~Sukari Endshaw~ Suki glanced around at everyone and, seeing that all the details seemed to have been addressed, started towards the mansions front doors. She had gotten a wierd feeling when she glanced around at the group, so she wanted to see if she could find out where it was coming from, the house or someone in the group. She barely stirred the ground beneath her feet, hardly even making any footprints.

~Liza Strathmore~
Liza began walking in the direction of the red-haired girl. She slowed down and seemed to consider something, but then changed direction. She finally took about ten steps toward the house, which still left a good distance in front of her, and stopped.
Liza looked back at the rest of the group. She said, "Are we going inside now?"

~Raven Foxgrove~
Approaching the mansion at a fast speed, Raven turns the handle of her motorcycle to speed up. She was later than she'd thought, having stopped to refuel her bike. She slows down as she nears the gate, spinning to a stop near the other bike that was parked infront of the Mansion.
She flips the stand and gets off, removing her helmet to shake loose her long blueish hair. She grabs her two bags and puts them on the ground next to the bike. "Yo, sorry that i'm so late, had to gas up my ride!, This is the 'haunted mansion', right?"she says to no-one in particular. Her eyes are covered by fancy-looking goggles. She has on an old leather jacket and dark-wash blue jeans with biker boots on her feet. She's also wearing rings on almost every finger and has two necklaces above the jacket(more under it), both of which are protective amulets. "Have I missed anything super important?"

Christian looks to the newcomer for a moment, and decides to pretend to be helpful. She starts talking almost unintelligibly fast, pointing wherever she thinks the finger would be most relevant.
"Killer mansion, locked basement, bag of stuff, no heat, working well, maybe a generator, don't break stuff, caretaker knows stuff. We can call him. And now you're up to speed."

"So no earthshattering news?..No heating? well i guess that old mansions wouldn't have electrical heating.. Oh, if anyone cares, i'm Raven" She says in reply, smiling fakely.

~Skai Lustbader~
Skai looked around at the others, and did not see anyone else particularly interested in going inside - including her own sister. Fear of ghosts? The thought of Alice being afraid of ghosts made her smile.
Nevertheless, there did not seem to be anything else to be discovered by standing around outside, so she hitched her bags onto her shoulders, and stepped up to the house, passing Liza with a nod, and walking up to the front steps.
As she approached the doors she looked down at the steps leading up to them, curious to see if there were any signs of recent entry. She also looked over the doors themselves, before trying the handle of one.

~Sukari Endshaw~ Suki follows the girl to the doors, her bags clutched carefully in her hands. She barely looks up as she approaches the house, concentrating on her senses, searching for evil intent or a dark prescense. Anything that gave her the peculiar chills that accompany the prescense of angry/evil spirits.

The stone steps don't seem to bear much evidence of foot traffic-- in fact, an occasional patch of moss creates the impression of disuse. The ratty hemp doormat sitting in front of the door is in poor shape, but it seems to have been there for quite some time, and it's hard to discern whether or not it's been used recently. As she grasps the door handle, Skai notices something like paper sticking out from beneath the door. A tug on the chilly handle does not open the door; the resistance comes from roughly the same level as the handle, and as far as Skai can tell, the door is locked.
Though Suki pays careful attention to any messages her body might be giving her, she notices nothing out of the ordinary.

Liza observed Skai's nod and felt good about being acknowledged. She decided to pay it forward to the newcomer. "Raven? I'm Liza. Nice to meet you." Not sure what else to do, she extended her arm forward in an awkward cold-weather handshake offer. She felt it was the best she could do to break the ice, at least until they all got inside and found a heat source. Besides, there was always plenty of ice to go round in Effort.

~Raven Foxgrove~ Raven looks at the girl who held out her hand in greeting, "Hello Liza, it's nice to meet you too." She tells the girl, wanting to get inside where it might be a bit warmer. She takes the girls hand in her own, returning the handshake that was offered.

Suki recieve's no warning signs from her body, so she opens her eyes and notices a piece of paper beneath the door. She descide's to pick it up. She takes no notice of the introduction from the new girl.

Skai stepped aside in surprise as the Asian girl reached practically between her legs to snatch the paper from under the door before Skai could even bend down to pick it up. She put up her hands and said, "Easy, now," while backing away. If this girl was that eager, and that rude, she was welcome to have the paper - just as long as she didn't knock Skai over in the process.
"It's locked," she annouced to everyone, then started feeling around the door frame, and peeking under the doormat, to see if a key had been left.

"Sorry about seeming over-eager, its just, i'm not used to waiting around for others to notice things like this piece of paper." She waves the paper a little, then holds it out to the girl. "I wouldn't have knocked you over."

Skai's search reveals no trace of a key, and though the doorframe appears weathered, there is no indication that the door would give way. For anyone close enough, the small piece of paper has a bit of florid-looking handwriting on it. Though difficult to read, a closer look would reveal the following phrase: [sic]

~Skai Lustbader~
Skai continued feeling around the door, and looking around the door and steps for a key. "If you say so," she replied absently to Suki as she searched, "Well, what does it say?" There was no key to be found around the door, and it was locked. This would normally not be much of a problem as it was an old bit-type skeleton key design used in old locks which even she could easily pick, but she did not want to let everyone know that either she or Alice could do that kind of thing. At least, not yet.
The key could be in the bag the blonde girl had, but on the other hand they were told they were supposed to open the bag inside. Has Marzipan Yui forgotten to give them the key? She looked at the eager Asian girl again - or did the note in her hand tell her where the key was, or that they should use another door?
