"Very well," Sven says, then keeps his horse in pace with Zerlegen's creature

Nascha smiles at Angaya's comment before giving one last glance back at the little girl. Likes cats, isn't that lovely.
Digging her heels into her horse's side she breaks out into a gallop and is soon right behind Sven and Zerlegen as they all come up the hill to the destroyed town beyond. After Zerlegen parts, Nascha looks out on the rubble with saddened features.

"And if you see anything religious . . ." Sven spoke up, "Any possible remnants of piety or anything devout please inform me. I seem to find that the towns struck first are those of religious relevance . . ."

"When someone extends their hand, your supposed to shake it. It's a gesture that human's use when they meet someone for the first time."

Vincent had recognized the expression on her face; he too wasn't very good at things like hand shakes when he first came back from exile. Vincent kept walking while he said it. He was slightly proud of himself; he had used the correct enlightened tone of voice when he spoke the words, preventing them from sounding harsh. He smiled and shook his head slightly.

"No you go ahead and join them, and don't wait up for me. I think I'll hold back and cover the rear flank incase of an ambush."

Suddenly the Necromancer spoke out, she was saying something about scouting a near by ruined town. Letting out a half laugh half wheeze sound, Vincent pulled his long sword from the sheath slowly and it made a long metallic sliding noise like metal being sharpened. He set the massive blade on his shoulder and held onto the handle, balancing the blade. Slowly he started forward, interesting that the necromancer had told them to stay insight of each other and she goes and runs off. Vincent thought that she really underestimated them.

"Oohhh" Angaya's eyes became huge. "Now I understand. Thank you."
She was happy with this discovery.
I am going to learn a lot with these people...

She listened carefully to Zerlegen.
The sound of the blade froze Angaya's blood. She did not like this place. It was far too...dead for her.
Guardian of Balance...this is NO balance!

She reached the ruins following Sven. She knew how to fight...in theory...but she felt so overwhelmed by all the destruction and death around her, that she did not know if she could concentrate on any living particle around in case of an attack.
What she hated even more what her feeling of the Beast. She could feel the mood of the people surrounding her but strangely and as it has been the case since the Beast appeared she did not feel serene, nor safe. As if the Beast was constantly there...
She shook her head and tried to analyze what was around her.
Looking up to the vampire, she dared "Why would they attack the religion...?"

Sven roots around the buildings to find any stained glass, which is more commonly associated with chapels, so he might find the remnants of a church. Hearing Angaya he looks over his shoulder and gives her a small smile.

"I'm not quite sure . . ." he grunted, bending down to move a plank of wood. "But, from what I've noticed, every town or city with the largest of chapels or synogogues or cathedrals has been destroyed first. That along with universities. The only unfortunate thing is this may tell us why the cities are being destroyed, but not about the particular order they are destroyed in."

At last finding the expected stained glass Sven looks around and see's a crucifix. "Ah . . . here we are." he murmurs, pulling out a large cloth and holding it towards Angaya. "Could you be a dear and pick that up for me please and tell me if it's wet at all. When you hand it to me be sure to keep it covere in the cloth. I can't touch it."

Nascha watched as Angaya staed with Sven and decided she'd go the other way. It was smart to keep in pairs so the cat woman stepped a distance behind Vincent as she looked around.

"Hope you don't mind me tagging along." She said to him, her eyes scanning the ground.

Listening attentively to what Sven had to contribute the necromancress makes a mental note of such. Kneeling in the dark she once more infuses her eyes with ghoul energies to illuminate the environment within her sight. Zerlegen hesitates and looks over to watch the others joining, cheeks warming barely.
You're so picky about organization. Let these bodies pitch in, you can't always retain a tight grasp on the reins.
She must accept also that the others are living, not undead and not loyal missionaries. It'll be alright to nudge them in the correct direction every once in awhile at least and keep check on supplies and such. Rummaging for power the necromancress slowly begins to walk around one patch of clear space in a triangle pattern, staff resting on a slab of limestone. Zerlegen raises her hands and covers her mouth with them, just barely, murmuring incantations into her palms to muffle the Dead Call from the party. Throughout this her footwork speed increases, her amethyst eyes glow softly like unworldly embers. Soon dead bodies animate and begin to drag themselves towards her, eager for a chance at vengeance as well as a lower form of secondary life. With a good amount of moaning dead around her the necromancress turns, extending an ermine hand to her staff...only to have something very solid and blazing hot collide with her upper back. Crying out in surprise and pain Zerlegen rolls to the side in mid air, reaching an arm out to catch herself from falling, standing quickly to find her staff gone.
"No!"
On a nearby rooftop the goblin cackles, wielding his blazing flail. On his iron breastplate is an engraved 'A'. He whistles and off in the distance, Zerlegen's hound howls as it's mutilated. Bursting through one of the walls a minotaur bellows and snorts as it leers at the necromancress, stomping towards her and swinging up his battle axes. She's very vulnerable as she can only summon with her staff in hand. Looking over to the two nearest who seem unoccupied, Zerlegen views Nasche and Vincent.
"Please, help!"
She stumbles back as the minotaur stomps rubble her way, causing her legs to buckle.

Angaya was about to take the crucifix in her hand when she heard Zerlegen's scream. Angaya might have been a shy person but some words could change her in one second and "Help" was one of them, especially coming from one person she knew. Without answering Sven she ran into the direction of the cry.

She arrived insight of the necromancress to see a monster ready to cut her in half. Without thinking, Angaya kneed on the floor or more threw herself on the floor, putting both her hands into the soil. A noise like a humming seemed to grow from the floor and two enormous roots appeared on the side of the fiend, surrounding quickly his arms and preventing him from moving. However the strength of the monster was not natural and Angaya knew that they would have to act quickly.
"That wont hold him long. Run!!" she shouted at Zerlegen.
She noticed that the necromancress did not have her staff... looking around, she asked in a hurry
"Where is your staff?"
Angaya knew her strengths...and her weaknesses. Almost everything around was dead or dying and she had not been trained for that. She could use Life only for the moment.
We better move and have the other come or we wont last long...

Then an idea came to her mind, she recalled a training with a bull...
this is not far from it...and it is alive
Restricting herself from running into the opposite direction, Angaya turned back to the minautore.
Just breath and concentrate
Slowly, Angaya closed her eyes, focusing on the monster and on his hate. She was literally glowing at that moment, but calming down a monster was no easy task.
if only I could gain some time
She opened her mouth again "Zerlegen, run" she said with closed eyes.

Nascha hears Zerlegen's shout and looks up to see her distress. She thinks quickly, there isn't much she can do. However, there is one thing she knows will work. Pulling her pin back from the pouch she pricks her finger again and set up another Phase Link. This took all of five seconds and Nascha was off. She didn't pay any mind to what was going, only consentrated on geting the necromancer out of the way. Running quickly and stopping at her side the Cait Sihde touches the woman's shoulder and Phases her out of the minotaur's direct path.

Sven runs after Angaya quickly and sees what the girl does to stall the beast but it wouldn't last long. Then he looked to what she was currently doing and it made no sense to him. So he pulled his crossbow and trained it on the beast ready to shoot when it moved.

Vincent could hear the battle raging a few meters away, and he had walked off in the opposite direction. He had seen what had happened and he had decided that four people could handle one minotaur easy, he had other fish to fry at the moment. Looking up to the roof he could hear the cackling goblin, a minotaur was just a mindless beast, but a goblin possessed intelligence of some level, and they could speak. As Vincent approaches the house a crystal stairway starts to for in front of him leading up to the room, with each step he took, he made another icy foot hold every time just before his foot collided with thin air. Soon the stairway was complete and the ugly little creature was standing looking over the scene triumphantly. He giggled glee fully and danced back and forth singing.

"Master 'll be so proud of me, Master 'll be so proud of me,"

Vincent walked silently and swiftly over to the goblin before he knew he was their. Trying not to laugh at how ridiculous the creature looked was a hard task, but he held his complexion and with a black icy voice so cold you literally would have sent chills down your spine, he spoke.

"And just who this Master you speak of,"

"Oh my Master is the one who destroyed the..."

"Please do go on, it was getting so good,"

The goblin started to turn slowly in horror now understanding the grave situation he was in and when he saw the man's frozen complexion he flipped out and started throwing fire left and right, but such weak level fire magic was not even close enough to melt his ice as each fire ball fizzle into smoke as they came in touch with small thin icy plates that absorbed the attack. The goblin fell back in shock. He was on the verge of tears.

"M-m-monster! Your a monster!"

Vincent just gave a blank cold stare.

"So what does that make you then? I'll tell you what that makes you..."

Vincent out stretched his hand and with his pointer finger touched the goblin dead center in his grimy little forehead, and he was instantly frozen in a layer of ice. He wasn't dead though, his eyes could still be seen darting back and forth.

"A Gobcicle,"

Striding forward Vincent picked the creature up with ease and started back towards the others. Hopefully they had subdued the minotaur by now. If not, He guessed that he was going to have to fight a little bit more.

Angaya felt the presence of Sven, next to her. She had not decided if she wanted to calm the creature totally or let the vampire kill it.
Something strange was happening, the Minotaure seemed to be confused, he was not going forward, nor backward. Holding his head, the creature was almost crying, not knowing what to do. His previous wrath seemed to be letting place to something close to sadness but still, the beast was not quiet.

Angaya made up her mind, she could not stop it.
Without breaking her concentration, Angaya's lips starting moving slowly.
"Sven, I cannot control it. Please kill it ...quickly."
I am a Guardian of Life...how can I do that...
and Balance... whispered her mind.
Tears started running on her cheeks as she told the vampire to finish the bull creature.

Vincent came out from behind the corner to find that they still hadn't taken down the minatour, he was in disbeilf. Walking forward he saw the vampire take aim and he stopped dead. He had almost forgotten. Setting down the goblin he looked the creature right in the eye and quickly whispered something to it, if it could have nodded it would have.

Instantly to prevent an accident Vincent put up a wall of ice between the vampire and the minatour and with a loud crack, the spell the goblin held over the minatour vanished and the beast returned to a groggy state.

Vincent stood up and started towards the girl clinging to the minatour, and he laughed.

"You can get down now, I promise he won't hurt you. Now that he's returned to normal, he souldn't be any threat. I give you my word, minatours are normally docile, this one was under a mind spell, he couldn't know right from wrong."

Vincent patted the creature playfully.

Trying to maneuver away from the bullman as instinct would have such, even with Angaya's warning, the necromancress suddenly feels a hand on her skin and looks over. She's suddenly been transported by Nascha and a great wave of nausea hits her from the strange sensation of Phasing. Zerlegen feels rather frustrated with herself although she knows it isn't according to her own faults. Necromancy requires a physical catalyst that has been customized by the person wishing for such energies. Watching on she is grateful to find Vincent has collected the goblin responsible for this whole event of turmoil. More so she is flustered by the sudden mood swing of the goblin but recalls how not only humans have magick. The minotaur now is snorting softly and blinking slowly, tilting his head to the ice element's touch. His battle axes are very loose in his colossal hands. Zerlegen gives a nod to Nascha in thanks along with a small smile. Barely keeping that smile she meekly approaches near to the group around the minotaur and glances to Vincent.
"Thank you for that...", she would've added a quirk but could find none that surpasses her gratitude. Now amethyst spheres fall upon the goblin's chest plate, the 'A' engraved upon it is in the same fashion as the one on her bag. This causes her spirits to crash in anguish., "...mind releasing his face for a little while Vincent? I'd like to interrogate him before I kill him."

Angaya was breathing heavily. She had used a lot of energy to try to control the Minotaure and she had battled hard. She now understood why the process did not work as usual.
I should have thought about it...

She passed Vincent without a word. She was angry at herself and at him.
I am not scared of animals. I could control this one as I wish now...the problem was that he was already controlled... she thought, boiling up against the ice-man and his pride.

She touched the enormous beast and splitted from the group, the monster following her like a dog. She needed some air and to regain her strengths.
The others could hear her whispering, but could not catch her words.

"Sure why not I'll release the little freezer burn, but first..."

Vincent walked a few feet awat and put his foot on a lond object on the ground, and in on motion he pulled his foot back, causing the staff to spin up allowing him to catch it on the top of his foot and then kick it up to his hand where he snatched it out of the air. He started back towards her with the staff in hand. He extended it out and handed it to her.

"I beive this is yours, go nuts."

He clicked his fingers and the ice casing around the goblin deteriorated and the creature dropped to it's knees gasping grotesquely for air. The creature looked arounf frightened with no where to go. Vincent whispered softly so it couldn't hear.

"It said that this was his master's doing, as was the destruction of the town."

Vincent looked after the girl, she had seemed insulted, he guessed it must have been something he said, but he didn't want to get her anymore angery than she was, so he decided against going after her, but he still kept a watchful eye on he from a distance, since the area could still be hostile.

She smirks maliciously from the display and takes her coveted item once more.
"Thanks hotshot.", turning her loathing gaze upon the bamboozled goblin Zerlegen frowns slightly from the ice elementalist's next words and mutters a reply without taking her gaze from the goblin, "Truly not the sweet words to say to a woman, truly." this is a half hearted jest as she now rounds upon the goblin. Seeing the little being trying to scamper off the necromancress lunges, spearing her staff's gem through the back of his knee to pin him to the street.
"You'll never get away! He'll kill you AND your precious city!" sputters the goblin.
She gives him a blank stare before walking over to press her foot down on the back of his neck. "He can keep trying..."
"He never loved you!" the goblin now writhes, trying to scratch her legs, anything to flee.
That sentence had no affect upon the necromancress as she yanks her staff out of the gob's leg, "You aren't worth a hex, gob. A staff doesn't need magick to cause pain." raising her scepter with the goblin shrieking, Zerlegen bashes in the back of the goblin's skull a few times. Pulling away she wipes the ribbed staff clean of blood by using her thickly bandaged feet. Now she looks up at Vincent and shrugs, allowing her bag to be in better moonlight. "The 'A' is the first letter of a demon lord's name, Abaddon my husband. Not willingly mind you. If he has anything to do with all of this, we're in for a grand party."
The necromancress kneels and searches the gob's body but doesn't find any message on him. Was this why the demon had wanted her to refrain from accepting the summon? Did he want to kill her in secret? Worst of all Zerlegen's unfortunate curse has probably gotten these people in danger as well. Standing again she looks to the bag that was given to her. It will need to be discarded of before they set up a camp.

Sven's finger hovered over the trigger of his crossbow and he had it well aimed, but his shot was interrupted by a wall of ice. Vincent's doing, he supposed, and quickly brought the crossbow down. Things were handled nicely and nothing perished to his satisfaction. Though Angaya now seemed rather upset about something. He watched her walk away for a moment and let there be some distance between them before slowly pursuing.

Waiting untill they were out of earshot of the others, Sven then lessened the distance between them. "What troubles you, my dear?" he asked kindly hoping to cheer her up.

Nascha feels a little woozy from the Phase as Phasing herself along with another takes a lot more energy than Phasing alone. As soon as it is safe enough Nascha teeters over and leans against a crumbling wall, testing it to hold her weight before letting out a deep breath. A few moments of rest would have her back to bouncing about but for the moment she felt drained.

"Oh well that sounds fun." Nascha murmured sarcastically at what news Zerlegen shared with them. "I suggest we search a bit more before throwing in the towel. there are still a few things I want to check out."
