Bell felt very tired. She could hardly move. Her muscles were screaming in pain and her lids were getting heavier by the second. Sleep was all that she desired... She couldn't keep it up. Bell sagged and nearly lost her footing.
"Try... Try an Ice Beam, Bell," Renekai suggested softly. This was taking a toll on both Pokémon, Renekai knew.
Bell gave a half-hearted effort. A golf-ball sized ball of ice formed in Bell's beak. Unsatisfied, the exhausted Delibird added a bit more power. The ball swelled. With a heave, Bell managed to force out a thin stream of ice to encircle the already incased bird. If the ice were thick enough... If Prince was tired enough... It just might work...

No dice, (lol) the attack missed. Bell was really past her limit right now, and still trying so hard. However the Pidgeot was free now and the pieces of his ice cage scattered across the floor. He stood, watching Bell.
"Prince, just....use a slight gust attack." She stated, watching the ailing Bell. It was in the bag, no need to hurt her more than was needed to knock the health down to zero.

Bell stood rigid against the attack. The winds made a small nick just below her eye. Bell remained standing, her lids half-closed. The light was gone from her once-mischievous eyes. Bell wouldn't fall.
"What's going on?" Renekai wondered. "Wait! She has fainted! She's fainted standing up! Bell!"
At the word 'Bell', the Pokémon fell over. It seemed to take ages before Bell finally hit the floor, her eyes closed.
Renekai ran to her Delibird's side. "You did well, Bell..." Renekai whispered, a gentle smile on her face. She returned bell to her Pokéball, then stood to face Choppi. "You and Prince did well. Let's do this again sometime." Without another word, Renekai turned on her heel and walked away. The pair may have lost the battle, but they hadn't lost their dignity.

Choppi leaned forwards and patted Prince's head with a small smile. "Thankyou, you did SO well Prince. Luna would be proud. "Return?" She asked, holding out the open pokeball. Prince nodded before returning into the pokeball for a well deserved rest.
Choppi gave the top of the pokeball a small kiss, and then holding it close to her chest looked up at Renekai walking away. She only wished that she could have talked with Rene more, and told Bell a job well done.
"Thankyou for the battle Renekai, Bell." She whispered, before turning away, and heading out of the arena, her first win under her belt. She attached the pokeball onto her hip as the stadium's electric field fizzed out. Time to head to the Poke'center.
