It's b/c the band is soo much better! At my school the band starts the cheers and the cheerleaders join in!

gandalf7863 Im wondering why cheerleaders hate the band I mean we never done anything to them but why do they hate us. just cause were not atheltic and wear tight and play foot ball we are still cool in our own way. mrgreen Hope you like Same reason the band hates the cheerleaders.

Nobody in my band hates the cheerleaders...Like I said earlierm, my band has 2 girls that are in band and are cheerleaders...(one being my gf)

um... Our cheerleaders love band... They love us more than the football team... but that's not saying much........ (our football team kind of stinks)

our cheerleaders hate the band because we made them do the hocky pocky for an entire half while we had a hocky pocky war with the other school''s marching band at an away game ^_^*

Honestly, I think it' because band people are just as popular and well-known as they are. Seriously, there is 1 guy and girl from band nominated every year for homecoming king and queen. The drum major even won 4 years ago (sadly I was still in 8th grade). And they're nominated (and sometimes win) for other dances too (like winterfest and prom). So we basically take the spotlight away from them and all their hot football player boyfriends mrgreen

The cheerleaders at my school hate my band becuz we take their thunder at games.

OUr band dislikes the cheer leaders cause everyaway game we have to pay for the gas of the bus we go on and they don't pay us anything in return. Then we mess them up and there squard leader has to talk to our band director. Then when there flirting to guys we start talking about stupidest moments they make then the guys start laughing at them then they go cry. Cause they thinkk they can get any guy they want with out getting laughed at. And how come cheerleaders don't go out with band people.

I think that they are really think there all that cheering and getting anything they want. Its very irritating They have guys follow them around and tey get all the credit even though its us playing the music. I mean we sould get credit inside we get knock into lockers and beat up. Cause we say somthing bad about the cheerleaders when they make fun of us all the time.
