Chris smiled as he saw her home. "I think its an improvement. I like the new house." It felt good knowing he had a place he could return to if needed. "Well.. I think we might have all the spices you need." He told her as his hand left his pocket holding a fair-sized bag with multiple smaller bags of spices.
"Nobody said i ever stopped cooking when I departed the first time." He told her with a smile. "So hopefully I didn't forget anything." Chris was extremely happy. This was the largest improvement since a few days ago. When he arrived battered up, bleeding, and wearing only ruined clothes. Now he had a few sets of new clothing, reunited with a friend, and a fair amount of money to get him by for a while.

"Yeah?" She smiled big, "Me too! When me n' mom saw it it was perfect! AND for a good price no less."
She nodded as they headed towards the house smiling.
She laughed, "Never even thought it! I'm sure its fine... I've had enough time to grow and gather enough ingredients just in case anyways." She smiled proud of herself.
She remembered often times She and Chris would team up and cook for the gang and family. It was always fun. She looked over to her house again. Again my kitchen can be filled with memories of us... She blushed. ...Awkwardly romantic... I'm gonna shut up now... She looked up in the thought hoping the blush wasn't noticeable.

Of course Chris wasn't exactly that unobservant. So nothing really stopped him from mentioning the boys earlier comment. "So is what the little one said that bad?" He asked teasingly as they approached the door.
"Ah you don't have to answer..." Chris said a few seconds after his last comment. He stopped just short of the house to stretch a bit. Though his curiosity was sparked about what her answer woulda been. It probably was best he left it alone for now.

"Hmph I remember a time when Ennersafe was not so lenient when it came to murdering fellow Enforcers, but i will admit times have changed, saving face in front of the public is hardly one of their top priority's anymore"
Jubei could tell that this boy truly was possessed by a smiler will to fight powerful opponents at any cost
"I have to ask, how confident are you in your skills, murdering comrades is something you can be court-martialed for, you must have a very impressive record to think that they will just forgive and forget"
Then a hard glint formed in Jubei's eyes
"Or maybe you intend to show them just how powerful you are, despite whatever judgment they pass"

So much for hiding. Her face burned up and brows drew together. If there was anyone who know how to push her buttons Dart and Chris would've been friggin' mentors at it. Though his offer to keep shut was a relief, she couldn't just not answer.
"I don't know what you're talking about," She looked away, " I just didn't like that lil' twerp is all."
She tried to hide her face as she rushed ahead to open the door.

He smiled a little bit. "Its good to be home..." He said with warmth obviously showing in his voice. Though she probably was fumbling with the lock because of his comment.
With a slight stretch he walked in as she managed to get the door open after a few seconds. "So think mom is sleeping?" He whispered to her as they walked in the house.
It seemed fairly pleasant inside. Though.. a little empty. Like people were missing.

"What a nestalgic phrase, isn't that what always happens when one or two organizations gain to much power, then get drunk off it, then the commanders send their puppets out to do thier dirty work, I'm tierd of being ordered around.(leons hands are now tightly clenched fists)All I want is to fight, The stronger the person is, the better.
Leon brought his fists to his chest the waved his arms out, simutaniously fireing to fireballs setting another house on fire. "Whoops, I guess I need to calm down." He laughed agin.
"So Jubei, I hear your here for a meating with some higher-ups in Enersafe, You're a mercenary right? To tell the truth I envy you, getting to decide who, or what you fight."Leon Finished.

"Hmn.. She usually doesn't like wasting the days away with afternoon naps unless she feels really 'drained' or whatever it is she says..." Shin looked around and noticing some of the herbs she just pick were missing. "Nah, she's taking a bath."
She smiled and took the chicken from his hands.
"Now c'mon Casanova! We've got work to do... It'll be a nice surprise." She looked up smiling, "MA! We got a guest! He's staying for dinner!!!"
The last part she accidentally let out a bit of excitement in her voice, but didn't mind as she set the chicken on the counter and washed her hands.
"Okay Shin! I'll be done in a bit! The bath is great!"

"my my leon.. such a venomous thing to say." A voice said. The voice belonged to one of the "higher-ups" in EnerSafe. "I believe what Jubei here is saying would be correct...." This was a man who had a medium body-build, auburn red hair, blue eyes, and was wearing a full suit. All in black and red. "I wonder... do you truly think that just because the company has many people who do the office work... that we let ourselves become fat." A full suit of red and black in EnerSafe only meant one thing... a member of the Regulations department. This gentleman's name is Matt Blackheart. And he was quite well known for dropping anyone who broke regulations. And the only person who had a chance against him at this point in time may have been Jubei. "I suggest that you hand in your badge as a EnerSafe Enforcer before I have to restrain you." Matt said in a very simple manner. "Or have you forgotten what happens on strike three?"

Chris smiled a little bit. "Sounds like a plan to me." It only took him a few moments to take his dual-sword sheath off his belt and remove his gloves. And shortly after setting them neatly against the wall he stood beside her as he washed his hands. "Hmm.. think we should make mom's favorite?"
Chris remembered quite well his cooking skills despite having lost 2 years of his life. Though the kitchen was new to him so he would have to slightly rely on her.
((-actually cooks really well IRL... and is a friggen awesome baker-))

Leon turned towards the newcomer,"I know that voice, Matt Blackheart, I must have really done something unfor givable this time, for you to come in person. Though before I hand over my badge, please explain what happens on strike three agin, seeing as you well no I'm not much of a listener."Leon was close to being scared, which is a rare thing indeed, he knew he was no match for Matt, unless some odd event occured and he lucked out.

Clouse was ready to about kick the old lady, she had dragged him around town most the day now. "Come on, they probably went home by now, and I'm still hungry..." The old lady came to a slow stop and nodded a little, then turned around with a somewhat devilish smile, "Why not meet them there then?" Clouse immediately felt a wave a regret, he should have kept his mouth shut, "Wait, what, no. Why are so obsessive? I'm sure you have other hungry people waiting on you too..." It was a last stitch effort, and a failing one at that, "They can eat tomorrow, now come on, I know that girls mother." Clouse was officially beaten, the old lady's will and resolve was just to strong, but who could blame her, being stuck her most your life something like this would be a big thing, no, never mind, he could still blame her, his stomach reminded him of this as it growled lowly. She was lucky he considered her like a grandmother, other wise he would have bailed long ago.

"Restraint.. meaning I break all four of your limbs... and you get to be h dragged before the council of Regulations in a not-so-honorable fashion. And after their judgement... anything from simple imprisonment... to removing all armor... and killing you with a lethal .. and quite painful might I add.. injection." Matt told him in a soft yet dead-serious voice. After all.. he did have the power to do so. And not to mention over the last few years... since his hair-breadth win against Jubei. He has become much stronger at this point. Possibilities were that unless Leon and Jubei both attacked him... Leon would drop quickly if he didn't make the wise decision. "The second choice which I gave you would be turning the one of your two swords issued with your crest in to me now. And you get to keep your honor... and the only thing left to do would be to keep your head down the rest of your stay here in Junon. And returning here would be inadvisable." The red-headed Regulator said with a simple nod. After all.. considering the reflect ring on his wedding finger, that he was currently wearing, and the mithril knuckles on his other hand ( that had quite a few pieces of materia..) It wasn't hard to guess that odds were far from even without help right now.

Shin smiled. She could sink in the moment right now. Of course... They haven't eaten chicken teriyaki with red bean rice since the loss of Dart. Too many memories... Not for her mom.. but for her. Though she couldn't very well rain down the day with such news. So she'd stomach it and in a sense.. it was a night to celebrate anyways.. so why not? She decided she'd spice a soup with the new herbs in it and sample its essence for future reference.
"Sounds good! We haven't had it in a while so mom'll love it!"
((LOL I believe ya! I'm tring to work my way through Japanese cuisine... OMG I had real Japanese style chicken teriyaki the other day! Friggin AMAZING.. Nothing like that other stuff! ... << >> <<... And that's my story lol. ))
