	He was right. Even some of the kalona would fight it- their children, their mates, being slaughtered. It would take time- and by the time there was a firm course of action, it would be too late. When he asked her a question though, she felt her blood freeze. Why hadn't she gone back? How would someone go about admitting that they were lost...? "That's none of your concern." She said finally, haughtily. "Suffice it to say that I will return as soon as I am able."

	Valarauco didn't quite like her tone. And he was just about quite tired this course of conversation had taken. "Fine. Far be it from me to ask why you would stick around in a place that makes you sick." At this point he didn't really care much what her reasons were. If she were to leave it would be no skin off his nose really. He had seen many come and go through the seasons and it would be no different. He might miss her a bit. Perhaps.

	His tail did look so tempting. And by this point, she was riled, and ready for a good fight. A n** was probably all it would take, her big ol' teeth sinking right into the nerve-filled, fleshy tail... She was moving before she thought about it, aiming for his tail.

	He heard her move. Ears pulled back as he whirled around, whipping his tail behind him and into the air. He knew exactly what she was going for. And he had warned her before. Bright red eyes glared at her as he lifted his head high. "I'd suggest you get those thoughts out of your head..."

	She growled at him, eyes narrowed, tail lashing. "I thought you wanted to play cat and mouse. I was just volunteering to be the cat. It could be quite a relaxing game." Her body was held low, ready to move at a moment's need. "Wouldn't you say?"

	His wings unfurled and flared out as he pawed at the ground. Eyes narrowing into tiny slits as his tail lashed back and forth before he folded up his wings once more. The stallion really wasn't in the mood to get his tail gnawed on. "Its not fair giving me any notice to when a game starts. And why do you get to be the cat?"

	"I don't see any ladies around here." The stallion gave a snort, letting his nostrils ease out of a heavy flare. Run away? Valarauco had never really run away. And he really didn't feel like being the mouse either. This game sucked. Sighing heavily, he spread his wings and with one great flap he was air born. Heading off into some random direction with quite a bit of speed. This might grow boring pretty fast, was all he could think in the back of his mind as he flew. He wasn't going to hide. No. Valarauco was not a hider.

	Well... he was right. She wasn't a lady. And she could tell he wasn't happy at all about being the hunted. Though, the entire game had been his idea. She wouldn't have played if she'd seen anything ELSE to hunt nearby. It wasn't like they'd been hiding themselves, and she couldn't see any deer wandering over towards two predators- 'please, eat me!' She shot up into the air, hovering just above the trees so that she could search his direction. She hit the ground again with a hard thud as she took off from the ground in his direction. Now that she knew his path, she could watch for him. And odd as it may sound, she was certain that she could catch him better from the ground than the air.

	Just because he mentioned the game didn't mean a thing. For a predator, being prey had no excitement to it. Not even in game. Though the stallion had other things in mind as he glided through the air. Letting the winds billow beneath his leathery wings to take him higher into the sky. Watching intensly from up high as Zulimar's figure sped across the ground. This game would be too easy either way. Flapping his wings rapidly, Valarauco picked up speed until he found what seemed to be a decent place to decend. Pulling his wings upwards, the air beneath them escaping as he plummeted towards the ground. Tail snapping this way and that in a moments agitation as he settled his large hooves onto the ground. A few long strides to keep from crashing into the ground and now he was on earth once more. Turning his head slightly to wait for Zulimar to make her arrival.

	She made her chase as quickly as she could, leaping over trees and roots that she knew far too well as she followed the stallion. A few pumps of leathery wings would have her over any watery obstacles, or large holes. Really, she thought she was keeping up fairly well, for all that he was taken to the air. She saw him pull into the dive and ran faster, knowing if he landed where she could not see she would lose him. Her cloven hooves dug deep into the dirt as she propelled herself forward faster. It was through sheer luck that she got a glimpse of him, and she continued her charge forward, running straight forward for the bulky stallion on the ground.

	An ear twisted back as the stallions eyes narrowed. The heavy sound of hooves beating against the earth telling him that Zulimar was not far behind him. Turning his body so that he would be facing her once she caught up, his tail lashing back and forth. In an instant he had spotted her. Heading full steam straight for him like a bat out of hell. Heh. Though he doubted she would be slowing down before she ran straight into him. She seemed to be determined to take this cat and mouse 'game' to the extreme. Well, if he knew Zulimar as well as he thought he had. He still hadn't quite figured her out all the way now. But Valarauco thought he had a pretty good idea how she ran.

	Bat out of hell would be a very astute observation. She was just a very blue bat. Still... "Charge!" the word rang out with amusement as she propelled herself further, playfully preparing to bowl into the stallion. Well, as playful as 2000 pounds of horned, winged muscle could be.

	Valarauco wasn't about to back down. Or take a step to the side. If she wanted to try and bowl him over, well. She could give it her best shot, but the stallion wasn't going to go down easily. And at least without some sort of fight. No. Letting the full weight of his body sink into his legs. He prepared himself for a full on collision with the mare. By this time he was one hundred percent sure she wasn't going to stop. There wasn't enough time for her to stop anyway. At least without looking foolish and falling over herself. Loweirng his head just a bit, eyes locked on Zulimar. But in an instant, he changed his stance and was now propelling himself forward towards her. Hooves digging into the ground as he jumped forward with great power and speed from a nearly complete dead stop. His wings tightened against his sides as he sped towards her. Head lowered more, it would be a hard impact for sure.

	She narrowed her eyes as he turned. They widened again as he statred charging. There was a momentary thought of backpedaling, but.... it would be more interesting if they actually went into a head-butt, wouldn't it? She braced herself for impact, dropping her shoulders a bit so that she would come in a bit underneath his own head, possibly impacting directly with his chest. It would leave the back of her neck open temporarily right when they impacted, but depending on how they hit, it might not matter. She was feeling playful, and angry; so it was actually quite delightful to have the stallion fighting back. He was an intelligent male, and grand company, after all.
