Burning Crimson Android 25 Burning Crimson Excuse my langauge, but they sound like elitist pricks who are trying to establish a name for themself. I've just recieved this PM: Captain Wickit Hello Agent 25.
This is concerning the organization that you are watching who call themselves the Specters. Why does your organization make so many assumptions? I thought that the GIB would do a little more research before calling a mysterious organization "Elitist Pricks". You do realize that all we have done as an organization is post an "S" in our signatures without giving a reason? Our posts may be a little dark, but where is the harm?
I realize that some of our members have gotten out of hand, and even more people trying to go under cover as "Specters" have spread chaos, but this has nothing to do with the organization itself. The people! They are the ones who spread rumors, they are the ones who portray us as the enemy! We are bringing a new era to the world of Gaia, an improvement from its current state!
You are welcome to research until your heart is content, but please, let's not have such a respected organization like the GIB favor assumptions over fact.

Eruravenne Sounds like a bunch of kids with too much time on their hands. But if they want to play mysterious, secret organization, let them. As long as they aren't harrassing people and breaking the ToS, who cares? Likewise, if you guys want to play along for fun, be my guest, but I'm not interested. xp

-Captain Leon Wickit My response: Android 25 One individual doesn't represent the feelings of a whole organization, but you are correct in saying that fact should come before assumption. The stereotype of gothy elitist pricks who puff themselves up in a vain attempt to seek attention comes from every other 'secret organization' that shows up in the forums, and then dies a week later when the mystique fades. They flout and they flout, but after it all they end up as nothing, leaving the rest of us with a bad taste in our mouths and a general intolerence towards the like. The GIB is disliked by many for the same reasons; prejudice, assumptions, and misunderstanding. Still, the Specters have managed to make quite a name for themselves in the past few days. Threads dedicated to 'unraveling your mystery', even an anti-Specter group or two... The people are talking, and we protect the people. We don't mean any harm by investigating your organization and posting Latin on your profiles, just as you mean no harm by putting S's in your signatures, sending PMs, and talking about watching people, but is it not understandable to have attracted our attention when you talk about becoming the rulers of Gaia? You speak of bringing a new era to Gaia, elevating it to a higher, more enlightened state; the Zurg came for the same purpose, and despite popular opinion, the GIB were not dedicated to their annhilation, just to coming to an understanding with them. Again, assumptions over fact. As a representative of the Gaians In Black, I would like to make it known that we aren't looking for a fight, nor are we condemning your organization. You know, I see a lot of similarities between our two groups. We've both been accused of shady dealings, world domination, and being elitist pricks.
Of course, the reason for us is that no one bothered to look into our completely open guild before making assumptions...
As for the specters, well, if you don't want to be accused of keeping secrets, you shouldn't make a habit of whispering behind closed doors.
