T-demon aka Kuma I don't really see a problem with the guns so much, just a little annoyed at the idea of an advance weapon being put on avatars. I always loved how Gaia made ancient weapons such as swords or staffs. You know, things that have that martial art feel to it. Guns its... not as... well, you can't really say you practice with a gun for the sake of the art.

I'm all for guns. What we need is Idiot Control Laws.

I find guns to be distasteful, and their use by the general public to be dishonorable. Those individuals who spend a great deal of time with guns honing their use, they meet with my approval. It's not even a violence issue for me.
It is that most guns these days lack soul, and their users lack commitment to the study of how to use their weapons. Guns are mass produced and require basically no work for their user. Good swords required study, and their construction took a great deal of time and care.
There is no honor in guns. The only honor is to those who respect their weapons. That eliminates most people who use them only as tools, which is almost everyone.

I love my new MC's the assassins Guise looks nice and when you ad the oculus magnus in fire mode, it's just all forms of neatness for me...heh, I'm da evbil assassin *grins as he runs around a bit all stealth like*

meh. those who should not be given weapons will be happy, towns, role play, chatterbox, and most other things will be overrun by god-moding snipers who appear out of no were. what ever happened to spot checks? anyways, the loincloth thingy looks spiffy, along with the cloak. the guns, not so much. I could not tell what the hell that "pistol" was until I read the description, but that art one is just ******** majestic.

I doubt that has very much at all to do with it. And that most other weapons today are decorational? It still doesn't change what they ARE. Edit: Well, you can't answer for anyone other than yourself. So why do YOU think this way? Did you miss the part about my grandfather getting shot? I'm also a hardcore liberal so perhaps it's just as simple as that. I just think differently. Well, my grandfather was killed when a tree he was cutting down fell on him. I'm not anti-tree. Sorry if I sounds incredibly insensitive. I doubt I'll get anywhere talking to you, just go around in circles forever. If you want to be anti-gun, go ahead. not to make a political joke here... but... You are conservative, no? To the liberals, that means you are anti-tree! (It's a knee slapper!) As a Christian, I'm going to say that i would never own a gun because a gun's main purpose is to inflict harm on other human beings. As a Christian, I am supposed to be a pacifist. I don't think you can particularly use the guns-can-be-used-to-kill-animals excuse in this case, because, A. These guns have the appearance of military weaponry-- which is generally used for... fighting Nazis... or something, and B. What animals are we going to kill and eat in our virtual world? I agree with Miss Jiang in that these guns are simply too realistic. A lazer or star-trek like stun gun would have been a better choice. Less people would have freaked out because both objects are entirely fictional. and those, good people, are my two cents.
