That serpant inparticular, no, not much. A possible cause for beleif in sea serpants, yes.

about 3 or 4 years ago, animal planet featured something called "dragons, a fantasy made real" which was probobly more a collection of well-fitting thoeries than actual scientific discovery.

To begin, they said a perfectly preserved dragon was found, there was a gas in it's stomach (or lungs?) that allowed it to float, and it vould burn this gas, thus endangering it's ability to fly at that time, to use it's legendary feature of fire breath. Supposedly, (almost to the serpants now) dragons were around when dinosaurs were, when the meteor hit, dragons took to the sea and eventuall evolved into sea serpants. (that's the thoery given) eventuall,y land became livable again, and by the time dragons walked on land again, people had spread to what is now china. Dragons were still serpants with little legs, the chinese (or maybe japanese?) form of a dragon. eventuall, they evolved to the english vision of dragon, big, had wings and horns, ect. human hunted them to extinction, but that one dragon hid and froze to death in the mountains.

That was what they said, I think, and serpants (I guess) that hadn't gone to land (the loch ness?) were supposedly seen all over the sea.
Did I miss anything serpant related?

They found a preserved dragon with gas in it's stomach?



I don't want to be the one to point out the flaws in that. I would like you to look up the logistics for yourself please, and then quietly back into a corner.
