Nightdevil tilted his head, admiring the kit's tenacity with the snake, and nodded to Midnightstar, beginning to back out of the nursery. "I'll be back later to check in with you, Midnightstar, I think I'm going to go hunt though. The freshkill pile isn't doing so well with this frost." The red and black tom dipped his head to his leader before exiting completely and padding over to the camp entrance, flicking his tail once or twice before leaving.

 Phantomgaze walked toward the nursery with a frog in his mouth. He wasn't sure if Moonstar or the kits were hungry, but it didn't hurt to take some fresh-kill to them in case they were.
As he neared the nursery, Nightdevil was just leaving. Phantomgaze nodded his head in greeting before approaching the entrance.

 From his furry nest at Moonstar's side, Plumkit's tiny nose began to twitch. And twitch. And twitch. He opened his eyes to a drowsy half-mast and stretched his paws out, pressing prickly claws into Moonstar's front leg.
"Frog?" the kit inquired sleepily, nose aimed at the scent.

 Ebonykit wasted no time hopping over her siblings and waddling over to the new comer in the den. She tilted her head and looked him over. "You look like snow! You bring that for us? You bestest warrior I bet, save my momma and dadda yes I bet yesh!"

Nightdevil had returned sometime after sunhigh with a sour look on his face. Clenched in his jaws was a small toad and a chipmunk; hunting had not gone well for spending as much time as he had out there. His tail whipped to and fro as he padded over to the half-frozen freshkill pile and deposited his prey. Then, as an afterthought, the Tom grabbed up the chipmunk again and padded back over to the nursery. This would mark his second visit in the same day, and he figured he might as well bring something warm to his leader and her kits. When he reached the den, he found that it seemed to be a lot emptier than it had been previously, although Phantomgaze was still inside. Nightdevil padded into the warm nursery and nodded to the eerily glowing tom before settling on his haunches and dropping the rodent between his forepaws to gaze at Midnightstar's kits; they seemed to be a lot more active now. Nightdevil noticed that Phantomgaze had also brought something for the nursing leader and nodded again in approval. "Sorry, it's not much, Midnightstar," he began, indicating his gift, "but at least it's not frozen." His tail tip flicked again, a reminder of his recent frustration with the hunting expedition.

Moonstar nodded to Nightdevil when he left, and meowed a greeting to Phantomgaze as he entered. Her ears flicked when Plumkit's whiskers touched her side many times, and passed a leg to him. "Yes, frog."
Darkkit pounced on her sister. "No, Foxtrot's dah best, dehn Twilightmoon, then Snowypelt! Foxtwot was here first!" She mewed, adding, "With no disrespect tah you, Snowypelt." to Phantomgaze.
((Okay, I'll clear it up. She says Foxtrot's cool, but the Mommy thing was when Larksparrow rolled on her back and went into a crouch, which freaked her out. XD

Foxtrot chuckled at the kits antics. He enjoyed seeing the livelykits playing amongst themselves. He smiled at them and sat watching.

((Uck...I still remember the Flatsalearguement. ><;;; So hard to remove from memory. DX ))  Foxheart entered the nursery, bearing no food. He suspected that the older warriors would bring fresh-kill. He did, however, have a leaf that had a crescent-like marking in it, that he had found near a tree, and had probably been part of a nest. As he laid it down, he noticed Foxtrot, and mewed, "Hello, Foxtrot!"((I want him to say 'what's up' sooo badly. XD ))

Foxtrot smiled and nodded to Foxheart. Thay had been somewhat close friends in aprenticeship, but had grown apart when Foxtrot had become deputy. He remembered taunting a Thunderclan patrol once, he remembered the looks opn their ugly mugs he almost laughed now.

"Hello, Foxheart. Is that a leaf?" Moonstar asked.
"Yeah. I found it a little bit after all the leaves fell from the trees. Isn't it weird?" He showed her the crescent. "It's a crescent-leaf!" He laughed, and looked at his old mentor. What was with him? He had changed so much...

Ebonykit squeaked as Darkkit pounced her, she rolled and batted her paws at her sister. "No! I like snowypelt warrior, but not more the Mommy,Daddy! I like who I want! Hey! Let play!" Ebonykit said slipping away from her sister the crouching. "I snowypelt you can't see me cause I blend in with the snow! Ha!!!!"
((Oh yeah XD Tuxedopelt wishes to tell Moonstar or ChaosStar that he is ready to take an apprentice when one next becomes available and I was wondering when we could have an rp with him saying that to one of them))

 "Sorry I couldn't get here sooner," Spottedheart said as she slipped in to meet the new kits. "The fresh-kill pile doesn't refill itself."
She hadn't brought any prey with her; she had assumed that other cats had already brought some. Instead she had a pile of leaves with her, which she pawed into the air to see if the kits would try to catch them.

((Anytime after the Gathering. Last time it wasn't very formal, cats just said 'I want that one.' Which reminds me, when these kits become apprentices, Moonstar needs to take Silverpaw to the Highstones.
And I have a name for him. 'Silvercrow'. Because crows are annoying, and are a little weird. xd
If Infi doesn't have a name fore him already.))
"You're weird." Darkkit said, looking over at her sister. "I'm Foxtrot. I have authority over yooouuu!" She pounced once more, her foot making the crescent leaf fly as she ran past.
"Thank-you for coming, Spottedheart." Moonstar nodded. "Fresh-kill doesn't leap onto the pile itslef, you're right."

Swiftcloud entered and saw Foxheart, "Oh, hi I didn't see you there." He then joked around with a kit, "You'd better hide, there are foxes in this den." As he he saw the kit's disbelieving face he said, "Fine, there are no foxes but there is, freshkill." So he put down a frog on the bedding.
