Lexis thought for a moment, remembering information he had learned from the time he stole Sara's AP Bio book to read. "Well, snow is just water isn't it? Water freezes at 32 degrees Fahrenheit or 0 degrees Celsius. So snow would be about that cold. Not that I have a reference to tell you exactly how could that would feel," he added, slightly embarrassed. "Anyways, I've heard that snow is clumps of snowflakes, and that each snowflake is unique."

"Hmmm..." Talitha looked thoughtful, "On the first snowfall, I'm going to find me as many snowflakes as I can."

Lexis smiled. He'd like to see the many different snowflakes as well. Hopefully, it'll snow sometime soon. Not that he didn't like Autumn. "I'd like to do that too. It'd be fun."

"It will be fun!" she replied, happily smiling. The sky began to glow with a bright orange hue, the sun setting in a fiery haze. "Cool," Talitha said, "That means the stars will be out soon!" No matter how many times the sky grew dark and the stars came out Talitha was still awed.

Lexis looked up at the sky. He loved sunsets, and the many different colors that the sky turned into when the sun slowly disappeared. Twilight was his favorite time of day. "We should go find a good place to look at them," he said happily.

"Sure!" Talitha started bouncing in a random direction, "Should we try to find the hill again?"

"Yeah!" Lexis had a basic idea of where it was. It was somewhere south of here he believed. Well, it couldn't hurt to double-check. "Do you remember where it was? Or should we climb a tree again?"

Talitha pondered for a moment, "I'm kind of directionally challenged, so it's probably the opposite direction of what I point... But I think it was that way..." She turned around to point northward. Used to telling direction under her old world's sky, or in this world's night sky, Talitha was almost always completely lost during the daytime if she was in unfamiliar territory. "If we really aren't sure I'll climb the tree!" she said, laughing.

Lexis smiled. If he was right about where the hill was located, then Talitha was right about being directionally challenged. "I was thinking it's over there, but we might as well double check, you know?"

"Okay!" she said as she scrambled up a large maple tree and looked around. Spying it a little ways off she called down, "I was right! It's in the opposite direction than where I pointed to before!" She shimmied down te tree, landing with a thump on her tail at the bottom. "Oooh..." Shaking out her bruised tail, Talitha started walking in the right direction, "Yay! Let's go!"

"Are you alright?" asked Lexis after she fell. Well, she seemed to be alright. Just a bruise. When she started walking toward the hill Lexis walked besides Talitha, looking up at the clouds which were also turning a nice orange and yellow color.

"Okie!" Talitha wiggled her haunches and prepared to bolt, "One... Two... Three..." She took off through the forest, laughing as the wind rushed through her ears and the leaves and grass whipped at her paws as she sped past.

Lexis took off on the count of three. He was a bit behind Talitha, but it really didn't matter too much. He just liked to run. It was exhilarating.
