She flicked her shamrock tail, emerald eyes regarding him skeptically. The female let go and stepped back. "You should be thrilled. Probably wont have another female touch you like that for a long time." Not a hair unnerved by the others claws, not a wit frightened by his 'scary' posture. Then again, she had grown up with pae thinking she was a freak just because her parents got drunk one night. Not much off set her anymore. "But no, not particularly."
They reached the center of the room when the bongo's stopped, having Erylia grab Zana's wrist to stop her, then yank the female back to pose for a finale. Backs together as they had begun, knees slightly bent, and the arms holding the fans fully extended above their heads to shake. A thunderous round of applause...and the old music resumed as the lights became normal again. She heartily laughed, turning to regard whatever touched her should-ooo...Cute. Not like Criofan but...cute. She half smiled, deep violet eyes sparkling. "No, not at all. I'm Erylia." She closed the fan, lowering it to her side. "A pleasure to meet."
The lights, the applause, the thundering of her heart...it was the wildest thing she had ever done, sending her on quite the adrenaline streak...She never wanted to do anything like that again. She gawked at her older sister, shocked beyond words. How...how could she just...go through all that...then flirt, like it was nothing?! Zana wasn't sure if she should be horrified or awe'd or just chalk it up to Erylia being Erylia. In any case, she was disapearing, before any strange man came and asked her to dance. She edged into the crowd.

He chuckled as he sat down and watched the children interact. "I told her that she would know something. Her costume was a bit tough because she'd never stay still for the measurements or the fitting or anything else; I also made this mask for her that took hours like you wouldn't believe, but she wouldn't wear it because she didn't like my work so I had to compromise with her right before we came, but I really wish that she would've worn it because I don't know what I'm gonna do with that mask. I know she has the little mask thing over her eyes, but that doesn't really work if she's gonna be a little goblin for what I'm trying to go for, and I--" He gasped and inhaled deeply, realizing that he had literally run out of air to speak because he hadn't bothered to breathe. "...Sorry."
Eboraria shrugged at the question. Then without warning, she pressed her outstretched arm against her face to mimic an elephant and said, "Rwar, I'm a goblin! I'll eat you up!"
They were relatively close to the entrance, putting them far from the spectacle on the ballroom floor. The pink pae'il didn't notice Haru glide on air through the doorway, but he noticed Jazz because she was the only female voice he could distinguish from other female voices, excluding his two mothers. He felt his palms suddenly grow hot in his gloves. "I should go talk to her," he said, though was still too reluctant to leave his place after just running into his friend.

Texas couldn't help his chuckles when his poor friend ended up breathless. He rubbed his back in an effort to make him feel more comfortable before letting his hands return to his lap. "At least your sister's wearing most of the costume. I'm sure you'll find some use for the mask you made. It'd be a darn shame to let it go to waste, and I know you never would allow that."
That was boring. Magnus wanted to confuse some adults, like the ones that were creating large scenes and attempting to flirt with each other. He shook his head, lowering her arm. "No you're not." He grinned deviously. Now how was he going to convince this young one that it was more fun to torment others than pretend to eat people?
His little brother was such a negative influence. Hopefully, he wouldn't convince Eboraria to do anything bad. He shook his head, turning his attention back to the one he loved most. "Who's she?" It wasn't any more competition he had to worry about, right? ...TEXAS! Hyacinthus was not his, no matter how much he wanted him to be.
Unfortunately, drinking three glasses of spiked punch in a very short time period could only yield horrid results. The leprechaun was now a bit tipsy, laughing for no apparent reason and watching all the pretty lights. Of course, one particular light stuck out in his head. Was that... Erylia? His drunken eyes were deceiving him. Criofan rubbed his eyes to confirm that it was. Once he concluded that this was Erylia, he got up to go woo her. Unfortunately, before he could, some green thing was up to no good.
...Why he oughta'... Criofan shook his head. No. He was tipsy, but he was going to be graceful. Instead of sloppily shoving Devyn out of the way, he casually strolled nearby the conversing teenagers and said nothing, watching like a hawk waiting to strike.

Oh great...another female with a bad attitude. Why in Telrunya were there so many of those around? And why did they seem so attracted to Kane...?
Snarling softly, he felt as if he was going to lose whatever was left of lunch at her comment. "Don't insult me with such disgusting insinuations. You keep your hands to yourself and we'll both be happier."
This one seemed weirder even than the ones in the past. "Well, if you didn't want anything, then you shouldn't have clung to me like some frightened child. Afraid of the dark, sweetheart?" Kane smirked darkly, unable to resist the cheap jab after she'd already taken one at him. At least in his mind.
His tail was twitching back and forth behind him, betraying his mild irritation and he readjusted his wings slightly on his shoulders trying to calm down outwardly.
Devyn smiled, no sign of his fangs at the moment. He still had that under control. "Such a beautiful name," he commented, taking her hand and raising it to his lips for a chaste kiss. "It befits such a beautiful lady." He raised his eyes only, head still lowered, flashing her a winning smile again.
The other female seemed to have disappeared in the meantime, but no matter; he could always try and find her again later. For now, he already had one beauty to keep him busy. The green demon offered her his arm, escorting her onto the dance floor...when he nearly stumbled over another Pae. He frowned, looking the male over for a moment...he seemed...unwell? Unsteady at the least, though he moved on his way without a word, so Devyn shrugged, deciding that meant he was okay. Not his concern.
Smiling at Erylia again, he gestured outwards with his free hand. "Shall we, milady?"

"Ah, I see, so you swing the other way. Never would have thought." Oh...no...he did not go there. The female lightly blushed, eyes narrowed slightly from behind the mask at the cheap jab, her own tail flicking again in irritation. What to say, what to say, couldn't let him win... "Hardly. But if something was going to come into the darkness, I was going to have my meat shield." Ha!
Her lips parted slightly with the surprising charm, raising her closed fan to her lips as he softly kissed her hand. "And what would be the name befitting such a mysterious lad?" Well, it was obvious they were still the same age, and he had fairly popped out of no where. That was mysterious enough for-she stepped back as another pae ambled past, swaying slightly dispite all his grace...She knew that pae. It was the one that had had all that...punch. She looked over at the buffet table, where she had left her drink after only one sip. The female debated on finishing it. Later. She flashed the green pae a smile after one last glance at the tipsy male, and moved towards the dance floor, the skirt of her dress swaying with her hips.
