Considering the fact this territory had another owner, she began to feel the weight of dread on her pelt. Perhaps it was just from the cold or her tender wound; however, she decided that requestion Hope to come would be best.

Hope looked to the female ulaya with a timid grin. She was hesistant to try anything, in fear that this one was just as unpleasent and the others. She quickly lowered her head and spoke.

"Um...d-d'you really mean that? Or is this some kind of joke?" she asked warily of the other female's intentions.

Anjel wasn't dumb; could smell they were being trailed by the territory's lord. The sudden appearance didn't do much for him though, as his stance - then they jumped out - immediately became defensive, hair on his neck bristeling, ears shot back, till recognition dawned, and he took a seat, ears still back, in a more, begrudginly submissive, way.

He did not like being out of his own lands -- having to play the submissive, respectful, role.
"We're passing through. Escorting the white one." he jerked his head towords Tahila.

Tehila looked from Anjel to Leir as though waiting for them to finish their chatters. She then stepped up and offered a gracious bow before the pair, her stance held low and respectful.

Her eyes flickered nervously for a moment as though thinking to herself. However, she sighed in defeat and used a paw to reach back to retrieve something. A glimmer of the object shined in the light quite brilliantly. As soon as it was taken from her hair, the strands usually held back fell forwards and shadowed her blue eyes.

"It may not be much but it is very dear to me," she set a clip before Hanabi reluctantly. The item seemed to hold a crystal or a stone within its decorations. "would that be acceptable in your eyes?"

"C'mon," Anjel said gruffly. "I do not wish to spend any more time here. He have been lucky. Now let's get moving." And with that, he rose, and began walking in the direction they had been going all along.

His cool blue eyes looked ahead, as his ears strained to listen for any danger. He was well out of his lands now -- here he had no power, or authority. He was begining to feel the weight of the responsibility he had taken on at the begining, and he did. not. like. it.
He cast a glance over his shoulder, and let out a sigh, as he closed his eyes.

There was a reason he was alone. A reason why he knew he shouldn't have done this.
He had failed to save her - failed to rescue someone he had held dear. Death was a heavy price to pay, for that failure. Perhaps some part of him hoped that success on this mission would make up for - slightly - his past.
