How would people feel about Ciella Ceiphus, at some point in the future, going on a mini-quest to recover her mother or Father's mandalorian armor?
Completely off the subject of possibility but acording to Cannon there is no Mandalore at the moment... Ciella COULD fill that gap, bringing a new Ally to the Jedi...

actually... thats not completely improbably... there is a distinct lack of Mandalore and since the empire is fighting against Mandalorian rebels we could easily make Nova be the side that takes Mandalore in the war between Nova and Virtra.
And if we do the plot we're planning it would take a Mando/Mandalore to unite the Mandalorians properly, and only then would they aid anyone...

Ok, scratch that, Kai has a plan to become Mandalore. which I think works better. He'll be able to unite them to defeat the empire that are on their planet and then he can join the Novian fleet to help Dante. but as his own group, not part of nova.
A separate faction (bringing the Mandalorians together properly like Fett is supposed to in Legacy of the ForcE) who ally themselves with Nova but not actually joins them.
But on a separate note I have decided to bring the Null troopers back. oh yeah, the Nulls rock, and if Dante is goign to be mixed into the novians he'll sure as hell need some soldiers he can count on to help him when Nova turns on him.
By this point in continuity Kal has... beocme one with the force... so it wouldnt be too hard for Dante to gain one of thems loyalty and the others loyalties would spread from that.
...unless you guys have any serious complaints about all this... Then I'll have my Null boys shoot'cha

This is just my thinking out loud, but isn't Mandalore supposed to be the strongest and the smartest of the warriors? So technically if Nova had her sights set on making herself Mandalore... would she not technically win? I really don't know too much about the whole Nova Corp thing ever since what I was supposed to do with it kinda just had the bottom fall out of it, so I'm just asking? Also... what if Virtra had the same idea? Set herself up as mandalore to gain another group of powerful soldiers?
Now I'm not saying that the idea of setting up Kai as Mandalore is a bad thing, but realistically wouldn't someone else oppose him?

Actually, technically Mandalore is decided by the person who holds mandalore's helmet, but seeing as thee mandalore helmet has been lost by centuries and the Mandalore helmet worn by Jango is with Boba thats not going to be how it's decided.
I dont think that Nova would try to become Mandalore. theres too much of an expectation to be a certain way or the mandalorians would turn on her. She is far more likely to get someone who she can control to do it and then get them to convince the mandalorians to aid her.
Since she will believe she has controll over Dante and she pretty much will have controll over Mara, the two most important people to kai she would believe that she can controll him, through them at the very least.
I agree he would have oposition, the mando known as Fenn Shysa, one of the last Mandalorian protectors and the person who cannon suggests would be the next mandalore in 15 years

Especially after just finishing Sacrifice by Karen Travis, I really like this plan. Ciella as well as Kai. Triskal has some Mandalorian roots from before she was a Jedi. I've really got to type up her history for you guys. I have it in two composition notebooks. sweatdrop
I'm quickly becoming quite fond of the Mandalorian people and I'd be ecstatic to see some mesh in with our story. It'd also bring a more practical and easy to deal with hand to our plot and characters.
We depend on the force and mysticism a lot with all our characters. We don't have many, if any, practical characters who just see something and get it done by their own logic and power. Mandalorians would bring a more hand to fist element in and help us get things done a little more efficiently and quickly. They wouldn't need to wait on the force or propriety or politics to get something done. They just go by what they think is right and wrong and there. Its done. Successfully or otherwise.
'Course, they could cause as much harm as good as with any people type, but I think it'd flesh our little makeshift world out quite a bit.

ok, so, since nobody has objected I'm going to bring the Nulls back.
The only question now is, will they wear Mando armor, the Arc Trooper Armor or something altoghether new?

it is tempting, but I want them to stand out from the rest of the army... the point of them is to give a much needed edge to dante in the internal war between the Jedi and Nova. When Nova turns on him, and we all know she will, he's going to need them to get him out. plus I doubt that the novians have a T-visor and that is something that will be important to them.

how about this: because i have no way of drawing since my scanner is non existant and my hard drive with the relevant programs on is... well... across the room, I think that this ideaq has merit: When Dante first meets the Nulls they are wearing their own mandalorian armor. Ordo wearing grey armor with Skirata's helmet (gold), Mereel wearing blue armor with skiratas left chest plate (gold), Jaing = green with skirata's right chest plate (gold) Prudii = black with Skirata's center plate (gold), Kom'rk = red with skiratas shin pads (gold), A'den = orange with skiratas wrist bracers (black). Then Nova comes allong and allong with her support she makes them a new version of Canderous Ordo's Mandalore armor. Canderous armorshe'll change it a bit, get rid of the pipes going to his mouth n whatever but she can improve it, use better metal, better internal systems. special customisations for each one... (i.e. a pair of pistol holsters for Ordo, an easily on/off-able sticky net on parts of the body for Mereel's heavy equips, easy access computer slicing equips in the wrist for Jaing, etc...) if y'all like that we just gotta figure on color. the Nulls would prolly say gold to honor their father, but will Nova think of that?
