Kisses!
The first thing my grandmother would say when she came to see us was "Give me some sugar!" (meaning kisses)

Parents - I'm so grateful I have good, loving, patient parents - I'm sure I'm a better parent because of them!

STITCHES - They sometimes happen when siblings get in fights - like when my two boys were when one of them swung the baby gate which clipped his brother right by his eye. That was a fun night!!!
(Good news is that was the last fight they had that got 'physical'. I think it scared them both!)

blood- when my brother was young he used to jump off the stairs at my grandma's house. He would get higher and higher trying to see how far up the steps he could jump. One day he jumped up and hit his head on the corner of the ceiling. My brother was rushed to the hospital and had to get stitches. It was the last time he jumped off the stairs. LOL my grandma, a red head who wanted someone to inherit her red hair, said she had a read head grandchild for a short time.

cringe - every time I have seen one of my children bleed I cringe inside. I handle it better when it is my own!

BABYSITTERS!
I definitely need the time-out more than my kids do. I'm really lucky because when my boys were small I had a ready supply of babysitters as I work with teenagers!
My girls have never had an outside babysitter - THAT'S THEIR BROTHER'S JOB!

ice cream - You could always buy one little carton of extra expensive good stuff and have a "date night" with just the 2 of you at home while you give each other a quick massage and 1/2 the ice cream!
