as he did, "Starpelt has been throwing up since she ate that rabbit, I'm going to go see if I can find anything a little fresher. She'll be hungry again when she's through and I think this might keep us here for the night at least."
