Noelle smiled, and floated slightly. She gripped his shoulders firmly. "I've learned not to get caught." She smiled. "When did you start?"

Noelle laughed. "Nope, I think this is what they call 'levitation'." She closed her eyes, and stopped floating. "I began when I was five." She grinned.

"I know what it is now." She smiled. "I'll remember to wear heavy shoes from now on." She twirled a bit. "I'm Noelle Prongs!"
Elaine Kin a voice in her mind said, but she shoved it away. She would never use that name again Never!
A man tapped her shoulder. "Elaine?" He asked quietly.
"Huh?" She stepped back, staring at the man. it was the fat man from the inn. "Darquewillow, I need you to do something..."

Alice didn't really disappear, but she did go out the back way to get closer to her 'home'. It was just a few blocks away at that point, and she started running for the heck of it. She enjoyed running. She was good at running. Not getting caught, well that's a different story. She had managed to keep away from her parents though. She was running from them ever since she was about 6 and a half.

She reached her warm little ally, and slowed to a walk until she reached the back wall. There, no one would see her except the few people with windows into the ally. She picked up a stone and threw it at the back wall, which was also the back wall of a huge mansion-like house. As it hit, it made a little 'thud' like sound. Alice's expression changed from bored, to puzzled.

It didn't usually make that sound did it? Alice picked back up the stone after it fell back down from the spot it had hit, and looked at it. It was considerably smaller, and lighter. Had a piece broken off of it? She let the stone hit the ground, and picked up another stone. It was larger, and should of at least weighed five pounds. Alice picked it up with ease, though, and threw it at the same wall. It flew about two stories up, and as it hit, there was a loud snapping kind of noise. Maybe like brick breaking. also, the stone shattered, and the pieces didn't return back to the ground. Interestingly enough, they flew through a new hole in the wall, about where Alice had thrown the stone. The hole reviled a girl, about Alice's age, practicing a flute. She was amazingly good at it, and Alice almost forgot about the sharp, small pieces of rock flying through the hole.

"LOOK OUT!" Alice's voice echoed through the small, empty ally, scaring a few cats, making them run toward the streets. The girl's head turned toward the hole, as if not noticing there was a hole there before. Understandable, considering there wasn't. Her eyes grew wide, and she ducked just before the shattered pieces of rock reached her. They hit the red carpet behind and below her with a few 'thuds'.

"What the hell?" The girl said as she walked toward the hole, and peered out. "Who the ******** are you?" Alice didn't respond. Instead, she just hung her jaw open in surprise. Did she make that hole? What happened to the rock? Who was the girl?

Darque followed after Noelle, doing as she commanded, running. 'I guess that guys not someone she works well with...?' Darque thought, then noticed Noelle start to fly off the ground again. "Ah! Noelle, you're levitating again!" Darque cried, man this chick was fast, 'Or i'm just out of shape...'

Darque kept running, and, hopefully, finally lost the fat man after running through the maze like streets for an hour or two. "How can a fat man like him even run that fast, and for that long?!" Darque said, mostly to himself. He sighed and took a breather in a near by alleyway. He leaned up against the grubby wall and leaned his head back to look up at the sky. 'Hope Noelle got away and is ok...' Darque thought, he had once again ended up alone in this big town and, normally, liked it that way. Right now, he didn't, the excitement of having a friend or two around was too much fun for Darque to resist, and right now the friend he was looking for was running on the roof tops somewhere.

Darque screeched and fell over, surprised and startled by Noelle's sudden appearance. Darque moaned but sat up from his place on the grubby ground. "You'll end up giving this old sot a heart attack if you keep doing that..." He mumbled, then looked up at Noelle, leaning back on his hands. "An explanation would be great!" Darque grinned and tilted his head to the side.

"So good that you could have stopped at father." Darque said, standing up and dusting himself off. "I'm still calling you Noelle!" Darque grinned again.
