Trisste nearly gasped when Li'tae pulled him into a kiss, his eyes wide open as their lips met. It'd been unexpected more than not, and when they finally parted and Li'tae made a comment about Trisste being the real tease, he covered his mouth with the tips of his fingers in both shock and awe.

That wasn't a gentle kiss. That was a kiss he'd seen on movies between lovers. Did that mean...was that Li'tae's way of saying he loved him?

His fingers moved away from his mouth as his face blushed and smiled, his eyes warm as he looked at the youth who was beneath him and looking to the side. It was just like Li'tae to use actions instead of words. Just like him.

So in following, Trisste leaned himself more against the other's frame, his arms moving past him so that they were touching the ground slightly. He didn't really want to fall over as he was sitting like this, so he did what was logical.

"Me too."

- ----

Sionce we pretty fed up with just staying his house as of late, as all it seemed to do was bring more and more people into his life. He'd settled into that area and often refused to leave it for the very reason of having no one around, but that appeared to be impossible.

So, with that thought in mind, he figured he'd have to go n** the stream of people making their way to his house at the root of it all, which undoubtedly was the main headquarters building. From there most people got information about their Hackers, and about him, so going to the man behind the desk and telling him to leave him alone seemed like the best deal.

Only...he hadn't seen or talked to Fiach since the run in with Emile. It made his head hurt a little to think back on the time, as most of it was marred with memories of pain and little else, so he wondered why Fiach hadn't called to ask him about something or stopped by for something.

Had he said anything that could have made Fiach suddenly hate him? Or worse...could he have actually said...it?

Shaking his head to rid himself of those thoughts, Sionce grabbed a coat from the back of his chair and straightened his mask before heading towards the door, his destination in mind the shop.

Feeling Trisste press nearer to him, Li'tae took a deep breath and steeled himself before turning his eyes back to his partner. Assuming that he would meet with some emotion other than warmth, Li'tae was prepared for Trisste to start crying once more about how he hadn't verbally responded to the slip. Surprise touching his face as his eyes met with Trisste's and saw nothing akin to what he'd expected, Li'tae felt his cheeks warm slightly as Trisste responded to the kiss with two simple words.

Pleased that he hadn't had to say anything, but having a small sinking feeling that someday, a kiss wouldn't take the place of the words Trisste had started to say. Sighing quietly with relief, Li'tae raised an eyebrow as he took in Trisste's new position. Chuckling quietly, he muttered in a low voice, "See what I mean?"

Staring in the mirror as he ran a hand through his just brushed hair, Fiach sighed as his hand moved to gingerly touch the remainder of the bruising on his jaw. Noting the pain was gone, but frowning at the yellowish green tinge that it had left, he sighed. At least it didn't look nearly as bad as it had, and he no longer had the constantly obvious reminder of the condition Sionce had been in after that fight.

Grabbing a cap from a hat rack near the mirror, Fiach pulled it onto his head with a little more force than he'd originally intended. Distracted by the thoughts that bruise brought along, and not in a good mood to begin with. Sionce hadn't called him in quite some time - had he really upset him that much by fighting his sister? Or had threatening to force him to get some medical treatment really pushed Sionce too far?

Grumbling to himself, he set off at a brisk pace towards the shop, a scowl apparent on his face as he traversed the path by memory and not by paying attention. The nearer to the shop he got, the more he slowed down - he didn't really feel like working, and knew that handling customers in a bad mood could equal bad news. But, there was work to be done and he had a sinking feeling Adalia wasn't doing much of the large back list during her work day.

"I fail to see your point."

Trisste's words were playful as he stayed leaned against Li'tae, his mind and body rather 'enjoying' the position he was in. It almost gave him a sense of power as well, like for once he was finally dominating over Li'tae who'd always seemed the stronger, and he wondered how long the figure beneath his legs would actually allow that to last.

He knew well and good this was probably possible due to their new bodies and the awkward nature that followed with them, and part of him was worried at what may come once all of the nerves and newness was far behind. Another part of him, however, felt a strange excitement at the thought of what could come, and his face reflected those ideas by suddenly blushing bright red.

Boy, was he glad Li'tae couldn't really see his face directly, as he was sure he wouldn't have an answer to give that would make sense. Instead he simply mumbled to himself and felt stupid for thinking the way he was, and simply tried to content himself by being like this.

- ---

It wasn't much further to the shop as Sionce's paced picked up a little, the chill from the night air starting to whip at his body despite the coat he wore about his frame. It probably felt colder than it really was because of the state his recovery body was in, and it also probably felt colder than it really was because of the state his mind was in.

He didn't really want to go and talk to Fiach, but this sudden inflow of customers to his house had to stop. He wasn't in the mood to be greeted at his door by people who were ungrateful or beyond stupid, and he didn't feel like he should have to go out of his way to places like cafes in order to answer simple questions left behind by someone.

"...I know I'm thinking tough, but the first thing I'm most likely going to do is ask how he's fairing. If I recall Emile got a hold of him as well, so..."

His own body still ached and pained a good bit from Emile's 'treatment', though most of the burns had already scabbed over and some even had fallen off with complete healing. His one good trait, Sionce had to admit, was how fast and how cleanly he body tended to heal. Of course he'd had lots of scars left over, even one in the middle of his palm, but it didn't matter. He could wear gloves.

"Not much further now..."

Fidgeting slightly at Trisste's tone and refusal to really move, Li'tae found himself wondering what had gotten into his friend. He wasn't usually so...dominant. It left Li'tae feeling awkward, unsure, and just a little intrigued. Half of him was curious as to what Trisste would do if he let him stay in charge for once - the other half was just itching to take back control.

Come to think of it...he had asked Trisste what he wanted to do. And he had more or less given Trisste control of this time. How odd. He hadn't meant to, it had just sort of...happened. A small smirk touched his lips as he removed his arm from around Trisste and eased himself back onto the ground. Lazily raising one knee as he readjusted how he was laying to become more comfortable. Linoleum certainly wasn't that comfortable to begin with, but if he was going to be lying around on it for a while, he might as well be comfortable doing so.

Raising his head just a little to snake one arm under it and give the back of his head a soft resting place. Using his other to absentmindedly draw imaginary designs up one of Trisste's arms. If Trisste wanted to be a tease...Li'tae could certainly play along. And beat him while he was at it. No matter how torturous it was to himself, he'd still win the game.

Idly rubbing one hand over the bruising and fuzz on his jawline and chin, Fiach gave a small start as he saw a figure enclosing on the shop. Was it him, or did that figure look suspiciously familiar and appear as if it had bunny ears growing from its head? Frowning as he picked up his pace to see if it was, in fact, a masked figure he saw, Fiach's head dropped as he realized that it was. Biting his lip as the realization dawned on him that they were both headed to the same destination and the fact he'd have to deal with Sionce sooner, rather than later. Sighing and giving his hair one last nervous brush through with a hand, Fiach raised the other hand in the air before raising his voice just loud enough he hoped his friend might hear.

"Sionce? That you?"

Feeling silly for having to ask, when he knew full well Sionce was the only man that wore a bunny mask all the time, Fiach kicked up his pace to catch up. If they were going to the same place, it didn't matter much if one got there before the other or if they both arrived at the same time. And if there was going to be an argument, he'd much rather find out before they entered the shop. If they argued outside of it, at least there was less chance of Adalia hearing. After the last fight with Sionce, Adalia had refused to leave him alone about both fighting his best friend - and how they bickered to and fro as if they were married.

Slowing his pace down as he caught up to Sionce, Fiach cast his eyes towards the ground. Feeling not unlike a young child about to be scolded by their parent - and feeling worse for behaving like one.

So, Li'tae thought he could win in some way, did he? At least, those were the thoughts that pushed through Trisste's mind as the figure that still rested beneath his legs slowly moved and started to...interact with him more.

"Mmm...."

Naturally, or unnaturally, Trisste's body trembled at the touch of Li'tae's fingers against his arm, and he had to bit his lower lip to not really make any more strange sounds as they traced unseen patterns all about his skin.

The feeling of someone touching him, the sensation of a pressure that didn't come from his own set of source, seemed to thrill him just as much as that first kiss had, and he shifted against Li'tae's frame in an effort to alleviate some of this new, unknown energy.

"....."

Part of him wondered if Li'tae was feeling as strange as he was, or at least as suddenly warm as he was, but Trisste didn't want to ask out of fear that doing so would cost him this game that the pair seemed to be playing with one another. The first to break would be the loser, and a semi-seductive smile spread across his lips as he made himself determined to win.

- --

"O-o-oh, Fiach. Didn't expect to see you there, I was thinking you were out."

Sionce stammered, nearly downright stuttered, as Fiach's voice came into his ears and his figure greeted his eyes. It was stupid of him to act as surprised as he really was just by his friend's appearance and greeting, and he tried to casually slip back into his normal speech patterns and behavior.

"Been a while, huh? How have you been doing, since the deal with..."

He trailed off as his memory his a blank spot, and he didn't feel like pushing the issue just in case he had told Fiach his secret and Fiach did indeed know what he meant in regards to all of that. So, he decided rather wisely to move on to the subject he'd come to the HQ about in the first place.

"You know, I've been having some issues lately with the people I'm supposed to be helping in regards to their PCs. You know I don't really mind doing work as long as it involves something worthwhile, but lately all I've been getting are stupid people with Hacker issues and limited brain waves."

He hoped this was helping set the mood far, far away.

"I thought you were supposed to be screening those kinds of things before they hit me?"

- --

"Mm...."

Trisste let out another weird sound, one that made his face burn bright red, and he quickly clapped his hands over his mouth to try to muffle it. The only problem was that in his zeal to quiet himself he actually struck his face a bit to hard, knocking his glasses from their perch on his nose and leaving behind a red bruise that was stinging with heat.

"Ou, ouch..."

His hands were still over his mouth as his eyes watered from the 'pain', and Trisste looked down at Li'tae as a single tear slowly slid its way down his flushed and rosy cheeks. He probably looked a bit pathetic, or else Li'tae was really worried that he may have actually hurt himself (neither knew the limit of these bodies), as the figure beneath Trisste leaned himself upwards in order to get a better look at the damage that had been done.

Instead though, when he managed to move Trisste's hands away from his face with a small bit of force and a few 'I said, let me see', he was greeted with a sly smile from the smaller youth and a strong pounce that pushed its way into a deep kiss.

The force of the pounce, although he'd been sitting on Li'tae, was enough to help Trisste knock his partner down and onto his back, and he felt a bit triumphant as his miniature sense of dominance had kicked in and let him win this round....until the door opened.

" . .. .. Oh."

Sionce's face quickly paled and then reversed itself to a shade of bright red as he stood in the doorway, his face having turned away from Fiach for the moment it took to open the door.

He almost wished he hadn't, and with an extremely deep bow and a scream of 'I'M SO SORRY', Sionce slammed the door back shut and turned to look at Fiach. His eyes were wide and wild behind his mask, and his heart pounded inside his chest like he'd just gotten finished running a marathon.

" .. .. Wha...."

Was all he could manage to say.
PostPosted: Sat Jan 05, 2008 7:12 pm

A sly smile found its way to Li'tae's lips as he heard Trisste merely say 'mmm'. So, he was starting to get under Trisste's skin, was he? The smile grew just a little wider as he felt Trisste's trembling. Half tempted to pull Trisste down for a kiss, he decided he'd make the man squirm some. After all, if his companion was going to want to have control of the situation...he'd let him. For now. He'd merely be an annoying little fly until the time proved too entertaining to resist - or the temptation to do something became too hard to resist. And Trisste's little wriggling was ensuring that ignoring temptation was becoming harder, and harder, to handle.

Giving a small, sheepish nod of his head, Fiach muttered, "I...was. But Adalia was a little too interested in working today, so I..." Stopping as he realized he was rambling, a light tinge of pink spread across Fiach's face. He rambled when he was nervous, he knew, but he shouldn't be nervous around his friend. Sionce probably wasn't too angry at him anymore. He couldn't still be, could he?

Worried eyes glanced upwards towards Sionce's face, seeking some form of solace. Some hint that he wasn't angry anymore, but as his friend started talking again - Fiach's eyes quickly sought the ground once more. Shaking his head ever so slightly, he shoulders gave a small shrug, "I've...been taking a lot of time off work. Adalia's been taking care of the shop for the most part..." Gesturing towards his jaw as he brought his head back up, he gave a wry smile, "I haven't quite felt like answering questions about this bruise...Brad was bad enough."

Wincing at Sionce's last question, he sighed. He was going to have to give Adalia quite a lecture when he got home. Her job was to WORK when she was at work, not simply send customers off to Sionce! Growling under his breath about the entire situation, he took a long, deep breath to calm himself. "I'm...sorry...Adalia wasn't supposed to do that." His eyes turned to steel as he grumbled, "I'll talk to her about it when I get home. I'm sorry we inconvenienced you so much."

The last 'mmm' from Trisste was about all Li'tae could take. The man made is so hard to resist temptation doing things like that. But just as his hand tightened on Trisste's upper arm to pull him downwards, his friend managed to whack himself in the face. Sighing as he leaned up to see what was wrong, if his companion had managed to actually hurt himself, Li'tae frowned as he practically had to force his friend's hands away. Trisste could be such a stubborn fool when he wanted to!

Eyes widening slightly as Li'tae caught sight of the sly smile, he opened his mouth to question, just as he was pounced. Shocked at the dominant action of his friend, Li'tae took a second to register fully what was going on. His eyes slowly slid shut as his hands found life of their own, one moving to the side of Trisste's face, the other winding its way under his shirt. Had Trisste not been kissing him, Li'tae would have smiled at how smooth the skin felt. Perhaps it wasn't so bad to not be the dominant one all the time, after all...

Hearing the door open, Li'tae's eyes snapped back open. Removing his lips from the kiss, and rolling his head towards the door. Managing only to mutter, "Oh. s**t." as he caught sight of Sionce, wincing as the door slammed. Not quite able, or willing, to form any words or even look at Trisste after they were caught, his hands slid back down to the floor. Damn but Sionce had poor timing!

...Then again, Li'tae reflected, it might have been best they hadn't been doing that in the middle of a shop. With the door unlocked. How stupid he had been while caught up in Trisste and their new bodies! Feeling foolish, a dark look took over his face. Li'tae didn't like it when things didn't go his way, and now it looked like he'd never get Sionce to like him.

Fiach arched an eyebrow at Sionce's behavior, stepping closer towards the door to open it back up before he, too, paled. What if Sionce had caught Adalia in there? What had she been doing? What if there was another guy in there with her? What if...Eyes wide, and angry at himself for having left Adalia at work without checking up on her this past week, his hand grabbed Sionce's shirt without thinking. Pulling his friend up closer to his face, reacting without thinking, Fiach managed to growl, "What was going on in there? Was Adalia in there?"

Shock registered on his face as he realized he'd essentially just threatened his best friend, and his hands dropped to his sides. Leaning against the door, with a defeated look on his face, Fiach sighed, "I'm sorry...I shouldn't have..." Face turned away and eyes to the ground, Fiach wanted to kick himself. And hard. Sionce was his best friend, he shouldn't have let his anger run away with him. He wasn't normally this on edge, and he didn't completely know why. He had a feeling it had to do with his past, but he didn't want to think about that.

Rubbing one hand at the back of his head sheepishly, he muttered, "Sionce...was it Adalia in there? Was she...?" He wasn't entirely sure if he wanted to open that door, but his free hand closed on the door knob as he made himself make eye contact with his friend. Fiach didn't quite know how to make things right with Sionce, but if there was a situation he needed to take care of concerning Adalia...that would have to come first. She was his baby sister, after all.

Trisste's body was in pure heaven as he felt Li'tae start to return his affections by touching more than just his arm. When his hand touched his face he felt like he was going to melt, and he had to hold himself back to do all by shriek as his partner's hand sneaked its way under his shirt and pressed against his skin.

The touch of fingertips against his stomach was amazing and he thanked KX mentally and physically for thinking so far ahead as giving the pair the 'sense' of touch, his joy so glad that he was pretty sure he'd send something KX's way the moment he was done with all of this. Whenever that would be, that is.

Everything was going well until the door opened, someone shouted 'I'M SORRY' and slammed the door behind themselves. He had no idea who it was or what it could have actually meant, but when he could sort of feel Li'tae shrink away beneath him and heard the youth curse...he knew something hadn't ended well.

And then it finally clicked inside his mind, and it took a bit longer than someone would expect for a super computer to process. He quickly moved up and away from Li'tae, actually managing to scramble to his feet with some form of minimalistic grace.

"....Tha....please tell me that wasn't Sionce."

A sense of dread swept over his body at the thought, and his terrified glance moved back and forth between Li'tae and the two figures whose voices were audible through wall and door.

".... ...."

At first Sionce was a bit too shocked to respond, his heart pounding a million miles an hour inside his chest as his mind gave forth its best effort to try and produce an excellent explanation behind what it was he'd just seen.

....He came up with none, and it certainly didn't help him in the least to be picked up and sort of threatened by a once again over-protective Fiach worrying about Adalia. Sionce almost had to roll his eyes at this (he would have if he still wasn't stunned) as he was slowly growing tired of the siblings displaying their natural rolls as siblings...to him.

When Fiach let him go and stammered out an apology, as well as the questioned he already asked before, annoyance actually won out over the whole shock system and Sionce felt his eyebrows scrunch as he glared.

"If you're so worried about her then why did you leave her alone? Don't take your sister complex out on me every time you think something bad happened to her."

That...that wasn't what he'd wanted to say and Sionce felt a small pang of 'oops' inside as he finished speaking, but he let the air settle between them before he decided to actually answer.

"And no, she wasn't in there. It was...something else. Two guys, and they were...."

His face burned again, so bright he couldn't really think to speak anymore, and like a young girl who was too shocked for anything he raised his hands to the sides of his face, embarrassed.

"I...I can't really say anymore about that."

". .. .. .."

Trisste still couldn't recover, and he started to pace back and forth as he demanded the same question over and over, ended each time with a different statement of either 'what now?' or 'oh god.'

As if there was a god for the Hackers.

His attention finally snapping back to Trisste as his partner quickly and clumsily got to his feet, Li'tae stayed where he was on the floor a moment longer, before finally dragging himself to a sitting position. He didn't really feel like moving anymore, or even having his body anymore. Pulling one knee up close to his body, he rested an arm on it, while using his other hand to keep himself propped up. Li'tae's red eyes glittered darkly as he watched Trisste's head swivel from the door back to him.

Wincing at the sound of argument that was coming through the door, he forced himself to focus only on his partner. He pulled himself to a standing position and sighed as he looked Trisste dead in the eyes and simply muttered, "I'm...sorry." It was Sionce out there, though he hadn't been able to catch who the other person was. Judging by what sounded like a faint lilt in that angry tone...Fiach was also out there. Not good. Not good at all. Adalia was going to be in a lot of trouble for this, if Fiach found out she had wandered off with a stranger...

Worry gnawed at Fiach as Sionce seemed to just stare at him. He'd gone too far, and he knew it. There had been no reason for him to snatch Sionce up like that and Fiach quickly grew concerned that he might have just torn whatever had remained of their friendship. He wanted to apologize, to take back angry words, to wrap his friend in a hug to show he hadn't meant it, but all of that disappeared as he heard Sionce accuse him of both having a sister complex - and taking everything out on his friend.

Suddenly out of breath and seeing only red, Fiach's hand dropped from the door knob only to ball into a tight fist as he twisted his body to slam his fist into the door. Laying his forehead on the cool wooden door, he sighed as he felt something warm trickle onto his hand. He needed to cool down before he said anything, and with Sionce's next words, Fiach knew that cool down would have to be done quickly. Removing his hand from the cracked wood he'd dented, he deftly stuck his hand into a pocket, wincing slightly at the pain of it before turning to face his friend.

Through gritted teeth, he managed to growl, "I do not have a sister complex. I barely have the right to call myself her brother! I just..." Biting his tongue to prevent himself from continuing on in a rant he knew he shouldn't speak, a hint of metallic touched his tongue. He was on a roll tonight for hurting himself, but he'd rather bite his tongue than yell at his friend. Not when he didn't even know if they were still friends.

Glowering at Sionce as the man continued with what really lurked behind that door, his jaw worked noiselessly as he tried to comprehend what had been said. Two guys...doing something Sionce would rather not say...but no mention of Adalia. So where was she? Why wasn't she at the store working? Why had she left two strange men inside? Had they done something to her? Shaking his head to try to clear it of the questions that sprinted through his mind, he leaned against the door, trying to catch his breath, though he had no reason to feel out of breath.

With his eyes narrowed, he finally managed to look back into the eyes of the mask, "If they were doing something, they're likely not now. And if they're doing things they shouldn't...then I want them out of the shop. They have no business being in there like that! And Adalia shouldn't have let them in there in the first place!" Wanting to hit something again, his fists tightened together, but he refrained. His temper shouldn't be besting him like this. He had it under control!

But Sionce was right. Why had he left her alone if all he could do was worry?

Defeated, Fiach's anger started to slip away from the boiling point. "I thought...Adalia was capable of handling something as simple as working a few hours at the shop." Eyes staring into Sionce's beseechingly, he muttered, "Was it wrong of me to try and trust her?"

He was topic hopping again, and his mind was racing too fast for him to keep up. Should his evening keep going like this, Fiach knew he'd be headed for the bottle by the end of it.

Mournfully watching Trisste pace, Li'tae couldn't take it anymore and walked over to Trisste, catching his hand. "Please...don't worry. It'll be all right. I promise." It HAS to be all right, damn it!" His eyes fervently searched Trisste's, hoping his friend would find the strength to calm down before the two boys outdoors made their entrance. An entrance Li'tae was starting to dread.

Startled at the sound of something slamming into the door, Li'tae's eyes narrowed as his head jerked towards it. It sounded as if things were only going to get worse, and as he heard Fiach's voice rise...he realized they needed to do something to interrupt before things got out of hand. Having read the man's journal...he knew things could get ugly. And fast. If Fiach lost control of his temper...glancing over at Trisste, Li'tae sighed. As much as he might dislike the thought, someone was going to have to step in. And it might as well be him. After all, Sionce didn't particularly like him already, so what was throwing one more nail into the proverbial coffin?

Letting go of Trisste's hand, he sighed. "I'll...go find out what's going on. Explain things to them. Or at least try to." Taking a couple steps forward, he turned to grin at Trisste, "Or, at least explain as much as a human could possibly understand." With a wink to show he was jesting, Li'tae turned back towards the door and took a deep breath, steeling himself for whatever might come his way.

Trisste turned and looked at Li'tae as he rose to his feet, and if it was possible for him to pale any more than the shade he was already at he did when his lover spoke and muttered that he was 'sorry'.

Li'tae, to Trisste's memory, apologized very seldom. Almost never actually, so those two words poured down him like knives being thrust into his skin. He didn't think feeling 'fear' would be so horrible, so he did he best to stay calm...for now. When he was safe and back on his computer perhaps he'd freak out then. Even with Li'tae's hand holding his own he didn't feel entirely safe, though he didn't quite understand the reasoning behind that as well.

"What...what should we do now?"

His thoughts were interrupted by the sound of a fist impacting against the door, and his heart pounded inside his chest as splintering wood was the next thing to grace his ears. Dear god, what was going on outside?! Were Sionce and Fiach fighting again? He'd remembered the encounter the pair had shared before, the bruises that they'd left on one another's frames as they pounded their way to some kind of man-like understanding. Trisste only hoped now that nothing was going to happen, but his hopes were becoming scattered as Li'tae made his way for the door.

"No, stop. Please."

Trisste's voice didn't make it seem like his was begging, as the words came out hard and rather steel-like, but the expression he wore on his face suggested he was feeling otherwise. His eyes were wide with terror, his cheeks so pale that instead of being tan like mocha he looked like brown chalk, and his hands rested against his face with his fingers barely covering his lips. It was like he was a young girl watching her love march off to a battle she knew he couldn't possibly win, and he was actually growing more and more worried with each passing moment.

"Don't go out there."

- -

"Geezus, that was brilliant wasn't it?"

Sionce touched the top of his forehead, or rather the rabbit mask, with his hand as he sighed over Fiach's reaction to the comment about a 'sister complex'. He knew he'd hit the nail on the head as soon as he'd spit the words out, but Sionce wasn't really sure how hard he'd hit it. Also, he wasn't going to apologize for it either, as he was getting so very tired of playing the middle lackey. He wasn't helping this family get back together, even if he wanted to, only because the pair were too stupid to try themselves.

"Let me see your hand before you get blood all over your clothes and end up ruining them, and don't you dare tell me it's fine. You were such an a** to me about my wounds when I got hurt so it's only fair that I return the actions."

He held his hand out, almost like he was waiting, and raised his eyebrows behind his mask as Fiach begin to speak again. It was almost like the shock of what Sionce had just seen was far, far gone from his system, most likely chased away when Fiach went off his rocker (again).

Sure, seeing two men kissing in the middle of the floor in the headquarters hallway had jumped his brain and made him feel a little feverish, but only because he wondered if the image he'd seen was a mirror of how his heart was feeling over looking at Fiach.

Not that he'd even admit such a thing. Ever.

"If Adalia's gone off somewhere, what do you think her reasons would be and who would she be with? Do you think she'd leave the store all alone with no one she trusts to protect it?"

Sionce, despite how he honestly felt about trying to help the brother-sister combo, did he best to try and tide some things over. He wasn't in the mood to bad mouth Addy, but he also wasn't in the mood to try and fully cover her a** either. He wasn't sure if this was helping, but everything was worth a shot right now.

"you weren't wrong in trusting Addy, and you weren't wrong in your actions just now either. I honesty...."

He had to pause and think of what to say next, as Sionce really did have no idea of what to do. He'd never had the warmth of a family, not with the sisters he had, so trying to patch this relationship up between Adalia and Fiach was certainly a pot calling a kettle incident.

"Just....just give me your hand."

- ---

"Li'tae, I don't want you to go out there. Instead, let me go. It would probably be better as I have a better chance of reasoning with Sionce than you. For various reasons."

What Trisste really meant was he knew that Sionce wasn't fond of Li'tae and he knew that he would be able to try and explain things a bit easier. He was willing to throw away whatever bond he had with Sionce to protect Li'tae, as Trisste was pretty sure neither of the men outside would be happy.

In the very least then, he could do something about it.

Watching Trisste closely, Li'tae noted some of the same expressions of body language he'd seen in Adalia after an incident with Fiach. Fear. The word rolled about in his android brain as if it were a cannon ball on the loose. He felt as if his own 'heart' was palpitating, beating faster and faster as if it might burst at the thought of what Sionce might do. Li'tae predicted Fiach would either clam up or hit something, but Sionce...the man in the bunny mask was a lot harder to predict. Not really sure how to put words together to calm his friend's fears, Li'tae found himself shrugging when Trisste asked him what to do.

He didn't know. For once, Li'tae was at an absolute loss for what should be done, or how best to distract the humans from the problem. Exacerbation was his specialty, not calming people down. Pointedly moving towards the door, feeling that he was much better equipped to handle the anger likely to come their way than his partner was, he stopped as Trisste told him to stop. Uncertainty filled the hacker-droid as he recognized the commanding voice his friend was using. It was one you used when you wanted someone to listen, without question. With a frown, Li'tae turned back to Trisste, a scathing remark ready on his tongue, only to blanch at the fear and alarm on his friend's face.

Moving back to Trisste's side with a quickness he hadn't thought humans could move, Li'tae wrapped Trisste in a wordless hug. While he didn't know what words to use to calm someone down, he did know how to show what he wanted to say. Even if sometimes it wasn't the best way to express one's self, it was the only way Li'tae understood.

When Sionce reminded him of how he'd been so harsh in regards to the wounds he had received at his sister's hands, Fiach's face blanched. He hadn't meant to be so rude, he had just been so concerned for Sionce's health. The man had been emotional and injured so much...In truth, it had alarmed Fiach to see his normally well together friend in such shape. He had always thought that if either of them were to have an emotional break down...it would be him. Sionce, even with his unusual rabbit mask fetish and how he had seemed to get beat up so often, had always seemed the stronger of the two to him. To have seen this strong person break down and cry...had been difficult for Fiach to swallow. He hadn't known what to do, and had panicked, becoming gruff to cover up his worries and fears.

As his injured hand tightened, hidden within its pocket, he winced. It certainly didn't feel as if he'd broken it, but there'd definitely be swelling and bruising. Shaking his head at Sionce's request to see his hand, he turned slightly to one side, protectively putting the pocket with the injured hand closer to the door. Responding in a gruff manner, Fiach muttered, "I'll wash them in cold water. Won't stain that way."

Sighing as Sionce asked him questions he didn't know the answer to, Fiach still couldn't believe that Sionce had accused him of having such a brother-sister complex. How could Fiach possibly explain that it was his very real and powerful fears that he would fail her, that made him react so badly to problems regarding her? The realization that he had very likely just scared his friend away for good with his bizarre reaction to the situation at hand, as well as his concern for his sister's safety drove Fiach to the brink of numbness. He felt as if his mask was starting to crumble and that at any moment now, everyone would see him for the disgusting failure he truly was.

His thoughts were swirling too fast inside his head, and it was starting to confuse him. Putting his free hand to his forehead, he gave his head a small shake as if to clear it from unwanted thoughts, grimacing only slightly at the rumble of pain this brought about. Staring blandly at his friend, he realized he had absolutely no idea where Adalia would go or why. Or who with. She had stopped telling him anything about her personal life except for the vaguest of facts a long time ago. The thing that made the least sense was her leaving the store unmanned. While his sister was a pest...she was usually trustworthy. If she gave her word, she kept it.

Leaning his back against the wall, he sighed, "I don't...know...she said she'd be here...She never breaks her word..." There was only one other possible conclusion. If she left the shop while she was working, she'd only leave someone that she trusted there to keep an eye on it. And she wouldn't, he didn't think, leave for a very long period of time. The thought that she knew one of the two boys in the shop who had caused Sionce such a start calmed him, but only barely. Maybe they knew where she was and why she'd left. Staring into Sionce's eyes with a hollow look, he mumbled, "She must...know one of the two in there. That's the...only explanation..."

Why was he stuttering? Why was it getting difficult to see straight and to breathe normally? He shouldn't be reacting like this, and he knew it. The past week had been difficult for him, true, but shouldn't be enough to make him slip up like this. Fiach didn't like for anyone to see anything but what he showed them. And now, here was Sionce, seeing the panicked and hollow shell that really existed. A panic attack...what a way to greet his friend after a week of avoiding him!

Barely hearing Sionce demand for his hand again, Fiach numbly gave it to him without question this time. Allowing himself to lean against the door and stare off at the ground, not really caring to look at his friend, or pay attention to what lurked behind the door. He needed to gather himself back together, and do it quickly. Fiach also knew he needed to figure out why he was so on edge lately. If he could narrow that down, maybe, just maybe he could stop reacting so badly...

Letting Trisste go from the hug as his friend asked him to let him go out there instead, Li'tae shook his head firmly. He knew Sionce would blame him no matter what the situation was, and felt that if he had to face the man's anger, he'd rather get it over sooner, rather than later. Preferably away from Trisste's sight, but within it if necessary. Again, unsure of how to respond, he instead pulled Trisste into sudden, but deep, kiss. He wanted to remind Trisste that they were there together and that they didn't have to deal with anything alone. Unequipped to handle such a profound and intimate expression with words, Li'tae chose instead to let his actions do the talking for him.

His bright blue eyes glittered darkly into Trisste's as he finally released him from his hold, "I'll open the door. You can do the talking." Painting a smirk on his lips, he added a teasing, "That good enough for you? Or did you want to be the one to stand nearest to Fiach?" With a grin, he tried to show that he was attempting to make light of the situation to put Trisste at ease, and not to make it seem less than it was. Li'tae was in big trouble if Sionce decided to act against him, and he knew it. So he desperately wanted the situation to end well, even if he couldn't be the one in control.

Trisste's knees went weak as Li'tae pressed his lips and his body against his frame, the hacker-droids mind swimming with a mixture of happiness that battled against the terror that was also being recorded. It was only because his memory was perfect and super elite that he was able to recall the situation they were in and no lose himself in some sort of 'pleasure', sort of resetting himself back to bewildered once they broke apart and Li'tae started to speak again.

He'd suggested the pair work together, though he'd act like a shield for Trisste in case of an event they couldn't foresee, and despite how much he liked Li'tae Trisste didn't see any problem with him being a meat shield. Sometimes it was self-preservation that mattered most, even if both of the Hackers turned 'human' were slightly overreacting. Not that they were any different from the humans behind the door.

"So I do the talking, you take the hits and we keep on coming? Sounds like some sort of a boxing event but it's better than nothing."

Trisste prayed that Sionce was calming Fiach down in his own way, perhaps through some speech to the man or by knocking him out via force. Pretty imaginative, but still one could hope.

"After you then."

- ---

When Fiach finally gave up his hand Sionce felt like he'd won a small battle of the wills against his friend, and he swallowed inwardly as he tried to calm down. He was getting just as worked up in spite of himself and everything around, but he didn't think it would be the better of the ideas to simply let his emotions run around unchecked just like Fiach was doing with his own.

It was in times like this that Sionce actually started to act his age, which was older than Fiach even if by a single year, and he knew he needed to perhaps at least try to calm the situation back to a decent level where no one would get hurt. He was tired of being hurt, of seeing others getting hurt, and most of all he was getting fed up of being the cause and Fiach doing the acting.

"That wasn't so hard, now was it?"

Sionce's voice was soft, almost a bit soothing, and with care to take a look he inspected the state of the knuckles before him. Nothing broken, nothing seriously cut. Fiach probably wouldn't need stitches or anything other than some peroxide and a band-aid, and he sighed inwardly with relief that this injury wasn't serious. It had been caused by him in a roundabout way, what with Sionce not speaking clearly and popping off a remark about a sister complex, so he was certainly not so heavy hearted to see that things were in well order.

"I know you're probably not listening to me, your usual as of late it seems, but I'll let you know you didn't break anything other than the hole in the door you'll have to pay to repair. As for what's going on inside..."

Sionce paused, not really wanting to continue. He'd run out of things to say as Fiach seemed to be coming to his own conclusion about Adalia's actions and his own levels of his relationship with here, so perhaps it would soon be time for the bunny-masked man to step back and let the waves meet the shore for a change.

Taking the other's hand more into his own, with enough strength and gentleness to spread Fiach's fingers so that they could interlock hands, there was a bit more to Sionce's actions than first met the eye. One could think he was simply being fruitish by holding the hand of his male friend, and one could think he was doing it as a reassuring gesture as much as he could.

In reality it was a combination of the first two mixed with a third reason, which was if Faich tried to do something stupid Sionce would squeeze his hand tightly and press into his wounds. Hand pain was almost always enough to stop anyway, and Sionce was no idiot in knowing how to make pain a great weapon for offense and defense.

"I'm thinking we just go in and ask what's going on instead of barging in with guns blazing and banners drawn high. There's a reason for almost everything that everyone does, even someone like Addy. As you're willing to try and trust her, please tell me you're going to give her the benefit of the doubt?"

- ---

Almost as if by reading Sionce's thoughts did the shop door slowly creak open, Li'tae tan hand pushing it softly while he stood in front of Trisste.

The Hacker-droid with the green hair could only stammer in his memory banks and vocal processes as he stood mere feet away from Sionce and Fiach, and he raised his hands to the middle of his stomach before knitting his fingers together and taking a bow. It was always worth a shot of something, and Trisste was willing to be struck down while bowing.

Made him seem like a martyr, right?

"Sionce, Fiach, good evening. I'm...this is Trisste speaking."

Why did he sound like a telephone operator?
PostPosted: Fri Jan 11, 2008 10:29 pm

Li'tae smirked as he saw the brief effect his kiss had on Trisste, and made note of how his partner reacted to such things. For after all of this was all over, though he doubted whatever happened here that Fiach would really be all right for quite some time yet, he was pleased to hear Trisste consent to them working together. A crooked grin took Li'tae's face when Trisste summed it up and he gave a nod, "Pretty much. Though I was thinking it sounded more like tag team wrestling..." With a mischievous grin he gave a small shrug before turning back to the door. Sure, it might bother him just a little how readily Trisste had agreed to allow him to take any hits that might come, but he was happy to be allowed to be in the more controlling position. Or, at least, the position that more suited his 'abilities'.

A grimace briefly spanned Fiach's face as Sionce took hold of his injured hand. Though it was held with care it made Fiach feel as if he'd done something terribly wrong. He hadn't intentionally had that explosion of anger, it had just happened. It was a sign things were getting to be too much for him, and as he stared off at the ground while Sionce inspected his hand, he wished that things weren't as awkward between them as they were at the moment. When Sionce spoke, Fiach merely grunted in response, raising his shoulders in a small shrug.

Unknowingly, as Sionce moved on and started to talk to him once more, Fiach's hand tightened in his friend's grasp. Feelings of guilt suddenly attached themselves to him as he realized he'd actually busted a hole in the door of the shop. He was going to have to get it fixed straight away the next morning, before anyone saw it. If there was one thing he'd have trouble explaining away...it'd be a big hole in the door.

A mixture of feelings touched Fiach's face as Sionce's grasp on his hands become more intimate, and more ensnaring all at once. The soft, calming grasp of his friend's hand warmed Fiach, removing him if only slightly from the numbing state he'd been spiraling himself into. At the time time; however, the intertwining of fingers and steady grip left Fiach feeling trapped. Desperately wishing he could see Sionce's rich green eyes, rather than the emotionless bunny mask, to see what was running through his friend's mind, he nodded dumbly at Sionce's suggestion.

Turning his eyes back to the ground, before impulsively stepping forward and wrapping his friend in what could only be called a one handed bear hug, he whispered, "I'm...sorry." He wasn't entirely sure just what he was apologizing for, he just knew he'd hurt his friend.

Taking a small step back, but still close enough to tower over his friend, he gave a small nod before finally putting voice to the thoughts in his head.

"I...guess I really am just a big fool, aren't I? I know that she wouldn't break her word...but I'm still worried about her. I just...don't want to fail her again." His bright blue eyes again turned towards the bunny mask's holes, staring beseechingly into them, as if seeking reassurance.

And when all was said and done, Fiach still hadn't pulled his hand away from Sionce's. No matter how ensared it left him feeling, it was a source of strength for him. A reminder that at least for right now, he was not alone.

Turning only slightly when the door behind them opened, Fiach's eyes widened and a small growl emitted from between his clenched teeth. Who were these boys and why were they in his shop? His injured hand tightened into Sionce's, as he struggled to not say or do anything 'stupid'. Merely staring as the one hacker bowed, and introduced himself as Trisste.

But Trisste was a Hacker. On a computer screen. How was he a person all of a sudden? Confused, Fiach merely looked helplessly at Sionce, as if he expected his friend to have an explanation for him.

Li'tae watched the two boys' reaction closely, noting how close Fiach and Sionce were standing, and how tightly Fiach seemed to be clutching at Sionce's hand. Either Fiach was worse off than he'd imagined, or Sionce was finally making his move. Shrugging only slightly, deciding those were things to pester them about later, after he'd made all of this up to Trisste, he gave a mischievous grin before throwing his own introduction at his friends.

"And I would be Li'tae, the mischievous."

Oh, but this would be fun!

Trisste could almost sigh in relief when he noticed that Sionce had a hold of Fiach's hand, both affectionately and probably even a bet protective-like, and he somehow knew for now that they might make it out of this okay.

His self-introduction to the pair had caught them off-guard to be certain, and he was pretty sure with Li'tae chiming in right behind him that they may or may not be able to get out everything they wanted to speak about before someone regained their sense and nailed them both in the head.

"Uh, about what happened before, I can explain that. You see, I-"

"I think it would be better to explain how you've managed to get a body."

Sionce, for the most part, seemed unusually calm as the Hacker-droid pair came out and introduced himself, though if someone could see his face they would know that it was as pale as snow and almost as ashen as anything could be. This was one of the reasons he was so glad he wore the mask, so others couldn't see how at unease he always was, but he didn't really know that because no one could see his face that they felt a little...distant.

His voice was shaking as he spoke, out of fear and thoughts that this was something out of a sci-fi movie instead of real life, and without really meaning too he slightly tightened his grip on Fiach's hand. It was his only real way of showing he was scared despite his fale bravado.

"So...so you believe that I'm really Trisste?"

The Hacker-droid found that hard to believe, and he looked over at Li'tae for a bit of a backup before swinging his gaze out and towards the male pair before him.

He sounded more than a bit skeptical, and as he took a step forward towards Sionce, he was a bit hurt to see the man who'd 'raised him' take a step back, and closer to Fiach.
PostPosted: Sat Jan 12, 2008 10:03 pm

Fiach continued to stare mutely at the two hacker droids. Not quite understanding how they could have managed to get bodies, or why they had chosen to do so. Or why Li'tae sounded so...self satisfied as he looked at Fiach and Sionce. Yet, for some reason, when the hacker droid tagged on "the mischievous" Fiach knew that whoever it was they were talking to, at the very least, had to know Li'tae. And very well. He didn't think anyone else would have added that tag to their introduction, and the cocky look was something he'd become very familiar with as Li'tae harassed him with it constantly.

Surprised when Sionce took charge, Fiach's eyes widened slightly as he looked at his friend. He sounded...afraid. Something that Fiach wasn't entirely accustomed to, having grown used to thinking of Sionce as the stronger one of the two. Wincing as the hand tightened onto his, he glanced down, surprised that he hadn't actually broken away from his friend already. With a short frown, Fiach gave a light squeeze back, trying to remind Sionce that he was right there with him and that everything would be all right. Not even entirely sure if the gesture was effective as Sionce took a step backwards when Trisste took one forwards.

Inadvertently stepping so that he was half in front of Sionce, an easily managed move considering he was a lot large, Fiach placed himself protectively in front of Sionce. It wasn't that he thought Sionce needed protection, it was more a force of habit. A reaction to the shakiness of voice and the step backwards his friend had taken. He was facing Sionce while he stood in front of him, managing to keep an eye on him through the corner of his eyes, and watching the droids closely. He wanted to know if they were who they said they were, but couldn't think of a way to figure that out.

Flicking his eyes back towards Sionce, his tongue shot out to lick his lips, a sign of nervousness, before he muttered, "You could always ask him a question he wouldn't know unless he was Trisste, couldn't you? If it is Trisste...you don't have to be worried. He's your friend." Attempting a friendly, comforting smile for Sionce, Fiach turned his head to lock eyes with the blue eyed hacker. With everything Li'tae had on him...he hoped the fool droid didn't open his big mouth and blab anything he wanted better left unsaid. His eyes daring the hacker droid to say anything unwanted, but also inviting him to prove that he was, in fact, Li'tae.

Frowning when he saw Sionce take a step backwards to Fiach, Li'tae worried about his Trisste. The boy loved Sionce, more than he'd tell Li'tae, and he knew that seeing that would be like a dagger through his partner's 'heart'. Glancing back at him, Li'tae gave him a wink before returning his attention to the duo before him. When he heard Fiach suggest asking Trisste something that only he would know, a cocky smirk touched his lips. His bright blue eyes meeting Fiach's, knowing exactly what the boy was thinking - and knowing exactly how to get back at him for being part of what had just bothered Trisste. No matter how inadvertently.

Touching one finger to his nose, Li'tae gave a wink, before uttering just one thing to Fiach. A statement Li'tae knew carried more than just a little weight behind it, as he grinned devilishly, "The question never asked never gets answered." Turning his back on the man he walked over to Trisste, before wrapping his arms around his partner's shoulders. Eyes glittering out at Sionce, daring him to say anything against them - or Trisste. His cocky smirk stayed in place, the knowledge that his cryptic statement would be a blow to Fiach - one that just might provide entertainment to him later.

Hearing Li'tae's statement came with a feeling tantamount to a physical blow to Fiach. Any thoughts he might have had skittered away as he remembered the wreck. Swallowing numbly, he gave a small nod before again licking his lips, "That's...Li'tae, Sionce. So that must be Trisste..." Focusing his attention on the ground before him, he hoped that Sionce wouldn't ask him why he suddenly knew for certain that the droid was who he said he was, his hand hanging loosely intertwined in Sionce's, his attention fully distracted, leaving Fiach feeling numb and alone.

Sionce wondered how Fiach so quickly knew that the figures before him were who they were claiming to be, and he found it a little hard to believe that he could do it from a single sentence spoken by the one who called himself 'Li'tae'. Yet it had been done, Fiach had confirmed it, and for a moment or two Sionce swore he could feel Fiach dropping from his grasp and slipping further away from him, if only mentally in the least.

"Fiach, don't leave me behind. Please."

His words were whispered, only loud enough that perhaps Fiach could hear then correctly, and he thought about holding the man's hand tighter but stopped when he remembered it was injured and a squeeze would only harm him further. Instead, he merely leaned a bit of his weight against Fiach's protecting shoulder, his eyes turned out behind his mask at the duo that stood close together before him.

The blue-eyed man looked a little more than smug after what he said, but the man with the ice blue eyes that bordered silver seemed to look like he'd been slapped across the face and left behind by someone. Sionce didn't really know it, but he'd just hurt Trisste in a way both Hacker and man hadn't really thought possible. It didn't really strike him that way, even when he was told that the figures were both Li'tae and Trisste, and part of him didn't want to believe...until he saw the tear.

A single tear was falling down Trisste's cheek, silently, as the Hacker-droids face remained unmoving and almost unemotional. The step back Sionce had taken from him, and the way Fiach had moved without any seemingly hesitation, had hurt him. His 'heart' was aching, his mind for certainly reeling with thoughts, and in the midst of it all his 'body' had started to 'cry'. If anything, it was all a little too overwhelming.

"I...."

He opened his mouth to speak, his man-made voice creaking with what seemed to be the 'weight of emotion', but in reality Trisste was hesitating on what he should say or do. Sionce was terrified of him, as he thought he would be knowing the man's personality, and even with Li'tae's arms about his frame Trisste still 'felt' alone. And betrayed.

"I'm sorry, I'll take my leave now."

That was all he managed to say has he lowered his head and gaze towards the ground in a dismissive bow, in the while pushing Li'tae's arms off and away from him with a bit of force that wasn't rude yet was not kind. He didn't want to be touched, he didn't want to be held.

Trisste hadn't been expecting Sionce to jump for joy at the sight of him (he certainly wouldn't be when he saw the bill), but to actually flinch away from him and not even try to speak was the biggest proverbial stab in the back. turning to go, he took on last look over his shoulder at the pair before he decided to make his way back into the building. At least there was plenty of space inside there that he could hide himself until something happened.

"Uh, wait..."

Sionce's voice was weak as he watched the interactions before him, and he moved around Fiach towards a better view without letting go of his hands.

"Trisste, stop."

It sounded pathetic, and he looked over at Li'tae like he wished for his help. Which was odd.
