doubledammit i played in the local ravnica opening draft and was sort of disappointed with the outcome....seems like its build r/w in draft or your gonna lose... i beg to differ. R/W can come out fast and strong with the right cards but G/W or G/B will come out in the mid-late game. to draft R/W well, you need all the evasion creatures with the removal to back it up otherwise, G/anything will run over it really fast.

doubledammit i played in the local ravnica opening draft and was sort of disappointed with the outcome....seems like its build r/w in draft or your gonna lose... I have been to 2 ravnica drafts and the first time I played w/g and went 1/3. The second time I went w/r and won. This weekend I'm going to another one and I will probably go u/b because those are the only 2 I haven't drafted yet. And a red card that really helped me in the draft was Sell-Sword Brute I drafted 3 of him and every game got him out on turn 2. Three others were Galvanic Arc (obviously), Rally the Righteous (I got 2) and Skyknight Legionnaire (I got 3).

The last one I went to I won so heres to hoping. personally, i don't go into a draft hoping to go a certain color. i just look at what is given to me and pick accordingly. i usually try G or B unless something really strong of another color is constantly being passed to me however. i need to work on my draft reading skill <_<

Lord Yawgmoth http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=mtgcom/arcana/887 So who thinks there'll be a cycle of allied colored lands like that in Ravnica? I for one think those are the best lands wizards has printed since the fetch lands of Onslaught. 3nodding Just wanted to be the first to show everyone the awesomeness. The new duel lands are fetching extremely high-prices. I pulled a foil Watery Grave last week, and you should have seen what all I got for it. A partial list includes: 2xWrath of God 4xSwords To Plowshares 4xEternal Witness 3xRancor 1xDCI Foil Rancor And that's just a few of them. Anyway, Ravnica kicks the crap out of Mirrodin and Kamigawa, which, sorry to offend anyone but, I thought were two of the worst sets in Magic's History. I mean, in Mirrodin, you could only play a)Ravager Affinity or b)Anti-Affinity. Well, that's all you could play after Skullclamp was banned anyway. And Kamigawa was just Onslaught with different tribes. Besides, it didn't even match Onslaught. So, Ravnica really roaring in my blood system right now.

If I would've come across any other rares I would've done a different deck but, I'm gonna try for a U/B deck.
