The elf nodded and shook his head at the same time, "It is either her with her dragon or yours. You are not yet trusted enough to ride yours. While it fly on its own, both can't. She will fly..even if I have to strap her to the saddle to make sure she doesn't fall out!"

"I'm not going then. And it will be because of your stuborness that I'll die after this to. I already said I'm not going without Sang. And you said to him please I won't survive in or out of the desset. I'm not going without Sang. Rain will see to it that I'll get my way!" she said. She looked at RAin. She new Rain would do as she wish. She would refuse to fly if Mai didn't want to.

Sighing softly Sang lightly kisses Mai's forehead before slowly crawling out of thier makeshift bed letting her curl up with the what remained of his warmth as he walked over towards the Elf. His face was calm though his eyes still burned with a soft hint of agravation. Stopping a few inches for the Elf his eyes look straight into his. "For some one who advocated trust and a willing ness to allow trust to grow you are one of the most stuborn people i have ever meet. you advocate that i have gained trust my sitting still and beeing a good little pet. keeping quiet and out of your way, and now when one of my family.. my love, someone who i would do anything to keep her safe and as far from harm as i possibly could gets inflicted by an illness. then you tell me that she can get better by cooling off basicly, but i cant fly her, even though she cant move much less stand oo stay in a saddle no matter how much you strap her in, unless your methods damper the effects of the cold... you say that i have gaine trust and yet you will allow me to do nothing based upoin that trust to strengthen it more or let it grow even a little..."

The elf signed. The boy was simply not getting it. While yes there trust had grown with him there not enough for him to alone with a possible dragon rider ally. On the ground they could be watched and kept an eye on. The elf shook his head, "Yes...trust has been earned but enough for you to go out of eyesight or in a position were you can leave or harm the female and there would be nothing for us to do about it. Even if the young lady trusts you that is one person...everyone is different and you don't quite understand the risk we are taking with giving you this chance. You may ride...if and only if you take her dragon and show yourself every few minutes. Your dragon will be bound and if you fail to show yourself...she will be killed." The elf walked off a bit but paused, "You earn the right to be around young leg, to move unbound, and to allow you dragon flight by itself...but not to be in position to were you could possible harm or take flight incase you are lieing. Stop acting like a know it all and that your special. You are neither and you are going to learn the hard way...you don't always get what you want."

"That one truth i know all to well my friend. if i had what i wanted i would still be at my farm with a blue and black rock marking my fields..." Sighing lightly Sang steps back and turns around walking back towards Mai's side pulling the covers back a bit so he could see her face. "Hey..." he comments with slightly forces smile as her hair lightly clings to her face matted down by the light layer of sweat growing on her skin. "Can you rouse your dragon for me?" Sangs voice is sot and gentle as he lies down a little bit next to Mai his face still holding a smile as he brushes a few hairs from her cheeks.

Mai looked up to him and nodded. The little bit of yelling felt like it was to much for her. She smiled at him. "Of coarse," she said. Closin g her eyes she called for her dragon through her mind. She new Rain wanted tot fly, but Mai her self wasn't sure she could ride like tis. Stompingish noises were made as Rain appeared in front of Mai and SAng. Mai could tell Rain was worried about her but Mai wasn't sure if she could do anything about it.

"This cold get interesting."hr thinks to himself as he softly takes Mai's hand as he stands up. gently lifting her to her feet. though a bit of a struggle he gets it pulled off as he starts carrying Mai towards Rain hoping the dragon wold kneel to help him out as he tries to get to her shoulders.

After a bit of struggling the two riders manedged to get onto Rain. Rain wasn't being much of a help either. The dragon and the riders took off into the sky. Mai felt hot still even in the cool air brushing against her face. "Neh, what if I don't get better. ?" she said. "It's always been like this. I've had many more fevers. Doesn't it mean I'm just getting sicker?" she asked. She set it aside though. She didn't want to think of it for a while. She rested againt Sang.

The elf walked up next to the dragon and the two riders, "When we reach the varden...your illness will be take care off by our healers. For now...we will keep you in the cold air." The elf pointed a finger at Sang dragon and band of light form around the dragon neck, "remember what I said...if not...you will find your dragon with out a head. As you rider we will move on down here. Now take flight."

Takeing one last pain filled look at Sûreté, feeling sorry more for not being able to ride her this time, insead of the threat of her life if he doent show himself every so often. "Nearly shameless anrt they?" he asks getting a soft chuckle from her mind before Sang figures out how to get rain into the sky. not really being used to how she flew, on top of not haveing the mental link that he had with Sûreté thie flight was a bit of a chalenge for Sang to controle. but he kept it as simple as possible just swimming up and down along the plumes of hot air verses cold and he just stayed within sight knowing that climeing anf falling a few thousand feet every few minuets would be a lot more strain than what the dragon or her rider was sued to. his arms though in use to keep them on ains back were still wraped around Mai as he held on to her tightly.

Rain wasn't used to this. Although she tried to follow Saangs movments having no luck at all. Mai felt a chill run down her back . She rubbed her forhead slighty to get rid of the small sweat drips. Mai looked up in the sky to see something flying. Although nothing was there she was sure she saw something. "SAng what's that?"= she asked giving a bit of a point to thin air. She was haluccinating.

"Hum?" Sang asks for a moment before he looks up. Seeing nothing he galnces back down to Mai his grip getting a little tighter around her. "You tell me." He forces out after a few minuets. "If i can keep her talking than i can get her to stay with me." he thinks ot himself as he takes Rain for their first descent giving the Elf the sight he wanted.

Mai bent her neck to look at SAng and then at the blank space she had saw. "I swear I had saw something," the cool air was feelingnive, but she could now feel chills going down her back. She looked in to another part of te sky seeing the faint illusion again. Again it was never there. "There it is again," she looked at SAng again. "What's wrong?" she asked. She leaned against him. She felt extreamly tired and weak. She didn't think she would be able to move at all. She closed her eye feeling the need for sleep.

Holding Mai as close to him he started to dive down towards the ground. "Come on Mai, stay with me!" Sang comments almost shouting to her as he tries to get down to the caravan before she goes to far out. (im sorry for the size, but is all i could come up with)
